Pocahontas Goes on Twitter Rampage over Fox News Townhall Invitation

‘Fox News is a hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists…’

(Kaylee McGhee, Liberty Headlines) While other Democrats are flocking to Fox News for additional coverage, presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., turned down an invitation to appear on the channel for a town hall on Tuesday, using Twitter to attack the right-leaning network and its millions of viewers as hatemongers.

Fox News has invited several key 2020 Democrats to appear on the network after the Democratic National Convention blacklisted the network from hosting any of its primary debates.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., was the first to appear in a town hall, and after his success, several other Democrats agreed to work with Fox as well.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., appeared on a Fox town hall recently; and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-NY, are scheduled to appear soon as well.

Warren continued her rant about the network on Twitter after receiving an invitation, saying she didn’t want to boost Fox News’s credibility or revenue.

“It’s designed to turn us against each other, rising life and death consequences, to provide corruption that’s rotting our government and hollowing out or middle class,” Warren said of the channel.

“Fox News is welcome to come to my events just like any other outlet,” Warren continued. “But a Fox News town hall adds money to the hate-for-profit machine. To which I say: hard pass.”
