Terrorists Slaughter 235 in Egypt at Mosque

(CNS News) Terrorists attacked a mosque in the Egyptian city of Bir al-Abed, killing at least 235 people, as reported by the BBC.

The attack came during a Friday prayer service and was directed at a mosque in a town that sits on the road that runs from the Nile Delta to the Gaza Strip.

“Witnesses say the al-Rawda mosque in the town of Bir al-Abed, near al-Arish, was targeted during Friday prayers.

“It is the deadliest attack of its kind since an Islamist insurgency in the peninsula was stepped up in 2013.

“Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisis has held emergency talks with securty officials to decide how to respond.”
