‘When will the world stop dehumanizing our Palestinian people?’…
(Kaylee McGhee, Liberty Headlines) As radical terrorists rained rockets down on Israel over the weekend, destroying dozens of Jewish’ homes, Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., rushed to defend Palestinians.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists fired hundreds of rockets at civilian targets in Israel from Gaza this weekend.
But instead of condemning the violent acts, Omar blamed Israel for the loss of Palestinian lives within Gaza — lives that were lost because some of the rockets Hamas fired fell short, killing several and injuring dozens more:
How many more protesters must be shot, rockets must be fired, and little kids must be killed until the endless cycle of violence ends?
The status quo of occupation and humanitarian crisis in Gaza is unsustainable. Only real justice can bring about security and lasting peace.

Gaza hasn’t been occupied by Israel in years: The Palestinians in Gaza elected Hamas after booting out the Palestinian Authority (PA).
After the New York Times published an article with a headline recounting the exchange of attacks between Israel and Hamas, Tlaib slammed the newspaper for inaccurately framing the story and said Israelis — not the radical terrorists — are to blame for Palestinian deaths:
When will the world stop dehumanizing our Palestinian people who just want to be free? Headlines like this & framing it in this way just feeds into the continued lack of responsibility on Israel who unjustly oppress & target Palestinian children and families. #FreePalestine https://t.co/p3X3j8WtwM

More than 600 rockets were fired into Israel over the weekend, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Though most were intercepted by the country’s defense “Iron Dome” defense system, at least four Israelis were killed and dozens of homes were destroyed in the attacks.
