Gonzalo “El Chano” Juarez-Limon wanted for 1996 murder…
(Ana Michaels, Liberty Headlines) An illegal alien who has been deported six times in the past has just been deported for a seventh time back to Mexico where he faces charges of aggravated homicide.
According to a press statement from Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE), Gonzalo “El Chano” Juarez-Limon has been turned over to Mexican authorities and is wanted in Mexico for the 1996 murder of Manuel Monrroy Islas.
ICE reported that Juarez-Limon was first removed from the United States in 1999.
Juarez-Limon was first convicted of illegally entering the United States in December 2007 and has been twice federally convicted for illegally re-entering the United States after having been previously deported.
According to ICE, an alien who re-enters the United States after having been previously deported commits a felony punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison, if convicted.
The aggravated homicide charge dates back to 1996, yet Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in El Paso, Texas was only notified of the warrant against Juarez-Limon in February of 2018.
Earlier this month, ICE arrested and deported a Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member wanted for homicide by El Salvadoran law enforcement authorities.
The gang member, Raul Ramos-Guido, was a convicted criminal alien illegally residing in the U.S. who, like Juarez-Limon, had previously been deported in 2014.
