Pelosi Tells Calif. Republicans to Leave State if They Support Tax Bill

‘This is the end of the world…’

(Daily Caller News Foundation) House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi suggested California Republicans who support the recently passed GOP tax bill don’t belong living in the state, in a tweet blasting lawmakers Tuesday morning.

Pelosi referenced a quote from California Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown, which called the tax bill “evil in the extreme” and told Republican’s that their “ideology doesn’t come first.”

“I want every single California Republican to understand this. Your ideology doesn’t come first. Your party doesn’t come first. The PEOPLE come first,” Pelosi said. “If you fail to recognize that, you don’t belong here.”

Pelosi’s tweet comes as many Democrats are upset that Senate Republican’s passed a massive tax reform bill Friday evening.

The house minority leader claimed Monday the Republican tax bill is the end of the world. Calling the bill “armageddon,” Pelosi said, “there’s really a very hard way to come back from this.”

“This is the end of the world. The debate on health care is live or death, this is armageddon.

“This is a very big deal. Because, you know why? There’s really a very hard way to come back from this,” Pelosi told reporters on Capitol Hill Monday.

Jerry Brown and Pelosi have no problem “forcing ideology” on the state, or nation, when they are in power. Jerry Brown is in power currently and he doesn’t mind forcing the state of California to adopt sanctuary state policies, or pass climate change legislation, or as recently enacted, add another twelve cents per gallon tax on a population that already has the highest gas taxes, and prices, in the nation. I suppose I could call that evil, but just plain “stupid” is a better description of both of them.

    • Lmcyber

Jerry Brown’s policies that are based on FACTS, and his policies have brought has significantly improved California since he had been in office. California is running a 11-15 Billion dollar surplus, and is the 5th largest economy in the WORLD!

There is NO EMPIRICAL HISTORICAL DATA to support trickle down economics. This tax bill will spur the growth of a new level of poverty the likes this country has NEVER SEEN. We will now see families living on the streets as homeless, jobs will decrease, individuals will be paying more in taxes just to support the ultra billionaires. This tax bill is NOT GOOD for the majority in this country. Between automation and a tax policy that encourages and provides incentives for corporations to send their companies and jobs outside the US. Don’t think for one moment that this tax bill will raise wages and salaries, will promote growth and will create jobs as we now have a 6.5 million surplus of skilled jobs in a zero unemployment environment.

Just this morning trump and the republicans talked about their newest focus to get rid of things such as unemployment insurance, food stamps, and welfare for the most vulnerable in our society which are mostly women, children, seniors and the disabled. Don’t ever pretend that you believe in any God or religion when you support these pagan policies. Shame on republicans who believe in party and power over country . Same thing can be said of people who will vote for a pedophile who exerted his power over and above the rights of children who were assaulted by this pedophile. Shame on Alabama who has stained their state forever!

      • Steven Stinson

Whoa! Partner, get down off that high horse (unicorn) Just who is supposed to pay for all these social programs you think is the governments responsibility? It might pleasure you to know that excessive taxes at any level is excessive power. Charity should come from the individual not from a government hand our that was obviously earned by another person’s hard work. Clearly people should be able to keep their own money for their family. Government needs to get out of the welfare business. Welfare is better when it comes from non-profit organizations. Government handouts are in large part, a way to buy votes. Ultimately cheap votes to gain political power. Democrats biggest goal.

        • Lmcyber

See the stupidity of you arguments is so short sighted. First of all, why should I have to pay for the wealthy’s tax cuts, when we all work just as hard for their companies, when 93% of the wealth in this country is owned by 400 families. That is your upper less than 1%. That is not in any way fair for economic equality in this country. The rest of us, 99%, share 7% of the rest of the resources.

Secondly, this is a consumer economy, we know that. Close to 15% of America lives in poverty as of 2015. That is 43 Million people. As of 2013, child poverty reached record high levels in the US with 16.7 million children living in food insecure households. 47 Million Americans depend on food banks.

Of the 19 OECD nations, the USA has the highest rate of income disparity and poverty other than Mexico and Turkey. We rank 17 out of 19 in ALL DEVELOPED COUNTRIES. We are the wealthiest country in the world and that is how we treat our children, women and seniors, who most of these millions are. The most recent census data shows that half the population qualifies as poor or low income, with one in five Millennials living in poverty.

I don’t think you realize how bad poverty is in this country. If we do not take of our most vulnerable, the drain on society will be enormous. There is no amount of charity that can ever take care of the poverty in this country. This country’s economy will come to a screeching halt if we continue to let this happen to our people. Once it does, we may never be able to pick this country back up again.

The most prosperous time in America was in the 1950’s, 1960’s, and that is when income inequality was not as bad. The taxes were significantly more progressive, and we were able to build a large middle class. The trend we are walking down now is the middle class is disappearing, the resources are consistently being transferred to the very wealthy. And more and more of us will slip in to poverty. This last tax bill will assure that our seniors who 16%, probably more, live in poverty. That will increase on seniors, strictly because of medical insurance costs for those in the 50-64 age group, who are not yet on Medicare. And Republicans want to get rid of Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

So, in answer to your question, if you haven’t figured it out yet, is that poverty will drag a society, even America into a third world status. And if people like you continue with your attitudes, you and/or your children could easily end up in extreme poverty, especially if we lose more massive jobs to automation, which is already a foregone conclusion. The next step for many countries is to provide a living stipend. That is already being considered in many countries. A country only does as well as its most poor members.

          • begroeg

What personal sacrifice did you make for your fellow man today?
Never mind, I already know the answer to that question.

l’il miss cyber is a born-and-bred Libbie goose-stepping her way to the EBT bank. Pay her no mind, she’s not even sure what gender she is, day by day. So confused…

          • SkyGunner

Me too, Naval. Is it contagious, or from listening to Pelosi trying to get a lucid sentence out?

          • John

If you read or listen carefully to Pelosi’s grammar, you might notice that she may have failed grade school English. It’s clearer that she failed high school logic.

          • Steven Stinson

So what do you suggest? Maybe all the wealthy hard working people should just give their money to the less fortunate whether they deserve it or not. Communism has proved to not work. The argument that people should not depend on the government for their livelihood is not stupid, in fact, what is stupid is to allow a population to become dependent upon a government like the German people did in the 1930’s and 40’s. That actually turned out to be horrific. America offers several opportunities to rise above poor if you work for it. Solution: Get taxpayer offered education get employment earn your own way make your community a better place. It’s not that hard to be a productive member of society instead of a burden.

          • Dave

“From each according to his ability to produce based upon some political minion’s determination; to each according to what that same minion feel you need to survive another day of production. “Arbeit macht frei” “work sets you free”. When we have used you up and spit you out, the fruit of your labors will be taken by the state and given to those who have earned nothing.

          • Lmcyber

Steven, there is not and never has been an instance of a completely free market system that has ever existed. Do you know why? Because it doesn’t work. Corporate has one goal and that is pure profit. The best systems in history is a mix of capitalistic and socialistic systems. Yes, you have to have regulations, but smart regulations, but not no regulations.

And I disagree with you. If you are born into poverty and are only allowed the bottom level of education, and are a different color skin, and if your parents do not have the time because they are working 2 or 3 jobs to come home and help kids with homework, or if you go to school with an empty stomach and can’t learn, or if your parents cannot afford the computer you need or someone to teach you how to use the software, or , or , or. It goes on and on. There are many kids that are at a huge disadvantage even before they get into middle school. If you are labeled as a slow learner early in life, because you are not getting the support, because parents are working 2 or 3 jobs, you are already way behind and most likely will never be able to catch up. This is what poverty is all about. I would suggest that everyone on here go to an impoverished district and look at how kids are living.
And this is only dealing with the beginning of life. I guarantee you that you are a white male that was brought up in a blue collar household, at a time when your father could still make a living without a college education, and he was able to put food on the table and at least offer some form of higher education to his children. Is that about right? That is not how life is now. You can’t make anymore than minimum wage without some form of higher education, college or trade school. If you don’t have access to that, you will be in poverty the rest of your life, and will bring another set of children up in the same circumstances. And if you are a minority, it is much, much worse. That is reality.

Do you know what it costs to get into a public college, or how high your grades and SAT scores have to be, to even be admitted? Even for a bright kid who is brought up in poverty, that is impossible feat. There is no such thing as taxpayer funded education anymore. There are loans, under strict scrutiny, and then it is very difficult for these kids to pay off $50- $60K of loans, that is if you family happens to qualify.

Life is not black or white. It is shades of gray. There is not either – or. There is adjustment, but certainly not cornering the resources in a country, by 95% in 400 families. Taxes in the 40-‘s through the 70’s were approximately 70-90% for the wealthy. That number is excessive, but taking away the estate tax is also excessive the other way. So, no you are wrong. It is very difficult being a productive member of society in 2017.

          • Gerry Costa

Working 2 or 3 jobs OR laying around doing drugs, father runs off to knock up another female, with generations depending on the government — not because they have to but because they want to . Don’t tell me I’m wrong because I have seen it too many times.

          • Lmcyber

You are wrong!! Most people in this country are hard working individuals who want to raise their families, put food on the table and educate their kids, and maybe have a little left over to go on a family vacation once in awhile. That is the vast majority who live in this country. Are there some who might take advantage of the system? Yes, but they are white, and minorities, all races, not just one race or two race. There are some, all equally from various backgrounds who do take advantage of the system. I do not like people who say it is only minorities, because that is not true.

But there are also plenty of the very wealthy who actually cost this country more through cheating the system, and corporate welfare. There is much less loss from those at the bottom than from those at the top.

          • Gerry Costa

I’m not wrong !!!! No where in my post did I say “minorities only” — typical libtard — only reads and sees what you want to see or read or believe. If your cali-gay-fornia is so high and mighty why are you asking for Federal Funding with your fires — why don’t all your moonbeams, hollyweird elites and illegals take care of the expenses !!!!!!!! This country would be better off if your piece of crap state did sink into the Pacific.

          • mioahu

That’s why we need to get rid of the department of education, of the teacher unions, attach the money to the child not to the school, and bring back competition between schools. That’s how you improve education. And for FACTS, i know that’s hard for leftists, but the US already spends the SECOND HIGHEST amount per child in public education in the world. You know why it fails ? Because it’s socialized, anything the left touches it destroys ! Because of lack of personal responsibility, because of lack of fathers in the black family, because of lousy teachers that can’t be fired, because of staff for diversity training, because of no personal consequences for the administration when your scool fails ! All losers go to college to graduate in some sort of social sciences crap and then work at mcdonalds cause they have no jobs, and complain about loans … learn a trade ! Bring back shop in highschool. Teach them to weld, not women and gender studies ! That’s how America was made. But leftists like you think it all comes from the state ! Grow up !

          • Patti Fisk

Key to finding a job: don’t skip classes in school…finish high school and pay attention and take notes. Get a diploma Take advantage of lesser expensive city college classes and buy used books on eBay. Take a class in a trade. Dont waste money on 4 year degree until you can pay for it yourself.

          • Steven Stinson

One more time your guess is off the mark. Of course I am a white male (see picture). And no I was raised in a very dysfunctional home with several forms of abuse. Actually school was a sanctuary. I was labelled as a slow learner, most likely a result of some form of hyper active condition and we were very poor. Clearly some people have a tougher struggle than others. And like you they start comming coming up with the same excuses for failure and start expecting some sort of government handout. I know where I live it only takes a high school diploma or GED to go to community fill with the offering of a Pell Grant that actually makes college attainable for anyone with even a modest amount of personal effort. I think some like to demonize the wealthy just because they are successful, wrong message, everyone should strive to be successful. Just because you demonize the wealthy and complain about the condition of the poor does not mean you have become self-actualized. Actually your narratives lead me to think you’re somewhat self-absorbed. Please understand if this country continues to Molly Cottle it’s citizens we will never reach our potetial.

          • Lmcyber

I don’t demonize the wealthy at all. I demonize the politicians who have turned our democracy over to the ultra wealthy. That is who I demonize. BTW, it is very hard to get a Pell grant anymore, as avg pell grant is awarded to families who make less than $15 – $20K a year. That is extremely low, so most can never get a pell grant.

No, I am not self absorbed, but I do read. All I am doing is relaying factual information, which in 2017 is in low demand, and the statements I make are based on facts, not alternative facts. We have a huge problem in this country, and it is caused by politicians who are bought and paid for by special interests, lobbyists and the very wealthy. We are probably for the same things, but is defined from different directions.

Did you not look at the statistics for poverty I gave out? At least half of this country lives in very low income or poverty status. There is your drain, and if we don’t correct the inequality issue in this country, then we are headed for third world status. i have never suggested to give money away. I am suggesting there should be a lot of self help programs, such as job training, forcing higher wages, raising minimum wages, etc. but we have given up on that kind of help. So, politicians come in and take from the middle class and give to a very few, instead of paying attention to the needs of the masses.

          • Kathryn Jordan

How right you are. I also demonize the politicians who have turned our democracy over to the ultra wealthy. I don’t like the way that corporations, lobbyists, the ultra wealthy and special interests control our politicians. It’s like instead of “robbing from the rich and giving to the poor” has been reversed to “robbing from the poor and give to the rich”. I am tired of our politicians robbing from the poor.

          • America1st

The success of Capitalism along with the Great American Dream (the belief that every individual has the Opportunity to achieve their dreams and provide a better life for their family through hard work, individual responsibility, and God’s blessings) is what separates the USA from every country in world history.

          • SkyGunner

Steven. I’ve asked these leftist advocates to find books, archival film, anything that shows the road Germany followed from the days Hitler attended a beer hall Putsch to May, 1945. Place their notes from that, next to notes made of American politics from that sad day in Dallas, to present. Also place notes taken about how nazis were welcomed in the Middle East during WW II. Hitler was nearly deified by the muslims and his political ravings turned into dogma they still adhere to today. Anyway, comparing Germany’s rise to socialism before WW II, next to demnazis from prez Johnson rise to power, to me, look identical to ultimate goals, methods to get there and anywhere you want to compare on the list. You would think, showing intelligent people facts in black and white, things would change. NOT HAPPENING!!

          • Steven Stinson

Very good points Skygunner, very disturbing though! I find it amazing how blind some are. Thanks for your post very well written.

I am not changing minds. With people like you, I am just pointing out how uneducated and ignorant you are. But, that is the way you like it, isn’t it? duhhh…..

Want me to point you to the other threads where you showed how ignorant and uneducated you are ? Leftism is the scourge of the earth. No leftist society EVER survived, You only bring misery to people. Communism killed more people than ANYTHING else in this world. Go away.

Hahaha, Ginger is right on. what planet are you on. There are no morals taught anymore !!!

          • Ginger Firestone

I agree with a lot you said, but back then, most women didn’t “have” to work to make ends meet. Husbands went out to work and the wife was able to work inside the home and do charity work and be social, raise kids that knew right from wrong and kept the faith. There were very few one parent homes. Most women waited til marriage to get pregnant. Morals were taught not only at home, but in the school also. BS like we see today in our schools (including the teachers) would never have been tolerated. Kids were in school to learn “subjects”, get a real education (not try to change history) not be brain washed to a political agenda.

          • Robert Pokriefka

I wish there were more out there like you. Well said. We are coming off of the most unGodly 8 years that we have seen. Worse than the 60s I would even say. But, thankfully, God did give us yet another chance by defeating Hypocrilly!

            Rolpho,
            Thank you!

Had this country not been forced to give handouts to the influx of these free-loaders, (and 35% of the atrocious crimes in this country are committed by these foreigners. They have no “ties that bind” them to love this country the way we do. They have not served in the armed forces, paid taxes, had businesses, and most have no families here. They love the hand-outs given them by B. Insane Obuma, as they don’t have to work for it. I am a disabled veteran, and I don’t have a lot of money, but….I was in WalMart yesterday, and watched 3 (men) of these “New Democrapic voters”, as they loaded 3 buggies down with stuff, as they spoke something in Spanish, while laughing and pushing their buggies with relatively splendid fervor. As I rang up my 2 boxes of cereal, a few lunchables (on sale for $1.97), and a box of cookies (on sale), I looked in my wallet to see if I could get a burger on the way home.
Realizing I didn’t have enough, I sighed, and knew I would have to go back and get milk, so I could eat my cereal for dinner. As I swiped my credit card for my purchases, I watched them pull out the little plastic card given them by my government, and swipe it for their groceries.
I then realized that, though I served my country and paid taxes for all of my life, these 3 men had an easier road to travel, although they are foreigners.
BUT, I have all of the faith and confidence in Mr Trump, that he will do the best he can for those of us who watch Fox news, knowing that the large media constantly spews lies, fake news reports, and try to damage his reputation as much as possible.
I’m just saying, Obuma’s done his job well. He has done his best to rip the constitution to shreds and now, Americans have to bear a burden that we shouldn’t have to. This country could do very well if not for paying billions, maybe trillions to feed, house, and educate (even to college) people that don’t even appreciate all that’s been given to them freely. They are the biggest strain on a system that was almost completely destroyed by the last 8 years, almost doubling the deficit.
Thanks for nothing, but I’m going to see Mr Trump all the way. I finally have faith in this country for the first time in years.

          • Judy Henscheid-Stone

Well said and I bet most Americans feel the same way. Thanks for your service and I am a proud grandmother of a 25 year old Army man.

Thanks for your service, Joe Dixon.
            Semper Fidelis

          • Lmcyber

Joe, I wanted to rectify a statement you said about who causes the criminal activities in this country. According to the latest information from Homeland Security and other Immigrant data bases, immigrants to the US are significantly less likely than native born to be incarcerated. They found that 1.6% of immigrant males, aged 18-39 are incarcerated, compared to 3.3% of the native born.

If you actually look at the facts and statistics, you will find that much of what you are quoting is not factual and is actually due to an inherent level of discrimination in this country.

In well documented studies, they found in regard to undocumented, that illegal immigrants are 44% less likely to be incarcerated than natives, and legal immigrants are 69% less likely to be incarcerated than native born. In fact, natives are more represented in the prison population than both legal and illegal immigrants. So, your statement of 35% of the crimes are caused by immigrants legal or not is completely false.

          • Joe Dixon

Well, I suppose that information is like the Internet and the media. Anyone can round up all types of information and call it factual. But… if you take the percentage of the “new voters” and compare that to the amount of crimes committed, especially violent crimes, the percentage works out to be around 35%. And..these new voters make it clear in MANY situations that were recorded, that they have a hatred for this country by burning the American flag, giving the middle finger, attacking, even molesting, raping, killing, stealing, protesting for shariah law, etc. etc.
There are extremely huge numbers of these people that have a history of violence, but is found only after they are caught.
What is most sickening and irritating, is how they seem to flaunt their new-found “wealth” from this country. I have seen large numbers that push grocery carts full of food and other items and swipe their plastic “get everything for free” card and leave with more groceries than they can pack in the car. It is a drain on the hard-working American tax-payers, and I’m done. I knew that you had your opinion and it is in cement. I will not bother you again with mine. I’m extremely irritated by all of this, and don’t understand how or why this evil is allowed. They are constantly protesting our way of life and even imposing their “religion” (cult) on us as Christians. I believe, if allowed, there will be so many of them, and their “rights” will overcome ours, and they will be allowed to behead us as the Islam community is doing over there.
Again, I bid you farewell, and will not post, nor go to your site again.

          • Robert Pokriefka

But this is what the Left does. Finds a time that supports their agendas (global warming ring a bell) and tells us how great it was. But, as you point out, they all fought everything about that time (black America, women, etc). And they want us to pay 80% in taxes now????

            Good post Rolpho!

          • Jerry Hughes

Every one understands what the liberal dem bloodsuckers are doing, even you mealy mouthed liars.
They buy votes with the money they stole from the citizens and use it to fund the handouts they buy votes with.

          • Dave T

Yup! Funny how the negative Nellies don’t have a damn thing to say about the SPENDING by our losers in Congress. There is ample revenue now, taxes are already oppressive and these dopes are having a cow because they’re gonna have to cut their spending, and they have no idea how. Now their stupidity will stick out like a goiter. TERM LIMITS. PUT THEM ON OBAMACARE. Then watch the magical transformation.

          • Dave

During times of economic struggle, the Dems always seem to spend what they don’t have on things they don’t need rather than set examples of economic responsibility. They always want to pay for things in the future, with someone else’s money, and they don’t care because it’s not their money they spend, so they spend it on projects far more costly than the GOP could think of.
I would almost suspect that the Dems believed the time was right for a coup, after which we would become just another socialist/communist satellite, but they filed to recognize the tide was beginning to turn. The Dems are so rife with scandals that the “silent majority” were rising up in anger.

          • Kathryn Jordan

You say that Dems don’t set economic responsibility? Guess what the Republicans in Washington are not showing “economic responsibility” with this tax bill. It doesn’t help the average American; just the top 1%. Try putting some blame on the Republican Party as well.

Simply put, poverty is the result of the kind of government you advocate.
Also, after reading your massive number of comments and their content, I am left with the impression that you are still young, a bit confused, and probably unemployed. I hope you can turn your life around.

          • Lmcyber

Wrong again!! I have owned and ran 3 companies, employed many, all successful, and still have a hi tech company. I have not worked for anyone since I was in college. Made my own way, with my own skill set! One thing I do know is business.

          • mioahu

Thank you CAPITALISM !!!! Helped you succeed despite your nature, isn’t that a great system. All your leftist policies put unnecessary burdens and regulations on people, and in the end lead to an utopian society that cannot sustain itself. USSR, NoKo, Cuba, the eastern Block, Afghanistan, need I say more ? Every leftist policy that’s enacted brings us one step closer to that. So we must fight any leftist policy and keep america from sliding into the leftist pit. You can discuss details of a tax bill or of a policy all you want, the big picture is the same . STOP LEFTISM, MAGA

          • Lmcyber

We are not a leftist country. We haven’t been anywhere near a leftist country. We are now an oligarchy, if not a complete fascist society. The morals of the right have moved this country into exactly like Putin’s Russia. We are not anywhere near the Scandinavian countries, which abhor a fascist philosophy. Most people who live in more progressive countries are much happier people and live in harmony with each other. There is still capitalism, but not this fascist society we have in the US, which is a society that is completely run by a very small number of wealthy who have taken over the political systems and completely determine your freedoms, your lack of jobs, your religious freedoms, etc. etc. We are completely owned by less than 400 families in the US, and this latest tax bill, just gave them a significant more power. We are no longer a democracy, much less a republic. We are an oligarchy that is significantly close to an authoritarian nationalistic fascist society.

          • mioahu

We are not, yet. You are probably an good at heart, albeit VERY MISLED AND CONFUSED liberal. The days of liberalism are over. Your democratic liberal party has shifted left, and that’s one of the reasons you are losing politically, because we are not a leftist country !
The ideals of the liberals of the previous century now align with conservatism. If you listen to a JFK speech, you would think he is a white supremacist according to todays leftist definitions. The liberal party has left you behind, as it is moving into leftist territory. The colleges, news organizations, schools, unions, feminist and minorities movements, the arts, hollywood, they are all leftist, don’t fool yourself.
The only nazi like behavior comes form…..ANTIFA :-)…
So I challenge you to show me how the US society is fascist. You people just rape language, so that it loses it’s real meaning. Stupid leftist talking points !

          • Bob Hills

            Such a horseshit generator.

          • Eddie

More lies! Why do you make so much stuff up, do you dream this….I don’t even see the garbage you are spewing on the most liberal sites.

          • Bimu

Interesting how your “facts” are from the Obama Democratic years. Merry Christmas !!! Funny how our system is deplete of free markets and enterprise but full of government overreach and loss of freedom.

          • TOB46

In the 50’s and 60’s people were a lot more self reliant. Too many “victims” today who believe they are entitled to other peoples money.

          • Strangerinastangeland

Until recently, most of the developed world has not been burdened with between 15-30 million illiterate illegal aliens. This tends to skew the graph. A major problem for the poor in this country is obesity. Nough said.

          • Ginger Firestone

What makes you think that this country was founded on fair economic equality?
Secondly, take out the refugees and illegals that are here without pulling their own weight and you will have a smaller America living in poverty. Now, let’s take on those “families” – yeah, a one parent household is going to have more problems than one with the traditional family of a mom and dad to share the load. Families were much better off before WWII – divorce was less, pregnancy without marriage was less also and no abortion to make it all go away. As to those children, women and seniors – advice: stop having children out of wedlock and maybe those children and women will fair better in life. Seniors have been told over and over their whole lives about saving up for their retirement years and yet, you still see the youth of today blowing their paychecks each and every month instead of investing so they have a nest egg and not just rely on social security, which was never meant to support the senior, just keep them out of the poverty level. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY – learn the term, then work it out for yourselves. Not the government’s job to support you – it’s yours and yours alone.

          • Lmcyber

Now that is a self absorbed answer. You are so far off from reality. Let me guess. You live in a rural area right in the middle of the country. You have never lived in a big city. You probably have never had a career, and you think your sugar daddy(hubby) job is to take care of you. Am I right?

I am not even going to touch half the BS in your comment, but I will say one thing. There are people in this country who worked their butts off all their lives and then one irresponsible admin came around and caused a massive recession that millions in this country lost everything through no fault of their own, rather the fault of a politicians choices. That administration destroyed a lot of people’s lives. Many of those people were in their 50’s and 60’s. Now how could you possibly believe that it was those people’s fault that they lost everything they had worked and saved for?? You really have no idea about the challenges that people have gone through. It isn’t that they are lazy or through some fault of their own. It happened. S–t happens, that and the fact that a member of the family got sick and couldn’t continue working for a living, or a number of other issues that can cause people to end up in poverty. You are being very judgmental and it is a known FACT, that most homeless are middle class people that had something happen to them, through no fault of their own.

So, if you would have your druthers, you would let a 100 million people die, than invest in social Security or Medicare or Medicaid. Is that about right?

          • Ginger Firestone

You are so far off that it’s a joke. I grew up in Los Angeles proper. Middle of the city. After marriage we were able to buy a house in the suburbs. I’ve had a couple of careers, but I was fortunate enough (as were just everyone else we knew) to be able to be a stay at home wife and mother until my kids were older. I ran a couple of businesses.

Yes, there were people who suffered thru no fault of their own – but not everyone. I don’t consider social security or medicare a welfare program since we are forced to pay into it and thus we are just getting back on an investment we were forced into purchasing. The program is badly run. Had the government put each person’s contributions into an annuity, not only would just about everyone come out with more monthly income, but the left over upon their death would go to their heirs (which Uncle Sam is not). I lived thru the recession, more than one I might add. Yes, because of social security, there is disability and I also know that it used to be that if a family member got into financial trouble, the rest of their family all gathered around to help them out, as well as the churches. As to that FACT about most homeless being middle class people, I’d sure like to know where you get that information. I agree, some of them are, but not most. As to 100 million people dying – that’s another figure I challenge you on. There was the dust bowl, before all the welfare plans and while I have no doubt that some people died, I think you will find that the families found ways to get thru the worse of times. It’s the welfare plans that have actually destroyed families. No need to stay together and figure out a way, no, let’s encourage young girls who want to move out from under their parent’s home to get pregnant and then let the government take care of them. You now have generations of welfare takers – they don’t even see a need to work; you want to say that all those people are just down on their luck? I can see it for a short period of time, but I think there should be limits – it’s not a career. I worked as a child advocate and saw the reality – have you? I’m going to take a guess at you now. You are a liberal who thinks socialism (or communism) is the way our country should be run, where everyone has the same. Equality doesn’t mean equal results, it means equal opportunity and we all have that. We have free schooling, which allows us to be educated and from there you make your choices. As to college, well, it’s not for everyone and in many careers not even needed. Bad choices mean bad results. I lost 80% of my portfolio during the last crash. Yep, I moaned about it, but then I went about earning all over again and yes, I am a senior citizen. You think the government should support people, I don’t. Read the constitution, it wasn’t set up to do that. People used to help one another, not rely on the government. Now, in the cities, a lot of people don’t even know their neighbors. Kids don’t go outside to play, they sit inside and are attached to the internet. They make play dates instead of just going outside to play and see if their friends can come out to play with them if they aren’t already out there. Today everyone is offended by everything and think they have the right not to be offended. Please, we have gone overboard in the lack of common sense. You want to talk about crazy? We have illegals and refugees demanding things and we support a lot of them. Used to be to come to the USA, you had to have a sponsor who would be financially responsible for you until you could get on your feet – the tax payers didn’t have to do that. You also had to learn the language and assimilate into our culture. We didn’t change our ways to make them more comfortable. If they don’t want to change to adapt to our culture they shouldn’t be here. If the illegals who go around waving their homeland flags think their homeland is so great, they should go back without a deportation demand. If these illegals contribute so greatly , then maybe they should go back and contribute to their own countries to make them better. Yes, I am judgmental – I’ve lived thru many decades and seen what different administrations have brought this country to. I’ve also seen how we keep getting farther and farther away from the intent of our founding fathers. Our forefathers wanted freedom – with freedom comes responsibility. We were set up as a republic; small government, big on personal responsibility. Some changes have been good, and some have been a keg of worms. The federal government has become a power hungry animal. So much in the budget that they have no right to be in. Give the states back the power they are supposed to have and let each state support and control themselves. Keep the feds doing what they are supposed to be doing – supporting the constitution, protecting our borders and controlling the military that is in place to protect us and our allies..

          • Gene F Miller

If you do not have accurate facts and figures it does not matter to the liberal. They make them up as they go. Lmcyber not only makes up his/her own facts she/he forgets that the top 1% of the money makers pay 70 5 of all of the tax revenue.

          • America1st

In 1960 about 70% of black homes were tow parent homes. Welfare requirements encouraged single parent households. Today over 70% of black households have single (primarily female with no consistent male presence.) Futthermore, in inner city areas, blacks who actually pursue an education are chastised by their peers as being “Uncle Toms.” As a result 50-70% of young black males are unemployed with no marketable skills.

The income gap between the top 10% and the rest widened at a much faster pace under the Obama administration. The middle class declined and people in poverty increased by every measurement under Obama.

Obama declared war on all businesses and did everything he could to regulate them out of business. Obamacare was passed under the pretense of giving healthcare to 30 million without health insurance coverage. With Obamacare we have 40 million without healthcare not counting those that pay for Obamacare but can’t afford to use it. Health costs have increased dramatically under Obamacare. Obamacare has NO provisions to contain or lower costs and every incentive to increase costs.

          • James A. Walker

Why do you ignore the “fact” that the inept one was POTUS when poverty, crime, racism increased,?

          • Advocate

Maybe you should live in France, that is what you want to make the USA, a socialist country? Terrible

          • Kelley Posey

Your entire litany of issues lies with the Obama excuse ridden administration. Your poverty levels of 2013, public welfare and unemployment calamities of 2015 and on, and the social program failures of 2008 to 2016 were the result of a totally clueless, racist, jihadist Obama concerned more with bringing jihadists and illegals to the US for votes and sending billions of funds illegally to Iran, the PLO, and Hezzbollah than with funding programs for the poor and the needy. If you ran businesses, you should know that the rush of businesses from Calif to Nevada and other states is outrunning the illegals from Mexico, the Middle East and Asia to the Sacramento welfare lines. If Calif is awash with cash, why do they need federal assistance for the fires, or the water supply lines, or the Oroville dam or any other highway or transportation expenses. Maybe the state income tax should go to 20% and tax on businesses to 30%. After federal and state taxes that exceed 75%, you can live on cat food. It would probably improve your DNA.

          • Maryann Altobelli

Obama already brought to bankruptcy with all his liberal policies.

          • Shelba J. Holmes

Hogwash. The more this country participates n a welfare state the poorer the masses are. It is a sad truth that millions of people are content to try to live on a government handout rather than get out there and prepare themselves for a job. The welfare state has produced a system where 70 percent of the children of black women are born into a one parent hme and the grand majority of them live on welfare. This country is paying women to have children that those women have no intention of preparing themselves to provide for those children outside of the welfare system. This sick and tragic situation is a direct result of Democrats buying votes through the process/promise of paying people to stay poor and reproduce. Welfare needs to have a major cutback and the people on welfare should be forced to participate in a jobs program so that they can get off welfare. About 47% of the people in this country are now on some sort of government assistance – including illegals. When 50% of the people in this country are financing the othr 50& there is going to be a sure enough gnashing of teety for all.

You are not financing the wealthy in this country. You are being subsidized by the wealthy in this country who pay the grand majority of the taxes. You had better kiss the feet of the wealthy you silly fool. If the wealthy were not in this country you would be paying through your yingyang taxes that you never even thought of yet.

Try to get your facts straight.

          • Petethepilot

Oh my goodness. 50 thru the 60s were good. I lived through that period it was much worse than today! The main reason that LBJ got his great society programs was how bad things were. He was from the hill county of Texas to a family that was dirt poor. He knew life was so bad and he wanted to change life for Americans. My father in law sold him his first set of long pants in that same hill county. Now the Great Society programs meant well but has gone bad, that is why even Bill Clinton knew that and tried to change it because of the fraud, waste, and abuse of the system. Please next time do your homework, not the Inaccurate news or history you have studied. I met President Johnson we went to the same college just decades apart. For all his short comings he was a good man. Met him a year before he died. No doubt he knew in the 70s that his programs were not going in the way he wanted.

        • SkyGunner

You’re right Steven. The signers of our Constitution read the demnazi in our future. Originally the only money we owed our feds was, what we felt like giving them, not what the demnazis decided we owed them for saving us from unscrupulous politicians(anyone who doesn’t agree with them). And, the more the demnazis screw over us, the more the grateful other nations adequately compensate them. The former Sec. of State can now open her own Worid Bank after her arduous work for them!!

          • Steven Stinson

Outstanding points of view and insights,
            Thanks Skygunner

On target as always. My family in CA tells me things there are the worst they have seen in many decades. Reagan saved the state and it has gone south for the winter since. Nice state to fly over but not land in!

          • Erik V Johnson

YES Pres Reagan DID Save This State…but…When He Knocked Down the Berlin Wall and Ended The Cold War…He Singlehandedly LAIDED OFF Some 280,000 Aero Space People, Just in Ca. Alone, in One Swipe ( including Me…I was a Aero Space Designer ) and I Became HOMELESS for 12 yrs bcuz I Was Labeled ” OVER-QUALIFIED “

I’m still waiting for Californians to enact their threatened plan to secede from the union. What a great boon for the United States that would be.

I wonder how many of those who live there realize that after CA secedes (wish it would), the Federal government will still own the national parks; and the interstate highways; and the military bases and a heck of a lot more. I look forward to saying goodbye to the whiners of the so-called “Golden State”.

          • MajorPain

They aren’t going to have enough signatures to put it on the Ballot in 2018. So the new plan is split the one state into 3 states all controlled by Democrats with Sacramento, Los Angels, and San Diego as Capitals with 4 more Democrat Senators and Split on Representatives. Just another Power Grab by the Communists in California trying to control America because all the Senator’s will be voted into office by the overwhelming majority of welfare recipients in the cities and surrounding suburbs.

          • Koaboy

No worry , they will just be fighting among themselves. That’s what
Money grabbers do. Bye bye Nancy baby !

          • Judy Henscheid-Stone

            You know us well!

          • MajorPain

Just a general assessment of what I have been reading over the past couple of Months.

          • Lmcyber

They already have enough votes to put it on the ballot and that crazy idea about breaking it up into 3 parts, was already shot down. By the way, San Diego and OC is the most conservative part of California. No. Ca is more liberal, but San Diego is getting much more liberal, now that this is not a military town as much.

          • James Hopkins

And do they realize that if they suceed from the Union that a ll the military bases will close and California will no longer be the 5th largest economy. They are dependent on the military for their revenue. Close the bases and boycott California and see what happens to them.

          • Erik V Johnson

R U Serious…What Dream World R U In…Most All Military Bases Had Already Been Closed Down in the Past 10 yrs…WE Are the 5th or 6th LARGEST Economy IN THE WORLD NOT BCUZ OF THE MILITARY but Bcuz We Have Over 90% of ALL VEGIES n WHEAT n CORN n CATTLE n OIL n NATURAL GAS…NUTS n FRUITS n FLOWERS…RED WOOD and Over 600 Types of WINE and Most of the BEER and BARLEY n HOPS and ABOUT 2 Doz MORE Things That Supply EVERY Market in the Country…Not-to-mention THE WORLD…If It Wasn’t for CA…Some 40 States Would Still be 3rd WORLD !!! We Will Have Our Own Legislation AND Govmnt and Will Have Our Own Military…NOT the Gov’mnt of the US of A. We Already have The Militia Called the CHP and the Largest Police Force in the Country…We Will Have Our Own Taxes and Our Own IRS Probably Called the CRS…Probably Our Own MONEY and That in itself Would Leave Those Some 40 States in the Dust…Our Own WALL Street etc…Bet You Didn’t Think About All That Did You…

          • James Hopkins

Go ahead and see what happens when you sucede, The naval bases will close the Air Force will close and all of the airplane plants will be forced to close along with their support businesses, oh yes and dont forget that when an earth quake destroys most of Southern California there will be no funding to help. Oh by the way there will also be an embargo where nothing can go in or come out. The stupid state of California will be devistated. They can keep the nuts and fruits that is what lives in California anyway. And I do believe that you have forgotten about Florida. They have some wonderful friut there and North Carolina and Georgia have some really good peanuts and a variety of other nuts. And for your information there is only one state that has the right to sucede from the Union and that is the great state of Texas. What needs to happen is for Jerry Brown to be arrested for aiding and abedding fugitives. I lived in California for 25+ years and I did not leave anything there I want to go back for.

          • Erik V Johnson

Oh WoW…Florida and the Other States Make Up the ” Other 10% ” And ANYONE Can Live Without Oranges and Potatoes…but…Try Living Without Wheat and Corn and 90% OF EVERYTHING ELSE and I Mean EVERYTHING ELSE…Why Central CA…Is Almost Bigger Than Florida Itself and has the Most Fertile Land in the World and Seeing How CA. Supplies 1/2 the World…I’m Sure ” They ” Will Pitch in to Help…The 2 Naval and Couple AF Bases Left in CA…BIG DEAL !!! ( and I Lived in Abilene for 6 yrs at DYESS AFB ) Told You ( if ) CA. Becomes Their OWN COUNTRY…We Will Have Our Own Military…Our Own NAVY n AF n Army etc…AND BOEING n NORTHROP n McDonald Douglas…DELCO Electronics…RATHION and Some Doz More Aircraft Designers for NASA and the WORLD WILL NEVER CLOSE !!! Why, may I ask, Would They Close…These Are Each All Multi Multi Billion $$$ Industries…Silicon Valley, Which Grosses More Than 1/2 the Country Put Together…The Heart of Just About EVERY KNOW Electronics Know to Man…Goggle…Yahoo…Hewett Packard…Micro Soft and the List Just On n On n On…Bank of America ( of CA. ) The World’s Largest Bank and CHASE…NONE Are Located in So. Calif…WON’T Let it Happen bcuz t’s Going to be THEIR COUNTRY Too !!! And a Embargo…give me a break AND WHY Would We NEED Fed Funding ? When Were Going to Be Our Own Fed and We Already Have the 12th District Where 1/2 the Country Coins Are made May Not Be Ours…But…What’s to Stop Us From Having Our Own 13th District and Our Own Currency…We manf Autos and Trucks…You Name It…Mattel…Hasbro…Goodyear…And If CA. Did Go Under…What Do You Think Would Happen to the Rest of the United States Which TOTALLY Depends on CA. for Their FOOD and Products…We have Enough Oil n Natural Gas and Production to Last CA for the Next 100 yrs !!! Things Made in CHINA Is Wash DC Fault…Not Ours and We Won’t NEED Things Made in China and I’m Sure ANY and ALL Illegals Are Going to be Put to Work ( if ) Their Going to Live in the Country of Calif bcuz Were Going to Have Our Own ICE etc bcuz the Rest of the 28 Million People Living Here Won’t Allow it !!! The ONLY Reason as to WHY The Govmnt WON’T Let CA. Become It’s Own Country is bcuz of WHAT IT WOULD BE LOSING…What Does TX Contribute to the Rest of the United States…Wouldn’t It ALSO Be Loosing the Military etc. Also…just sayin…When the Next Hurricane Hits There…Where’s IT Going to Get IT’s Fed Funding…again just sayin

          • Kathryn Jordan

My father told me about the referendum not getting enough signatures to be put onto the Ballot in 2018. I had not heard about this “new” plan. Wonder if my father and stepmother are even aware of this new plan.

          • Herb1949

If CA is so flush with cash why are they begging the federal government for money?
I notice since they had to beg for money the idea of leaving the USA went away.
Then there is this, “Less than four years after declaring California’s budget was balanced for the foreseeable future, Gov. Jerry Brown on Jan. 10 said the state is now projected to run a $1.6-billion deficit by next summer. (Jan. 10, 2017)”
Wonder how much of the deficit is because everyone that pays taxes and can, is bailing out.

          • Erik V Johnson

U Mean…How Many of the 6 or More MILLIONS of ILLEGALS !!! Heck…I Bet There’s MORE Fed Taxes Coming Out of Silicon Valley Workers, Than Most States !!! Besides…CA. Would Have It’s OWN MONEY Printed and It Would Be KEPT Here and NOT Going to the IRS, Which Would be Now the CRS and That Monies Would Be Worthless to Mexico or ANY WHERE Else in America ( just like ALL other Countries are Worthless Here ) …Where 8 out of 10 Mexicans…Illegal or Not, Send Their Earnings…Some BILLION a Month Gets Sent to Mexico Thx to B of A, Which Makes it EASY to Do…CA. Is Hurting bcuz EVERYTHING Is Bought ” On Credit ” AND Gov. Brownose FIRST Act of Legislation He Approve Was, the Multi BILLION Tax Payers $$$ ” Bullet Train ” for His RICH Friends !!!

          • Kathryn Jordan

Ain’t gonna happen. They didn’t get enough signatures to get it on the ballot for next year. My father basically told me that it was a crazy idea that was begun by some very unhappy people. Besides, it would take a congressional amendment for a state to leave the union.

          • Erik V Johnson

Wanna Know What Else Calif Will Own…90% of ALL VEGIES n WHEAT n CORN n CATTLE n OIL n NATURAL GAS…NUTS n FRUITS n FLOWERS…Over 600 Types of WINE and Most of the BEER and BARLEY n HOPS and ABOUT A Doz MORE Things That Supply EVERY Market in the Country…Not-to-mention THE WORLD…Were NOT the 6th LARGEST Economy in the WORLD for Nothing…Hell…If It Wasn’t for Calif…Some 40 States Would Still be 3rd World Country !!! AND If We Did leave This Mess and Become OUR OWN COUNTRY AND Govmnt…We Would OWN Those Things You Mentioned Because It Won’t Be Part of the USA Any More cept maybe for the Military…Which Thru Our Own Legislation We Could Make Our Own Military and BUY Back ALL the National Parks n Hywys etc.

        • Shelba J. Holmes

You are deasd on right. California is not an example for anything except decadence and excess on every front.

        • SkyGunner

Steven. The demnazis have spent nearly every dollar the working man put in social security for so many yrs. Now they want us to keep funding all the give away programs set up by the demnazis, because their cashcow has nearly been milked dry. Lm., you can’t say shame on anyone, since you’re a talking automaton for soros. Soros is spending millions of dollars trying to overthrow our government and turn us into a third world country. The. Citizens of our country don’t OWE people like you a penny! In fact, the demnazis should have to pay for the national debt, their prez ran up to 20 trillion dollars!! You say that 15% of America lives in poverty as of 2015. You just hung yourself moron. 2015 was how after many yrs after your muslim prez took office? Seems he and your party brought us up to that level, because it certainly wasn’t at 15% when he first took office. Good bye lm, you sluggard.

      • Snakeman

That’s funny, because as someone that actually LIVES is the PSROK, I know for a fact that this past years budget was over 2 billion (with a B) in deficit spending. Actually, every year, for the last decade any way has only been balanced because a “slush fund” that was set up during the Wilson administration, when budgets actually ran a surplus.

It’s also great to throw around platitudes and talking points, but when you actually examine things you find out differently. I have looked at both plans and I, who makes a bit over 40K, will end up with a few THOUSAND more this year than last year. SO HOW DOES THIS NOT HELP THE MIDDLE, OR WORKING CLASS??????

        • Lmcyber

You who makes $40k, will end up paying more money in taxes than you are currently over a 10 year period. They set it up so that the benefits would occur in 2018, thinking that will keep them in power, and you proved it. You did not look what your taxes are going to be in 2019, 2020, etc. as they will continue to go backward so much so, that your net will be more taxes paid out over a 10 year period compared to today’s tax policy.

So, in 2027, and I repeat, you will have paid more in taxes with this new bill than if they kept the policy the same as it is. They are also coming now for Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. At your salary range, I guarantee you this will have a major impact on your life. Does your employer provide you with medical benefits? If they don’t, I can’t imagine how you could afford to have medical insurance. I assume you can get Medicaid, depending on dependents, etc. at your salary. I also don’t know how old you are. If you are 55 and younger, they plan on giving a small stipend for you to go out and buy insurance. Insurance for those who are 50 and older cost a minimum of $16, 000 a year for a premium per person. How could you possibly have medical care if they take away Medicare? You can’t. Their suggested stipend would be a couple of thousand. That means at $40K, you would have to come up with an additional $14K to a pay for premiums.

I am sorry, but the road these republicans are taking us down is very dangerous and very destructive to our society. It is wrong.

Which means the only choice we have is to vote these suckers out in 2018, and 2020. Everything trump said he would help with, he is going back on his word. He said he would not touch SS, Medicare and Medicaid. He is getting rid of it, along with Food stamps, unemployment, etc.

          • begroeg

            You are hilarious! TRUMP 2020!

          • Eddie

If you make 40k, you want owe any income taxes. He, or any other republican for that matter, has not said anything about getting rid of SS, Medicare, Medicaid, foodstamps or unemployment…quit lying.

          • Dave

Trump has recognized that We the People paid into Social Security. It was an investment, NOT a benefit!! We earned the meager return we receive on that investment. The government is NOT going to shut down such programs, just as it is a lie to say conservatives want to kill the elderly.

          • Lmcyber

I’m not lying. I never lie. Just watch the string of bills coming out. Marco Rubio said so and so did the chair of appropriations in the House, Chris Stevens from Utah.

They have already talked about the plan coming from Paul Ryan. They are planning on giving a small voucher and the amount they talked about was approximately $2500 per year and the average cost of individual policies for senior in the 50-64 age group is $16,000 a year. Could you afford $13k plus? And it would be much more expensive for older seniors who could no way afford those premium amounts. Don’t believe me, look up Paul Ryan plans for Medicare. And then they want to turn over all our social security money over to Wall Street. It’s called privatizing which I will fight both of these. Then of course they will take Medicaid to nothing. This is Republicans over teaching again which will hopefully be their demise in 2018.

I assume you are also not for these changes. I don’t care if you are right or left, I do not believe in any of this and this should unite the people in this country!

          • Ginger Firestone

Now back that up with real facts – I doubt you are a tax expert and some have already been online that shows just how much a person will save – you fill out a few numbers and their spreadsheet shows how you gain. Have you actually read the bill that you are making assumptions about how much it’s going to go up? Do you have no idea of how much obamacare has gone up since it was conceived? It’s bankrupt, but don’t let facts get in the way of a good narrative. Get your facts straight before mouthing off.

          • Dave

Gee… just like your kind didn’t tell the people what ObamaCare was going to cost us. But, typical Dem, never pass up a crisis. They’re coming for Social Security, and the rest. What drivel.
The Dems were the party of slavery in the 1860s and they are no different today. Like the dictators of the world, they want everyone enslaved except the elite. The difference today is that they prefer to enslave people financially. And an IOU a vote is just as good as any other means to retain power for themselves.
How old are you? 17? (Mentally or physically?) Do your research. Dive into actual history. ObamaCare was doomed as soon as college students began realizing that they could save money by paying a fine. Dems have ruined more than they have created.
Reagan turned the state economy into a boomtown by getting rid of the regulations which were killing the state and driving business out. Nobody got laid off. No taxes were increased or added. Families were saved.

        • Lmcyber

By the way, if you look at the 2017-2018 budget, actual budget, there is a 15 Billion dollar surplus in California. There cannot be a negative, as states have to balance their budgets. So it is either deficit neutral or a surplus. CA had a surplus thanks to Jerry Brown and the Democrats.

          • Eddie

More like thanks to CA for taking advantage of illegal aliens.

          • Sharrell Burcham

So why is Ca. broke? Why were they crying so loudly over loosing fed funding if they didn’t do away with sanctuary cities? With that much surplus they could fund everything on their own.

          • Tony

Boy, are you in fantasyland! “There cannot be a negative? States have to balance their budgets?” Just look at another State controlled by Democrats – Illinois! They haven’t had a balanced budget in years and their deficits is almost 90 BILLION dollars, mostly from unfunded liabilities, which for you CA people is the money they haven’t set aside for pensions for PEOPLE, not corporations. The day of reckoning will come for those poor people when there is no money at their retirement. Watch Illinois and wait for CA to follow.

          • America1st

Please explain the California wall of $443 Billion debt.

          • Dave

Jan 10, 2017 – Less than four years after declaring California’s budget balanced for the foreseeable future, Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday said the state is projected to run a $1.6-billion deficit by next summer — a noticeable shift in the state’s fiscal stability that could worsen under federal spending cuts championed by President. This estimate come ahead of a variety of programs Gov Brown has called for. Example: CaliforniaCare medical will exceed $1T in 5 years, and require the shutting down of at least 12 social programs in order to remain viable. You can’t continue to kill business and raise taxes on the people, while paying PERS (Public Employees Retirement System) members considerably more after retirement than earned during productive years, and not financially collapse.

      • begroeg

Nobody really cares what you think. Get over yourself lunatic!

      • gvette

I’ll bring something up guess you don’t seem to know. Your industrys are leave CA, and going to Texas. Now the funny part. Your joke of a state, now has almost a trillion dollars of unfunded debt. LOL..keep believing your own lies. You, and Moonbeam are a joke!

      • Mark Thomas

Hey, I would like to invite you search Youtube, type “Creepy Joe Biden” and then we can discuss pedophilia.

      • Jerry Hughes

It’s too bad they didn’t cut the amount of state taxes that you can force on tax payers there, you liberal compost heaps would be starving in 5 years.

        • Dave

          We did it before
and we can do it again!

You’re delusional. Better stop taking your drugs. All give away programs need a serious overhaul. I’m sick of you people bleeding the system! Get a job and contribute to society instead of dragging everyone else down. “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.” Remember That?

      • Btty

Oh my, there for a minute I thought you were talking about Conyers. You do realize he’s one of yours right? There is NO evidence of Judge Moore doing anything like what he is accused of 40 years after the fact. You have a real problem with facts don’t you? All i have to know is Gloria Allred is the attorney for some of them. She’s a bottom feeder if there ever was one!

      • Gee EM

You’re psychotic! Marxism is alive and well in your household!

      • ABCDE

What a sicko this troll is…

      • Remmie

And the same policies done by Obama did so much for the entire country, right? Geez, that Kool-Aid has eaten your brain away. So if we with hold all 35 billion that Cali has asked for ya’ll will be just fine? Cool beans, pay for your own leftist indoctrination system and all of the infrastructure that you are begging the Federal Government to pay for.

      • SkyGunner

Lmcyber. Sounds like you, sadly, have hopped on the trilogy train of Pelosi, Brown and Feinstein. Don’t worry about my apparently traitorous scribbling, because now, before I finish signing SkyGunner, libertyheadlines is investigating.

      • Lola

        WOW, another delusional libtard

      • Francisco Machado

        California Policy Center:
“We estimate that California state and local governments owe $1.3 trillion as of June 30, 2015. Our analysis is based on a review of federal, state and local financial disclosures. The total includes bonds, loans and other debt instruments as well as unfunded pension and other post-employment benefits promised to public sector employees. Our estimate of California government debt represents about 52% of California’s Gross State Product of $2.48 trillion. When added to the state’s share of the national debt, we find that California taxpayers are shouldering debt burdens on a par with residents of peripheral Eurozone states.
        – Not included are billions of dollars in deferred maintenance and upgrades to California’s infrastructure. To the extent California’s government has not maintained investment in infrastructure maintenance and upgrades to keep up with normal wear and to keep pace with an expanding population, it has passed this cost on to future generations
who will have to issue additional debt to pay for this expense.”

      • Ginger Firestone

Oh, how silly you sound. If you have zero unemployment environment, why do so many of your state’s residents get welfare? Zero unemployment should mean you pay out no welfare and I know for a fact that’s a bald faced lie. You talk about welfare and I have a suspicion that you include social security as a welfare benefit – well dear, it’s not. We paid into that program – not voluntarily, but it was taken from each and every pay check we got (notice that senators and congressmen don’t pay into it and get full pay after leaving office). Now we are owed the benefits that were forced upon us. I take personal offense when they lump together social security and medicare in with all the other welfare programs such as food stamps, medicaid, etc. If those vulnerable people you talk about are not citizens then they don’t deserve anything – if they are illegal they deserve to be sent back home and let their governments take care of them. It is not up to the USA to support the world. And so what if there is inequity with incomes? Should a burger flipper make the same thing as a brain surgeon? Get real. When do we finally have to take personal responsibility for our own welfare? You want to increase your income? Stop demanding more pay, get an education in a field where you can make more money and then move into that field. So many kids today are getting degrees in fields that they will never be able to support themselves with. It’s a stupid waste of time and effort and all they will ever do is become the next generation of welfare recipients. This country was not founded to be socialist or communist – it’s a democratic society that relies on capitalism and nothing wrong with that.
Back to economics 101 – corporations don’t pay tax. They simply pass on that expense to their customers. If they bring their money from other countries into the states, that means they will be spending it in the USA and not elsewhere. That is good for our economy. Many other countries do not tax money earned elsewhere. This is not a new idea. The feds have their noses into things that they should not. We were founded to have a small federal government and let the states do their own thing. Just what part of my earnings do you think you are entitled to? I am not a charity. I give charity where I want it to go – and if I decided not to give anything at all, it would still be my business. Do you realize that roads were built, libraries created, parks, schools, infrastructure all without federal taxes? At one point in time you got to keep everything you earned. That was when our dollar was backed with gold and had real value, not just smoke and mirrors.

      • mioahu

LAME Cyber, writing novels again ? After you proved how uninformed you are on the other threads, not knowing basic facts (need reminder which ones ?) you disgraced yourself forever on these forums, please go away , you are a useless braindead leftist.
I told you long posts are a sign of lack of clarity 🙂
The LEFT FAILS EVERY TIME, all over the world, whenever you implement your stupid policies, but it marches on, with support from useful idiots like you. California may have a surplus because the rest of the country has to pay for it’s state and local tax deductions 🙂 It’s time to have those gone, to put some sense of responsibility into your LAME politicians and get them booted from office That should be enough to bring a pretty nice surplus at the federal level AHAHAHAH. Make CALI republican again.
And again, if this tax bill is sooo terrible, you should rejoice, since democrats will take over the senate and house, right ? ….don’t hold your breath

      • James A. Walker

Are you really that stupid? What are the facts involving the $1,5+ trillion in unfunded pension liabilities? You are probably a loyal ignorant sycophant of Crooked Hillary that typically has a sense of low self worth. In a feeble attempt at compensating for your being a “loser, you project an image of superiority by spewing DNC talking points as facts!

      • sophie bonner

You are an intentional idiot. California is facing bankruptcy and people are fleeing by the droves due to the high taxes.

      • Advocate

How do you figure the surplus? There is no surplus in CA, they are running a deficit that’s why they raised the gas tax and raising the taxes on the car registration fees.. Wake Up…Jerry Brown has wasted a ton of money on a lot of failed programs. Its very nice to give away money away..

      • mioahu

So just one question, when your company was doing good (assuming you don’t lie and actually did have a company) , didn’t your employees do good ? Or you kept all your profits for yourself ? Assuming they did better cause your are such a great hart and shared your profits with them, didn’t they then afford to do more stuff ? have a babysitter, have somebody walk their dog and maintain their lawns ? Donate more to charity, buy stocks which in turn lift the market, which bosst everybody’s retirement savings, and puts more money in the pockets of the companies they invest in, therefor generating there the same cycle , made their employees and shareholders whealtier etc. How does that empirical evidence of trickle down economics sound to you ?

      • John

If democrat policies, including Brown’s, are so good for lower class people, why has my standard of living been going down? Why is the democrat idea of helping us is to take progressively more of our money from us? How is taking more money from us making our lives better when the results, such as bad roads, infrastructure and schools that don’t teach even the basics, are worse? How can you claim there is a big surplus when the massive unfunded liability puts us in the red? How do democrat policies help people looking for beginning level jobs when such jobs, like the kind I started with, are not at all worth $15.-/hr., so starter employees are pushed aside. Besides, higher paid jobs mean higher costs, which mean higher prices, which mean fewer of us can afford things, which means a lower standard of living and more people loosing jobs, higher income taxes because of higher “paper” income (as opposed to higher real income), and so on. Unless you can prove to me that businesses have money trees in their back lots, prove me wrong that money that businesses use to pay their business and corporate comes from us, who buy and rent things from businesses, while we also pay our own income taxes, property taxes, fuel taxes, ad nausium. I learned this in high school.

      • Jeannie

OMG Your liberal head is up your backside. we are 400 million dollars in debt!!! We pay higher taxes than most….My property taxes are $3700.00 per year….We pay 8.5% sales tax, and we pay $.76.7 tax per gallon gas tax. Of that .18.6 is Federal tax… WE spend $30.3 BILLION dollars per year on ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS…. Don’t tell me what a good GOVERNOR moonbeam is. He is a a disgrace, just like his father was.

      • Jim Wajciechowski

        Try some facts

To start with JFK used tax cuts to grow revenues and improve employment and prosperity

Saying there is no evidence is simply incorrect as your other points are as well

Regents tax cuts yielded less impact but still was similar

        Try the truth

      • Philly is a toilet

Shame on Democrats who believe that government knows how to take care of peoplevetter than the people do. Their only goal is power. If Democrats had the answers, then why is Philly, Detroit, St Louis, Camden, Chester, Flint, Memphis, New Orleans, and every other Democrat controlled city a den of poverty and violence. The Democrats want Control & Power; they don’t care about the people.

      • SilentCalFan

You have no clue. The moronic phrase “trickle down economics” was invented for the 1924 election by Progressive Party candidate Bob La Follette. This was during the greatest prosperity for the middle class and everyone else this country ever saw. The conservative policies of Republicans Harding, Coolidge, and Treas Sec Mellon pulled the country out of the Democrat Wilson depression of 1920-21, cut the fed budget almost in half, reduced fed debt by a third, produced 4 balanced budgets in a row, restrained regulation, cut taxes for everyone, and raised middle class incomes by about 30%. I’ll go with “trickle down” every time. Trump is trying to emulate those policies. Jerry Brown is presiding over an abyss of state debt which the state will never be able to pay, and it is caused by liberal tax and spend policies.

      • Gary Ross

California is 750 BILLION in debt.

      • bytheway4

Lucy, how much are you paid to write such lies. We know better, Did Jerry pay you. All hogwash. now get lost and stop with you lies.

      • James Hopkins

If they have such an excess then why are they crying for federal aid to help with the wildfires? Jerry Brown and his fater before him are the most terrible Governors California has ever seen. He needs to be voted out of office.

      • Brent

Your claim of “no empirical data” is a flat lie. Reagan cut the tax rate phenominally, and actual tax revenue went UP 80% over his 8 years in office. It works just great, but that’s the real inconvenient truth you lib’s just can’t acknowledge. If you do, your entire talking point set goes into the abyss.

    • Lmcyber

I am sorry, but the people in California are mostly liberals. Not very many people don’t believe in climate change. I live in So. CA, and most people have solar and pay NOTHING in gas and electric bills. They sell their excess energy back to the utility company. Without solar, people were pay anywhere from $500 – $1200 a month. So, yes, you are foolish not to believe in green energy, and environmental concerns. We live in a state with 38 Million people and yes, we do not want to live in the smog that LA used to have. Since we have paid attention to climate change, our kids don’t have asthma when they do out to recess everyday.

People here understand that the services that comes from government is important. With 38 million people, we want our education up high, we want our roads and bridges and our infrastructure taken care of. We want our lower income people taken care of. Any and all policies that were considered taxes were voted for by the people. We always vote for our bonds and taxes that improve our state. Why would we want our state to go to $ell? Why would we not want our kids to have the best education? You have to invest in education! It just doesn’t happen and if it means higher taxes, so be it. There is nothing wrong with higher taxes, if you know the state is doing its job, and this state does!

      • Rolpho Signetti

Blah blah. Blah! CA good, CA SMART we smart!
        America is stupid.
        Wadda idiot!

        • slk5

i’ve got beach front property in arizona!!!

      • Mark Thomas

You are wrong on a number of points. I to live in southern CA. Yes, there are solar panels on a number of houses, but your claims that most have solar is ridiculous. If that were the case to whom are those with solar panels selling excess electricity to?
Who said I don’t believe in environmental concerns? I have lived a long time in the LA basin and I can tell you that we have come a long way from the days when there was a haze of orange eye and lung burning smog. So, Jerry and friends want to further reduce carbon by restricting carbon dioxide, but when is enough, enough? People have to make a living and cars and energy are part of modern life. As to the rest about our high standards, I would say our standards have dropped. Los Angeles still has freeway interchanges that date back to the 1960s. We have a ballooning homeless population that really started growing during the Obama years. The sad truth is that Jerry and the rest have been wasting and overspending money in this state for years, and they have done well to hide, from folks like you, that the state has far too many unfunded liabilities and is really close to bankruptcy. As far as taxes, no we don’t vote for all our bonds or tax increases, that is normally the job of the state legislators. Did you vote on Jerry’s 12 cent a gallon gasoline tax increase? No you did not. There is plenty wrong with higher taxes and California will one day be proof positive.

        • ABCDE

Do not bother to talk to this troll. He knows everything but writes what he is paid for.

        • Bimu

Funny how ya’ll have come such a long way – technologically – but you have your heads up your snouts. Your haze and smog exist as forest fires due to your improper water planning (reservoirs) and never clearing out the undergrowth from the forests and hillsides, etc. This isn’t rocket science but with all your immigrant welfare, etc. you have no reason for all the natural destruction.

        • Sharrell Burcham

Finally a Californian that tells the truth.

        • Lmcyber

Bonds are voted for by the voters. Yes I voted for the 12 cent tax, and if you generate more electricity than you use, you sell it back to the utility company. The state is not near bankruptcy and I invite you to look at the newest budget for 2017 -18. I think the republican caused depression during the Bush years that was caused by deregulation and derivative swapping had a lot to do with any increase in poverty in this country. Remember Obama inherited an economy that was bleeding 750k jobs a month and all had lost 40% of their wealth, which republicans used under TARP to pick the banking back up after they caused the mess.

      • gvette

Nice try, Libtard. The green energy industries can’t stand alone. It is highly subsidized by taxpayer money.

        • Lmcyber

And do you think the same about the Oil and Gas industry that is still being subsidized and has been subsidized for dozens of years. Oil and gas has NEVER stood on its own feet.

          • gvette

The federal government spent $24 billion on energy subsidies in 2011, with the vast majority going to renewable energy sources, according to a government report.

Renewable energy and energy efficiency accounted for $16 billion of the federal support, according to the Congressional Budget Office, while the fossil-fuel industry received $2.5 billion in tax breaks.

      • gvette

Nice try, Libtard. The green energy industries can’t stand alone. It is highly subsidized by taxpayer money.

You are losing 1500 people a week (4 million since 1990 and in-migration is illegal; most people leaving make under $50,000 and say they cannot afford CA) and 73,000 businesses a year (since 2000)–source–The LA Times. It must be a great place.

        Wow you are stupid Lmcyber.

      • Ginger Firestone

The smog I grew up with had nothing to do with climate change – it had to do with pollution and that was fixed before I was an adult. I do remember having it hurt to breathe. Don’t confuse pollution with climate change – temps stayed pretty much the same during the time I was growing up in Southern California. Best education? Better look that up – America doesn’t come in very high. Today’s teachers are more interested in brain washing our youth to socialist ideas and teaching history that never was than actually teaching what they need to learn. Politics has no place in schools until they hit the college level – and after they have learned critical thinking skills

I would rather see us “donate” all those you mentioned, especially Brown and Pillosi to NK. Provide them all with one way tickets to NK.

The cost of living would be much lower in almost any other place than in californication!! I’m sure they could make due almost anywhere else. It would be worth a try, doncha think?

          • Brent

Too many voting free-loaders and illegals to overcome at the polls. Uphill battle to the extreme.

          • slk5

many of the politicians already on record to replace them with intruders!!!

          • Papa Bear

Please read my comment to silk5

          • SkyGunner

Brent. You’ve also got those high living, drugged up, suffering with a messiah complex, actors. They go on tv and radio running their mouths and telling their adoring free-loaders and illegals who to vote for.

          • Papa Bear

Gov MOONBEAM is spending future generation’s debt to lure support from Mexico
A liberal form of “Democracy” cannot exist as a permanent form of Government. It can only exist until the Voters discover they can vote themselves Largesse from the Public Treasury. From that moment on the majority will always vote for the Candidates promising the most benefits from the Public Treasury, with the results that a liberal Democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy and is always followed by a Dictatorship!!!

          • slk5

            sad but true!!!

          • Kathryn Jordan

brown can’t run again at least not for a long time. Next year CA gets a new governor

          • slk5

i’ve got my fingers crossed for you!!!

          • Kathryn Jordan

I put up with tornado drills here in Ohio. I lived in Texas where we would have “hurricane” parties at college (of course, I was going to a school in East Texas) and I have lived in CA where I had to deal with the earthquakes. How my parents can still deal with the earthquakes is beyond me. While I miss the beauty of the CA, I don’t miss the high prices. Cost of living in Ohio is cheaper than in CA.

          • slk5

i still remember air raid drills in nyc, where we had to hide under our desks…life here is much cheaper then both cal and nyc!!!

        • Mikial

Tell them to move . . . now.

        • RunnerFriendly

People who make comments like this are just as ignorant as those who are running the state. Not everyone in California, in fact most, do not agree with this way of thinking and surly aren’t going to move because people on a blog recommend they do. One person (Pelosi) does not speak for the true Americans in California and people need to understand this before making such moronic statements.

          • Jim Strong

            BS

          • Lonestarbybirth

If most don’t agree how do they keep electing idiots out there ?

          • dallasyvonneauldridge

The same way Massachusetts keeps electing/supporting the drunken murdering kennedys.

          • Debra Shawver

I believe it is called gerrymandering and fraud

          • Brent

Well…it would be a great state to take a close look at voter fraud.

          • BillRiedel

But you all just keep re-electing her. Makes you responsible for what she does and says.

          • dallasyvonneauldridge

You are truly ignorant. You think ALL people in CA vote for the same person.

          • Brent

Of course not…but piglosi has never received less than 63% of the vote for any election, and most the time she gets 80+%.

With those numbers it’s not hard to understand why people think CA is filled with mostly fruits and nuts. She’s CA’s 5th district. That’s not Southern California.

          • Wayne Hill Sr.

Honest question, IF Pelosi, et aL does not speak for the true Americans in California, then why in blazes does She, Jerry Brown and the rest of the insane Liberal freaks keep getting re-elected? The Country of true Americans ELECTED Donald Trump, the Insane Liberal Freaks in California ELECTED Jerry Brown, Pelosi and etc.!

          • dallasyvonneauldridge

Because southern ca way out numbers no. Ca.

          • Brent

You realize that still means Californian majority still heavily favors piglosi, brown…?

And It’s not just SoCal either. SanFrancisco is northern Kalifornia and it’s overwhelmingly brain damaged too.

          • John L.G. Sablan

Their are more Democrats in Southern California and more and more in power with the RICH and FAMOS Holllywood

          • Lmcyber

Because California is a very progressive state. It has been for years and that will certainly not change in the near future.

          • bytheway4

Wayne, I think the machines at the voting polls are fixed, just like they fixed the machines for the murderer, hillarry.

          • Herb1949

Sorry but if there are any real US citizens left in mexifornia, they ARE either too damn lazy to vote, or too stupid to leave. Damn sure are not in the majority of voters.

          • Betty

I totally agree with your comment. I know many awesome people in California who do not agree with Nancy Pelosi. There are many conservatives in California. I just wish they would use their voices and their rights to vote these idiots out of office.

          • ARJAY

If most people don’t support the current agenda of those in power, WHY WERE THEY ELECTED THEN REELECTED?!?!

If the MAJORITY are in fact conservative, WHY AREN’T THEY VOTING those creeps out of office?!?!

THAT’S why we are telling you conservatives to GET OUT!!

californication isn’t the ONLY BEAUTIFUL state, you know!!

          • bytheway4

pelosi, doesn’t have a brain cel in that tiny mins of hers, she has every sign of dementia. get her out.

          • James Hopkins

            Well said.

          • Kathryn Jordan

I think Pelosi was wrong when she said what she did. She doesn’t think before she speaks (must come with being in Congress for 30 years). She thinks her ideology is the best thing for the state of CA. As a democrat, I don’t agree with her. I believe Pelosi is in the wrong. I even think Gov. Brown’s ideology should not be forced on the people of CA.

          • Kathryn Jordan

Pelosi will never speak for all Californians. Pelosi’s brains has shrunk to the size of a pea that she can’t seem to understand what on earth she is saying. Her ideology is not to forced onto Californians. Neither should Gov. Brown’s ideology be forced onto the people of California. I agree that there are people in California who do not agree with these people’s ways of thinking.

        • Patti Fisk

His comments and others’ hateful commends are not appreciated. We are not Pelosi or Brown or the any other politition. We have as much right to be here as they do. 🇺🇸
          MAGA

          • Kathryn Jordan

No politician should force his/her ideology on anyone. Pelosi has a big mouth with little brains. I’ve lost respect in her. She can’t force all Republicans out of CA if they support this tax bill. Pelosi has been in Congress too long; time for her to come home.

        • Victor F

Sucks to be them, no pun intended. There are still good people in CA and I trust your family are some of the good ones.

          • Kathryn Jordan

Yes, my family are good people. And I know that there are still good people in CA.

        • JINH

I too have more than 100 family members living in California and they all voted for Trump. It doesn’t stop there. Their neighborhoods voted for Trump as well and they’re not being treated nicely. Perhaps it’s just time they all move to another state. California is no longer a place to be.

          • James Hopkins

Maybe it should become a federal prison LOL

          • Linda Abernathy

No, they should stay and represent Trump, stop the snowflake takeover!

          • Tricia Harris

            There aren’t enough of them.

          • JINH

Most are seniors. They tried to represent Trump and were threatened. Now they support him in silence; not even on social media! I live in another state surrounded by military bases. The feelings for and opinions of President Trump is strong and positive; it’s easy to have decent and healthy dialogue. But when I visit family in CA, it seems to be a hush-hush situation. Really?!

          • glen thompson

Might I suggest your family members move to a more hospitable state where their vote actually counts and better opportunities exist.

          • JINH

Yeah, I agree. Suggested it to them over and over but most are seniors and have been in CA most or all of their lives. It’s pretty sad when you can’t let anyone know you voted for President Trump for fear of attack on your life, your home, family….the list goes on. I still think our President should put in motion de-funding the entire state of CA or allowing this state to secede from the nation. Cut everything off asap.

        • Kenny Albert

          So.

        • James Hopkins

I have lived there and I have family that lives there. I personally did not leave anything there I want to go get.

          • Linda Abernathy

That’s what I said when I left FL for SC

          • Kathryn Jordan

My parents live there and won’t move to either state that their children live. they would rather live out the rest of lives in CA. The only thing I left were my parents after I graduated from high school over 30 years ago.

      • Jim Strong

        Hope it is real soon.

      • bobs33hotrod

Hey Silk5, Don’t say that. A lot of God Fearing and Trump supports live there in California.. Hope you modify your comment.
        Bobby ~!~

        • ARJAY

To the Conservatives in californication, GET OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Tricia Harris

LOL – I did. I have four very dear friends who live out there who are Conservative. Told them they’d be welcomed here in Texas!

          • Petethepilot

Amen, our state is the best in the union.

          • SkyGunner

Don’t know there Pete, Alabama’s still got a good head on for most things. I know some states need new role models and I believe either State would be a worthy role model.

          • Petethepilot

Agree, my apologies to you and the good folks of Alabama. Just got a little carried away when compared to California.

          • Papa Bear

Many can’t leave for a number of reasons. At one time I owned and operated an engineering firm in Southern Ca. We were quite successful so much that we were regularly visited by state and federal agencies who levied more taxes and implemented more regulations. At the time we had a staff of 116 We were nearly taxed and regulated out of business. I then started searching for a “more business friendly environment” I knew if we were to relocate it would be just like starting over and I didn’t want to start over so I offered to pay moving expenses for any employee who wished to relocate I was able to retain 30% of my staff. My point is not everyone can relocate even when they have a job and their moving expenses are paid

          • ARJAY

            Valid points for sure.

Just wonder if the 30% that moved are better off than the 70% that didn’t move.

In other words, who ended up better off?

The way things are going in californication now, the payoff for moving is becoming shorter and shorter.

          • Papa Bear

Just like everywhere else only the politicians are better off. The dummies that bought into all that falgracarb are still waiting!

        • Richard Collier

I agree there are a lot of decent people that live there just not enough to vote these idiots out. She has a short memory, she was the one walking down the main st. holding a big number one when they passed the obama health care saying you have to pass it to read whats in it. I wonder if she would sign for a bank loan before any numbers were put in it .. She is an A H

          • Tricia Harris

Biggest AH in Washington. Well maybe not, Maxine Waters gives her a good run for her money towards the loony bin.

          • buzz Breslin

            absolutely

        • slk5

i’m not wishing anything, but it’s a scientific fact…san andreas fault…i’m a ny’er now living in az, and know exactly how you feel. nyc has more conservatives then most cities have people!!!

          • NRApatriot

If that’s so, why do they keep voting in progressive democrats for mayors in NYC???

          • slk5

4 million conservatives aren’t enough in nyc, too many moochers!!!

          • Robert Wayne

That’s true. President Trump is from New York City. I only wish there were more like him and fewer like that DeBlasio creep who sits in the mayor’s office.

          • slk5

i spent most of my first 34 years in nyc, and i knew generations of women who lived off welfare, who only voted for those who took care of them…moochers are fiercely loyal to their givers!!!

          • Petethepilot

That why they have such high taxes.

          • slk5

            free stuff really isn’t free!!!

          • Robert Wayne

Very true! There’s no such thing as completely free. The moochers and supporters of left wing radicals like the Clintons, Obama or Sanders are really living off the American taxpayers. The left wing politicians are just stealing from taxpayers for the votes of these creeps who live on the public dole.

          • slk5

and now it’s known, the consumer board was funneling funds to other liberal socialist organizations!!!

          • SkyGunner

slk5. That’s something these welfare people found out a few yrs after prez johnson implemented his great society. Johnson implemented his welfare state by finally breaking into the working mans fed account, social security. Once he got a large block of voters used to all the freebies he was passing out, he told the blk leaders of that time, Jesse jackson for one, who they were gonna vote for in local and national elections and would continue to vote for demnazis until the only politicians left were demnazis. If they didn’t vote for the people the demnazis told them too, all their welfare and any other freebies they were getting would be taken away! Another thing the feds did was start revenue sharing with the states, giving the state back some of the taxes taken from the states workers. In the ‘70’s, when carter set the national speed limit at 55( Arabs started an oil embargo) most of the states balked at reducing the 70mph national speed limit to 55mph, they said they wouldn’t, because the freeways were designed for faster speeds. Actually their citizens were very unhappy with 55mph speed limit and told them if they wanted to be re-elected, don’t reduce the speed. Here comes the freebies true price. If the states don’t do what we tell them to do, we’ll cut out the revenue sharing. Welfare got their freebie’s true price- do what we tell you to do, or lose your money: make your speed limit what we tell you to make it, or we’ll cut-off your revenue sharing. Our governments been blackmailing to get their way for a long time. NEVER think politicians are giving you something for nothing! The feds, according to our original Constitution was never intende to have that kind of power over the states! It’s written down as, ‘ other than the powers already listed in our Constitution, the only other powers the feds will have are the ones GRANTED to them by a majority vote of the STATES!!!!

          • slk5

grew up in nyc, and know generations of the same family, all on welfare, also remember the fuel lines very well!!!

          • SkyGunner

Strange,, how 4million can be rated a minority. But, from what I hear, sanctuary cities population fluctuate quite a bit. Usually around election times for another sanctuary city, that needs a few more hundreds of thousands voters. I’ve heard a lot of strategy sessions, months (or however long they need to get ready)can project very closely how many ‘ I’ve got’cha’ voters and if they need more, or are sitting easy. If given enough time, it’s not hard to move them and who cares if it’s noticed? Our media’s heads are in a latrine somewhere trying to find Rep. garbage and wouldn’t say anything if they did notice improprieties. Strange about those latrine hoppers though, they’ve found so many demnazis plotting in them, making pizza calls to Chicago and other nefarious things, they had to call demnazi hdqtrs and ask where the perverts are having their pizzas that night. You know, society used to shame malefactors, let it be known throughout the community what smith had done, was gonna do, etc…….. and the shame was enough to stop a lot of people from acting up. Now, the demnazis have done so much wrong, that you can’t shame them, they laugh about it. Sorry I got off track. It’s just, for the first time in modern times, we’re not having a peaceful turnover of power. The losers are plotting insurrection, murder, and treason most foul. One very shameful fact is, enough people elected an avowed muslim to the presidency, who promptly filled his cabinets with more muslims even after he made the famous statement, “ if it came down to picking the muslims, or Americans, I would have to follow islam. Unbelievable as it seems, they’re are multitudes who still believe obamatollah and billary are working for “ their people, Americans”. Billary worships at the green (monetary ) alter exclusively, while obamatollah still answers the calls of whatever they call that dude at the top of a tower, screeching his scrawny head off. We’ve got to keep following the spirit that was awakened this last election. I don’t know how many more mulligans God is going to allow us. One major insult, electing a Muslim to be prez, topped off by an even more atrocious insult by re-electing him again. If you people don’t believe me about a muslim heavy cabinet that obamatollah put in, just read about it and good luck pronnouncing all those sand dune riding names.

          • slk5

            he did appoint many muslims!!!

          • SkyGunner

slk5. Yes he did. I had heard that he did it, so I looked up his cabinet. I couldn’t pronounce anyone’s name. Don’t know how many were in there, because I became angry that the Rep.’s hadn’t made it known to the country, probably knew what kind of response that would have brought. Something to contact your D.C. politicians about. I Done Did. All I got was aahhdaa, uummmhh, aduhh. They had no answers, nor excuses.

          • slk5

right now, my 2 senators are mccain and flake, and my congressman is franks!!!

          • SkyGunner

Bless your heart. I know for a fact that one of them was a military turncoat, McCain!. You talking about Bernie franks? If it is Bernie franks, he’s as queer as (3)Three Dollar Bills. Y’all have (2)two politicians you need to throw to the curb.

          • slk5

            trent franks, who just resigned…

            GETTING TO KNOW THE
            REAL JOHN MCCAIN

            ByBurma Davis Posey

This is John McCain’s home in Arizona. Not bad for a man who worked in the
military, left the military, and then ran for Congress. He has been in Congress
            since 1983… for 34 years.

McCain graduated 894th in his class of 899 students from the Naval Academy!
He was known for being wild and it usually revolved around women. He was a
member of a group of students who called themselves “The Bad Bunch”.

He married Carol Shepp who was a successful swimsuit model. She had been
married to one of his classmates and had two children from her first marriage.
She and McCain became parents for a daughter one year later. He had been quite
a playboy and was already becoming bored with the domesticated life. He
requested active duty in Vietnam. While he was there, Carol faithfully stayed
at home looking after the children and waiting anxiously for news about her
husband. His plane was shot down in 1967 and he became a POW.

On Christmas Eve 1969, Carol and the children were spending the holiday with
her parents. After dinner she was going to take gifts to some friends. The road
was icy and she slid head-on into a telephone pole. She was thrown from the car
through the front window. Her legs, spine, and right arm were crushed and she
was in the hospital for 6 months. Ross Perot was an advocate of POW’s and he
paid her medical bills. She requested that John not be told because she felt he
already had enough to deal with.

McCain was released in 1973 and returned home to much fanfare. Carol had
several surgeries, lost 5 inches in height, and gained some weight… McCain
told reporters he was overjoyed to see Carol again. But friends say privately
he was ‘appalled’ by the change in her appearance.

As a war hero, McCain was moving in ever-more elevated circles. “He
started carousing and running around with women.”, reported Robert
Timberg. Bob Timberg was a retired Marine, an American journalist, writer, and
author of four books, including THE NIGHTINGALE’S SONG and JOHN MCCAIN: AN
            AMERICAN ODYSSEY.

McCain admitted he started having many girlfriends and affairs during this
time. On one trip to Hawaii he met an Anheuser Busch distributer heiress, Cindy
Hensley, at a cocktail party. She was 17 years younger than McCain and worth
$100 million dollars. He invited her to have drinks with him at the Royal
Hawaiian Hotel. He said by the end of the evening he was in love.

They had an affair for nine months while he was still married to and living
with his wife Carol. McCain wanted to marry Cindy but needed first to get a
divorce. He and Carol separated in January 1980. He requested a divorce in
February, the divorce was sped along and granted in April. He and Cindy married
5 weeks after the divorce was final on May 17, 1980. Carol and their children
were devastated. McCain callously left his first wife and children behind. He
and Cindy moved to Arizona. Cindy’s father was well-connected and helped McCain
move smoothly into Congress representing Arizona in Washington DC.

McCain’s new wife and her family were extravagantly wealthy. Her father was
one of the largest distributors of Anheuser Busch in the country and she was an
only child. The divorce settlement afforded Carol McCain full custody of their
three children, alimony, child support, including college tuition, houses in
Virginia and Florida, and lifelong financial support for her continuing medical
            treatment from the car accident.

Carol said the reason for the divorce was John turned 40 and he wanted to be
25 again. Carol was extremely hurt. She went to work as the press assistant for
soon-to-be First Lady Nancy Reagan. She became loved and respected in
Washington. She kept a dignified silence about the horrendous way McCain had
            treated her.

Some of the McCain friends were less forgiving, however. They portray the
politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled
wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a
former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.

Despite his popularity as a politician, there are those who have not
forgotten his treatment of his first wife. Ted Sampley, who fought with US
Special Forces in Vietnam is now a leading campaigner for veterans’ rights.

Ted said, “I have been following John McCain’s career for nearly 20
years. I know him personally. There is something wrong with this guy and let me
tell you what it is… deceit.

“When he came home and saw that Carol was not the beauty he left behind,
he started running around on her almost right away. Everybody around him knew
it. Eventually he met Cindy and she was young, beautiful, and very wealthy.
McCain just dumped Carol for something he thought was better.

“This is a guy who makes such a big deal about his character. Yet he has no
            character. He is a fake.”

Ross Perot, who paid her medical bills all those years ago, now believes
that both Carol McCain and the American people have been taken in by a man who
is unusually slick and cruel, even by the standards of modern politics.

Mr. Perot said, “McCain is the classic opportunist. He’s always
            reaching for attention and glory.

After he came home, Carol walked with a limp. So he threw her over for a
poster girl with big money from Arizona. And the rest is history.

A man who cannot be faithful to a loving, self-sacrificing wife cannot be
trusted to be faithful to the American people.

Cindy has also had to learn the lessons about her husband the hard way. Even
though she and McCain put on a perfect front for the public, especially when he
is running for office, she really is an invisible wife to him.

Tom Gosinski, who served as director of Cindy McCain’s nonprofit American
Voluntary Medical Team (AVMT) wrote in his journal about the McCain marriage:

“During my short tenure at AVMT I have been surrounded by what on the
surface appears to be the ultimate all-American family. In reality, I am
working for a very sad, lonely woman. Her marriage of convenience to a U.S.
Senator has driven her to distance herself from friends, cover feelings of
despair with drugs, and replace lonely moments with self-indulgences. She
became addicted to Percocet and had a doctor prescribing them for her
illegally. When her parents learned she was taking them, they helped her stop.

Washington rumors were saying McCain had an inappropriate relationship with
the young and lovely lobbyist, Vicki Iseman. Ms. Iseman began visiting McCain’s
offices and campaign events so frequently in 2000 that his aides were
“convinced the relationship had become romantic”. One staff member
supposedly asked, “Why is she always around?” His staff members began
a campaign to “save McCain from himself” by restricting Iseman’s
access to McCain during the course of the 2000 presidential primary. According
to the Washington Post, McCain’s political advisor John Weaver met with Iseman
at Washington’s Union Station to tell Iseman not to see McCain anymore.

It is not a real marriage between John and Cindy McCain. Real marriages
usually involve living together. McCain and Cindy have not “lived”
together for 20 years. To defend this, McCain brags the family takes two
vacations together every year and Ms. McCain is the one who has always made
            that happen.”

Two vacations per year…What a farse and fake!! Nothing about this man is
real. He has no compassion or empathy for anyone except himself. The only real
thing emotion he is capable of is anger. He is famous for his anger.

His father and grandfather were both decorated Navy Admirals. He was given
special privileges and extreme preferential treatment while he served in the
Navy. He was a pilot but according to his colleagues he was a very bad pilot.
He actually crashed three planes. There was a horrendous incident that happened
on his aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Forrestal, that killed 134 men. There has
been a debate since the incident with some being convinced John McCain was
responsible for this accident. Others are angry about anyone who would dare
speak against a Naval officer and embarrass an entire branch of service.

Many witnesses have reported that McCain was guilty of a “wet
start”. When a pilot wants to be a show off, with a “wet start”
his engine start creates a large startling flame and lots of surprise noise
from the rear of a jet engine on start up. McCain did the “Wet
Start”. It was not an accident. The flames from the wet start torched off
the launching of a powerful Zuni rocket on the plane behind him. The Zuni
rockets were famous for having electrical problems. It shot across the
carrier’s deck hitting other parked planes that were packing 1,000
high-explosive pound bombs. This caused the bombs to explode. The subsequent massive
explosions, fire and destruction went several decks below and nearly sunk this
major 82,000 ton U.S. aircraft carrier.

This stunt and aftermath caused the death of 134 sailors and blew off arms,
legs, and caused blindness and burns to another 161 sailors. McCain jumped from
his plane, rolled across the flames, and escaped. He watched the men dying and
the burning from a closed circuit television on the ship. Sadly all of those
            lives were lost.

They had to take the ship off the battle line for 2 years when it had to be
taken back to port for $76 million dollars of extensive repairs. That does not
include the cost of replacing the airplanes or ammunition.

Other Navy pilots causing this type of death and destruction would have been
arrested and would probably still be in prison. Why didn’t this happened to
            John McCain?

McCain’s grandfather was a famous FOUR STAR Navy admiral and his dad, at the
time of the incident, was also a powerful illustrious FOUR STAR Navy admiral.
McCain had graduated from the Naval Academy. Witnesses say the good ole boy
Navy tradition went into high gear immediately. McCain was not even
repremanded. When there is a cover-up, the soldier is usually simply assigned
to another ship. McCain was quietly assigned to another ship. There is an
ongoing debate about the incident to this day.

John McCain’s lack of character was further demonstrated when he voted not
to repeal Obamacare. He had run his 2016 Senatorial race under the banner he
would LEAD the fight to repeal Obamacare. He hates Donald Trump so very much he
gleefully held his thumb down for his vote rather than a thumbs up. He laughed
afterwards and said, “Let’s see Donald Trump save America now!”

What a horrible man. He stabbed his constituents and the citizens of America in
the back. Liberal socialists now call him their hero.

McCain has recently discovered he has a brain tumor. I am genuinely sorry
for anyone who has to face a health issue especially when it involves cancer.
Thankfully for him the doctors have said it is curable. The fact that he now
has a brain tumor does not change the horrendous things he has done in his life
because of his extremely low flawed character.

If Senator McCain’s own health care was dependent on the Obamacare he has
continued to saddle the American people with, I guarantee he would not have
voted thumbs-down. But because he married a wealthy heiress and has plenty of
money to take care of his own health needs, he does not care.

            What a guy… what a guy!

          • Petethepilot

Their voters have given up, only 20% of the registered voters voted in the last election!

          • NRApatriot

I guess in California they didn’t have the great awakening the apathetic voters in the rest of the country did in the last election? Really, if I lived out there, I would seriously be considering moving to another state!

          • SkyGunner

NRA. The decisions our politicians made, decades ago, to buy up everybody else’s oil(while keeping ours in the ‘strategic reserve) and all those swimming in oil middle eastern swami’s, shierks, or whatever they are were thinking how stupid are Americans, buying our oil at those ridiculous prices while hoarding their pitiful oil fields. H A! Now, our pitiful oil fields, plus more or it every year, are causing consternation in the middle east ( ones still sober enough to notice) because it appears we’ll be charging those outrageous prices!

      • Mark Thomas

Yeah, the Train to Nowhere has swallowed billions by now, and it is still in the planning phase. The planners get paid and I’m sure they kick back some of that money to Jerry and his friends. Speaking of Jerry’s Friends, one could also mention all the criminals he released from state jail as another hallmark of his administration.

  • Cancel_NPR

    Fcku both of these idiots…

  • Steven Stinson

I can only imagine how embarrassing it must be for the residents of California, a state that once was the pride of the nation, now the butt of countless jokes.

    • Lmcyber

California makes the rest of the states look backwards. California is the technology capital of the world and has the fifth largest economy. They feed the poverty in the red states. They supplement the red states. The draw on federal money comes from red states. Look at states like Kansas, who can’t even afford to send their kids to school for more than 4 days a week, which tells you the caliber of education that comes from Kansas.

      • begroeg

You need a straight jacket! I hope you don’t own a gun.

        • Lmcyber

Trust me ths time In history will soon be over!! Enjoy it while you can because the country sees it, hates it, and will vote against it. Just remember when there won’t be any growth and your paychecks start to get smaller and smaller, and you will wonder why the stock market keeps going up and why are you not getting higher wages and salaries and why would there be a recession occurring in the next couple of years. Then be glad Democrats will be in office to pick up the pieces as we always have. But this time the damage that will be done by repubes or the pedophile party will shock the sensibilia of most of Americans and this time they won’t forget what these people are doing to our society!

          • Rolpho Signetti

What gets me… you actually believe the poison you spew out of the hole in your head.

  • Stephen Serafin

Just another Idiot talking rubbish. That’s the same reason why a lot of CEOs have lower stock values because they spoke without thinking it through. Do you think its bad economics that has Nordstrom’s looking for investors to go private after dissing trump’s Daughters product line during the campaign? They must have thought that their customer base was in liberal Seattle area rather than the conservative mid west. Bad market research. Target is only starting to make a comeback after jumping on the anything goes bathroom policy. I haven’t heard if Camping World is in trouble after their idiot CEO said Trump Supporters were not welcome @ Camping World. Pelosi is just another idiot shooting off her mouth and talking rubbish.

  • Richard Schwartz

Why not have her state leave the union?

  • DollyT

California would better off if all the democrats including Pelosi left!

  • Born Again Southern Pride

You gotta love an elected official who tells half of her constituents to leave. Elected to represent all? Not so much…

  • disqus_A1IVSzeN8P

Nancy will not have any problem finding followers for her brand of Pablum. CA is full of fools.

  • James Ruddy

Too bad she doesn’t feel that way about people who really aren’t supposed to be there.

  • oldwestman

Funny how when the shoe is on the other foot it seems to bother some folks more. The Dems can’t stand the fact that their tax and spend policies don’t work so good anymore. We in IL have a dem running for gov. and he has already come out and said the gov. needs a tax increase and he hasn’t even been in the election process yet. Hopefully Gov. Rauner will win re-election.

  • Fred_K

News for Piglosi…The Republicans are the people,, so maybe she should leave the state instead of forcing her ideology on them.

  • Larry Cowden

That old COW is long overdue for the pasture! Her brain is gone, dementia has set in, she no longer has touch with reality! She should follow her pet Conyers and just shut the FRACK up and get out now!

  • Jim McCabe

Nancy is one of the richest people living in California. She knows absolutely nothing about middle class america. If she doesn’t like what republicans do then she should move some where else like China. Canada wouldn’t want her that is for sure.

  • Katherine Gabriel

She is certifiable. How on earth do the good people of California keep electing this nut to office?

  • The Old Ranger

If anyone should leave Cal, it should be Pelosi. This female is a joke (not a funny one either). Cal is in a world of hurt and all she wants to do is continue to steal money from the middle class and give it to the illegals and the generational welfare people (who have never had a job because people like Pelosi told them they didn’t have to work, just hold out their hand for all the freebies). I’ve visited Cal and it’s a beautiful state (other than some of the large population centers). The people who live outside these cess pools are very good people and they stubbornly believe things are going to get better, but more and more of them are leaving the state to go live elsewhere. When all those people are gone, Cal will collapse in on itself and idiots like Pelosi.

  • disqus_rEWjgfyzIp

Yes the CA democraps want your money and if you take it from them they will most likely send their storm troopers after you. So yes leave CA and the Democraps behind

  • Robert Ruiz

My family has lived in California since the 1700’s. It would be nice if you get rid of all the people who weren’t born in California to leave and take Miss Nancy back to Maryland

    • J Whitehurst

Maryland doesn’t want her! Take that senile fool and put her in one of the asylums that will lock her up and throw away the keys. What has she done for the people since holding office? The only thing she is good is babbling incoherently. Get her a drool cup and set her in a corner with some Skittles.

      • Wendy Mantooth

All Pelosi’s botox has frozen her brain!!

        • Mountain_Dew_518

What brain? I thought she never had a brain. If she does she is sitting on it cutting off oxygen to it.

  • Eguth3

It’s just another reason we need term limits.

  • Donald Kilb

Pelosi is a despicable member of the DemoRat Crime Organization. She doesn’t even deserve air for breathing. Somebody should put her and Diane Feinstein out of our misery and even include Governor Moonbeam in it for the ride.

  • Remmie

Telling Repubulicans that their ideology doesn’t come first is hilarious coming from an idiot like Moon Beam Brown. That should go down in the annals of comedy as a classic.

  • Arnold Mackey

I agree if we can get all the Republicands to move to Oregon we can finally get our state back. To help out California we can send them all the illegal aliens to them.

  • Queenchallenger

Nancy Pelosi wants to make sure the new budget includes her $1000 plus per month (over $12,000/yr) liquor bill paid for by taxpayers. Talk about private slush funds!

    • Wendy Mantooth

      Er…”lush funds”?

    • Mountain_Dew_518

Are you sure it is not $1000 a day? No telling how much on chocolate strawberries either.

  • JINH

Glory!! Could it be?…Could this be the ultimate Christmas gift?….Good Lord, finally my 100+ strong family in California and their neighborhoods who all voted for President Trump have to leave California, take their tax support and other monetary support to another state, sell their multi million dollar homes and move to a pro-Trump state. Thank You Jesus. It’s a dream come true. California is sinking as it is; it has become a state of parasites. De-fund that state and their sanctuary cities! We’ve all had enough of them.

    • Wendy Mantooth

      LOVE your comments!! MAGA!!!!!

  • Gregg Parker

In Nancy’s world she says the republicans don’t come first the people do, but for the last year she has done nothing for the people except sit on her hands and say no…. if the people came first she would be pushing an agenda for the people and not playing politics…. besides Moonbeam will be going to jail anyway. I wouldn’t quote him… she will be too so don’t quote her either…

  • Lola

They are all scared to death and it will be Armageddon for the Democrats because it is a great bill….The Dems are draining themselves. Between their craziness with the bill, not having any agenda at all but ruining the US and all the perverts in their party. Say good night Dems….

    • Bimu

Oh Lola, they have an agenda alright….one of death, destruction and deviant morality.

      • Lola

Why is she not taking care of the real death and destruction going on with the wild fires in her state.

        • Bimu

For the same reason(s) that these conditions exist in the first place. The are only concerned with social humanitarian “justice” which is a baloney term for do nothing but divide and conquer with no moral precepts. The Californians have a poor record on preserving rainwater with reservoir construction and they don’t seem to have any time to ever clear out underbrush and dead ‘growth’ because they are so busy with the humanitarian sanctuary immigration issues and welfare and homeless issues and border runners and narcotics and……….. Common sense is not very highly regarded among this class of intelligencia.

  • Fam4Evr

Okay Nancy, shall I send YOU the bill for my family’s moving and resettlement expenses, then?! If despicable rhetoric like this from Pelosi and her ilk don’t go to prove how evil and Marxist these scumbags are, I don’t know what will. Believe me, my family would LOVE to leave the Socialist state of California behind, but we don’t have the money or job prospects to just up and move. I just wish the top leadership of CA could be rounded up for crimes against the country, or for sedition against President Trump, whatever we could get them on, so they would be removed from power here in this state.

  • Stephen Serafin

I was born and raised in Southern Califoricate, but I left in 1979 and never looked back. The problem here in the great Pacific Northwest is the scourge of Californicators who come up and buy our land for cheaper than they can buy it back home in California land and then want to tell the rest of us how we should live. More specifically, the Awhole Steyers spending his billions here trying to influence our elections. Steyers and people who think like you, go home to California land; we don’t want you here in the Pacific NW telling us how to live. We like your tourist dollars, but you won’t like it here cuz it rains a lot and we have a lot of cloudy days.

  • Jeffrey Ellis

Man, all I want to do is go fishing.

  • Florenca Mcdowell

Neither does she . She belongs in a mental hospital. Like Conyers its okay to assault women IF SHE DOES NOT KNOW THEM.

    • ABCDE

Oh, Conyers is the icon! And DACAs are the smartest and the brightest ever walked on Earth.. Pelosi knows so much that it is time for her to go to jail

  • Florenca Mcdowell

no more money for CA. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Mountain_Dew_518

      AMEN!!!!!

  • Fred Barton

The Democratic Party could have something to offer positively if it wanted to. It doesn’t want to. Countering the Democratic Party is a waste of time. It is like trying to paper over a rotten wall. Until it changes, go with the better ideas that have a good basis and structure. The Gov. of California says the People come first, not the ideology. That is a good idea, just not a Democratic one.

  • TOB46

Pelosi’s comments are repulsive. She rammed Obama care down the throats of the American People, and she has the gall to tell anyone who essentially disagrees with her warped ideology to leave. Lmcyber’s comments about CA having a surplus are so wrong. The state doesn’t count the billions of unfunded pension liabilities that we carry “Off the Books” . Brown is squandering billions on a train to nowhere while our roads are crumbling, and our water system is inadequate to handle demand. He panders to the illegals draining our resources.
Both Brown and Pelosi think you can tax your way to prosperity. For them it’s true, they been gorging themselves at the public trough for way too much time, and I’ll bet a lot of the legislation she got passed greased the skids for her husband’s business success.

  • Ginger Firestone

Which people come first in her opinion, the illegals? the parasites on welfare (not to be confused with those who really just need a hand up, not a hand out) This from the woman who told her party they had to vote for the Obamacare bill before they could read what was in it. Hey, how about this? Tell her to stick her head up where the sun don’t shine and the same for Jerry Brown and let the state go back to being the wonderful place it was when I was growing up.

  • Howlingmad

DAMN that broad is Stupid” ! . . . Brown, has AWAY’S BEEN STUPID !, so hes “No Surprise” !.

People in California that pay large Property Taxes, Income Taxes and Mortgage Interest are Rich so Taxes on the Rich in California are increasing. It is the Liberal Way, they should be celebrating.

  • Yosemite Sam

Nancy, Nancy, Nancy, you’ve always been a day late and dollar short. Republicans and Conservatives alike have been flowing out of California for over twenty years. It won’t be long before all the brain power and genuine brawn that built California into what it once was is completely emptied from the California tax roles. My Gawd Nancy, you truly give dumb blondes a bad name. It appears it’s time for you to visit your local taxidermist for an embalming fluid change.

  • mike

What a stupid statement. Nancy and Jerry are just full of stupid things to say. Keep the hate alive and well guys.

  • Harry Pearson

To Nancy Pelosi, if my interpretation of your rambling here is correct, you feel that anyone who disagrees with your party, with your ideology, with your failed policies under Obama, should leave the state of Cahl-e-forn-ea, Well, since they are the only force holding the state together now, are you ready to lose your job? Because I seriously doubt the Mexico will send a representative to Congress when they do take over. I find it appalling that you, and the other Democrats, all feel that anyone who dares disagree with you is wrong, and you are the only path to salvation. You have a lot to learn about reality, Ma’am.

moonbeam and dementia — make a great couple. These 2 PsOS have put illegal immigrants, radical muslims, gays before their own citizens and they want to condemn a tax reform bill. With any luck — this reform bill will be the end of her and moonbeam’s worlds.

  • AnneMarie Iannamico

Pelosi should move back to California. She is completely unhinged and has been for years.

  • Billy Bong

After the tax bill is passed, it’s time to establish term limits on all elected positions and begin shrinking the government. Also, we need to establish a nepotism clause to avoid allowing dynastic rule, which should also include spouses. It’s time for the country to be ran by citizen statesmen and women, not “career” politicians.

  • Betty Sakai

I am a Republican who has always lived in California. My father was a traveling salesman for a hardware store wholesaler out of Sacramento. My parents were not rich, Christians, honest, and compassionate. Like them, I work to leave this world a little better than when I entered it. Many Republicans are like me. We want less taxes and smaller government. The group-oriented who are Democrats want more taxes (paid for other people) and Big Brother controlling government. California suffers from very wealthy career politicians who emulate the Ever-Ready Rabbit drumming along appeasing problems but never solving them. Our politicians are the elite and privileged — very wealthy people who’ve been around for a very long time– who now have power along with their money. Is it time for term limits, for restricting campaign financing to constituents? Should we demand those we elect understand money enough to balance the public budgets?

  • ted towny

Hey Pelosi, Republicans as well as Democrats have been leaving long before now. The old habit of having ultra high state taxes just so you could deduct them from Federsl taxes is over! The rest of the country is tired of helping give you people handouts .

  • shane Power

Im not a Republican or a nazicrat. Now that there empire is crumbling. You can see what the old elites for there true selves. Time we dumped both parties. Eliminate this disgusting shadow government who has destroyed our great county and betrayed our constitution. Both parties have lied and betrayed the people of the United States. It’s time we took our country back

  • sophie bonner

Two faced Nancy lives in a State that is running people out because of their politicians left wing ideas. People are leaving by the droves because of the soaring taxes. If she hates the federal tax reform bill she should have chosen to come to the bargaining table to be part of the process, instead of resisting any changes and forbidding her democrat minions in the House from voting for it too.

  • Jesse Bowles Jr.

there’s a reason hat cal. has been losing residents at the rate of almost 2000 people a day for the last ten years.”guv moonbeam” and “the mannequin” are just two of the reasons… but then we might hope that they were all republicans, just to save their souls when cal drops into the pacific. lets just hope pelosi is there for the occasion….

  • Kathryn Jordan

No one’s ideology should come first when passing laws in Washington, DC or in the states themselves. When one focuses on ideology and not try to compromise with the other side, you get what we have currently in Washington. Both Pelosi and Brown should not be “forcing” their ideology on the people of California; the people of California can be happy that they have an election for a new governor next year. California may become a non-sanctuary state under a different governor.

    • Linda Conino

I won’t whole my breath on this.

      • Kathryn Jordan

I won’t either. I hope that people like Pelosi and Gov. Brown get it through their thick skulls that their own ideology cannot be forced onto people.

  • Jeannie

WHOA!!!! nasty nancy….who died and left you boss? Hitler? You want a nazi state that tells us what to do, what to say, and how to feel.. Guess what!!!! Got news for you, you old hag….I will leave California when I am DAMN GOOD AND READY TO!!!!! You will NOT tell me what to do…YOu sorry POS’S have gotten way too high and mighty. Telling us we can not say husband or wife…but we have to say spouse is just ONE example. BULL HOCKEY…..you can kiss my REPUBLICAN A$$…..

    • Mountain_Dew_518

I hope the Republicans can take back the state of California. If DemonRats stay in charge and they go bankrupt then we should NOT Bail them out. NO tax $$ should go to the DemonRat state.

  • Linda Conino

Pelosi needs to retire. She is out the box. Democrats never gave a dam about our debt, 20 trillion we are in debt, if they really cared they would have help people out of poverty instead of enabling people.

  • Murphmeister

Texans are already complaining about Californians coming there and bringing their philosophy, so . . . . Here in New England we are happy that our miserable weather keeps them away. Three months of sunshine is enough.

  • Robert Jourdan

I have a better solution, why don’t Calif. suceed from the union. This country would be better off without those weed head liberals ! God Bless America !

  • HelloFromTO

F*** you, Nancy. I was born here. Why don’t you and your ilk leave? Go somewhere far, far away!

  • Philly is a toilet

This is why I voted for Trump. The complete dismantling and death of Socialism in the US. If Nancy and the rest of the Democrats don’t like it, then there are flights leaving American airspace every few hours. Go to Europe! MAGA

  • Koaboy

LOLL , coming from the woman who cut off the water to hundreds of farmers cuz she was worried about some mini fishies on the coast. While her Wineries
Got plenty water. Nasty Nasty B……well let’s just say female dog .

  • dragonfire777

    Nancy the senile wacko.

  • Koaboy

Are they mad or what?! Not liking that the Fed isn’t going to write off the maxi high state taxes……….Pelosi money drying up ?

  • Bill Harrison

This old bag is just like Maxine Waters. Both are crazy blowhards.

  • 3indigo13

They are in despair because the tax bill will create jobs, wealth and improve the economy so dramatically it might insure the reelection of Trump

  • Roy Veteto

oh yes pelosi , who a week ago called conyers an icon

  • Dutch Star

Pelosi and Moonbeam are right, I have left CA. I sold my CA business assets and closed my business. I bought a 3500 sq. Ft. House on a 35 acre ranch in Oregon for the price of a 1br Loft in SF. The ladder of opportunity in California looks more like a hamster wheel. The middle class with any grey matter has or is leaving CA. Once the tax base of the state has been sufficiently hollowed out and the states pensions drive CA into bankruptcy, then and only then will the fruitloops in the land of Flakes, Nuts and Fruits realize their idiocy. It can’t come any sooner.

  • fog donkey

The way you tell people what to do, how to vote, you would make a good dictator when California secedes from the Union Nancy.

    • Trade_Seeker

Like Robespierre , she will be guillotined by the same mob she represents.

      • fog donkey

        That would be so sweet

        • Naval Lint

It’s already started! I LOVE watching the Dems eating their own!

      • fog donkey

That would be great but would insist it be public and/or recorded for television to make other crooked politicians think twice about what they do and say. I only hope I live to see the day Trade_Seeker!

  • Janet

I would actually suggest just the opposite. I think Pelosi, Feinstein, Brown, and all Democrats from the top down should resign and move out of the state as Brown is killing us with tax after tax after tax, not enforcing immigration laws or the Rule of Law at all, causing the state to lose it’s rating on Dunn and Bradstreet, and leaving us so in debt that there is a very good chance that CA may have to file for bankruptcy. Wish I knew what they spent all the money on….could it be Brown’s train or benefits paid for each employee?

    • Naval Lint

Nah…nobody ELSE wants those two anywhere NEAR them. Y’all will just have to LOCK THEM UP YOURSELVES!

  • Pelosi , Daughter of a Baltimore ward healer….Translation , Crooked pol with his hands in everybody’s pockets. Jerry Brown , son of crooked pol and governor of Cal. 2 second generation crooks of La Famiglia Demacratico . Both moon struck , both crooked as the day is long and both in serious need of help for their mental illness.

    • Mountain_Dew_518

I think they are beyond help. If they ever had brain at all it has been fried and is time to abort them.

  • Vaquero

Piglosi hates the bill. The bill must be really good.

  • Publius40

I love it when Pelosi and her ilk scream like stuck pigs. You know the Republicans are doing something right when that happens.

  • BillRiedel

Hey, here’s a radical idea. LOWER your state tax rate and it won’t impact your citizens so much when state taxes are no longer decuctable. Why should the rest of us subsidize you and Illinois and New York?

  • Victor F

Nancy Pisshole will soon be history.
Opposing a tax cut and opposing jobs coming back is political suicide.
In my opinion CA will become a red state.

    • Trade_Seeker

I don’t know. Too many stupid people in California.

      • Victor F

When I look at the map of the election, all the counties that are blue are where the big cities are. In big cities election fraud is much easier and CA has so many illegals voting. We can’t judge EVERYONE by the Hollywood libturds.

      • Mountain_Dew_518

And too many illegals and felons voting there as well.

  • meddah4

Pelosi’s just has hot air left.

  • Lazer

Middle class pays the taxes bulk of the taxes in CA. Since they want to get rid of the middle class as Moonbeam states, who will pay for all of these welfare and or illegal recipients? The state is so far underwater financially perhaps they should leave the union – maybe then NK will send them a nuke or they will encounter an earthquake – who will help them then????

  • MajorMajor411

And there you have it folks….that Communist loving Pelosi at it again. Let’s see if she does anymore of her faux pas (blunders) when speaking again. She’s a hoot! SF voters must really love her…they keep voting her dumb-ass back time and time again. She’s right up there with Moon-Beam Brown.

  • James Slagowski

It is only Armageddon for big government types like Pelosi , Schumer and the like. Californicators such as Pelosi must have done some serious drugs in their past and that is why they are getting senile early. I know Governor Moonbeam did, he has even stated that he did.

  • Mai Tran

Californian kick Jerry B. & Pelosi out of their chair, take back your state before it too late

    • Mountain_Dew_518

I agree. But with all the illegals and felons voting, I imagine that is going to be hard to do. Hopefully most of the DemonRats will eventually see what is going on and they are being used as pawns and will change and get rid of every DemonRat in office and yes Take Back their Sate.

  • generalJed

That makes two states, California and New York, where Christians and conservatives are not welcome by their leaders, NY Gov. Cuomo and, Now, Cal. Dem. Rep. Nancy Pelosi. The people who elect such social and mental misfits (just listen to Pelosi speak) should crowd into those two states or North Korea and leave the rest of us alone.

  • generalJed

By the way, Nevada is growing geologically by .25 inch per year, pushing California Westward. The only problem is that it will take eons to totally push California into the pacific!

    • Naval Lint

Maybe if we line up along the San Andreus (smic) Fault with LONG prybars? We could call it the Billion Man Dump!

      • Mountain_Dew_518

        Love it.

  • ARJAY

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What leftist, libTURD democRAT @$$holes they are!!!!

  • 1johnnyp

Dear Nancy Pelosi, Today’s selection — from the Personal Memoirs of Ulysses S. Grant. In 1845, the U.S. annexed the Republic of Texas. Mexico considered the land at the southern edge of Texas, the land between the Rio Grande River and the Nueces River, to be Mexican territory, while the U.S. claimed this territory as its own. The U.S., under President James Polk, tried to purchase the land, but Mexico refused to sell. According to most historians, that refusal caused the U.S. to intentionally provoke Mexico into a war. Polk knew that if he proposed war to Congress, it would be rejected, but if Mexico fired first on U.S. troops, then Congress would be angered and would readily vote for war. So in 1846, U.S. troops were moved to the edge of the disputed territory with strict instructions from Polk not to fire first. The Mexican troops ignored the U.S. troops, so they increased the provocation by moving into the disputed territory. Mexican troops obliged by attacking — killing 12 U.S. soldiers and capturing 52 others — and Congress moved quickly to declare a war that the U.S. easily won. It was a war to which many Americans, including Abraham Lincoln, objected. But the reward for this war was far greater than just the disputed territory in Texas. It was the entire Southwest, including what is now the state of California — one of the largest territorial expansions in U.S. history. Ulysses Grant, who fought in this Mexican-American War, described the provocation in his biography:

“A more efficient army for its number and armament, I do not believe ever fought a battle than the one commanded by General Taylor in his first two engagements on Mexican — or Texan soil.

Mexico in 1824. Alta California is the northwestern-most federal territory.

“The presence of United States troops on the edge of the disputed territory furthest from the Mexican settlements, was not sufficient to provoke hostilities. We were sent to provoke a fight, but it was essential that Mexico should commence it. It was very doubtful whether Congress would declare war; but if Mexico should attack our troops, the Executive could announce, ‘Whereas, war exists by the acts of, etc.,’ and prosecute the contest with vigor. Once initiated there were but few public men who would have the courage to oppose it. Experience proves that the man who obstructs a war in which his nation is engaged, no matter whether right or wrong, occupies no enviable place in life or history. Better for him, individually, to advocate ‘war, pestilence, and famine,’ than to act as obstructionist to a war already begun. The history of the defeated rebel will be honorable hereafter, compared with that of the Northern man who aided him by conspiring against his government while protected by it. The most favorable posthumous history the stay-at-home traitor can hope for is — oblivion.

Captain Charles A. May’s squadron of the 2nd Dragoons slashes through the Mexican Army lines. Resaca de la Palma, Texas, May 9, 1846

“Mexico showing no willingness to come to the Nueces to drive the invaders from her soil, it became necessary for the ‘invaders’ to approach to within a convenient distance to be struck. Accordingly, preparations were begun for moving the army to the Rio Grande, to a point near Matamoras. It was desirable to occupy a position near the largest centre of population possible to reach, without absolutely invading territory to which we set up no claim whatever.” (Author; Ulysses S. Grant); Personal Memoirs of Ulysses S. Grant.

OKAY, HERE IS A CHANCE FOR LIBERALS TO REALLY STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT. We can get 2 birds with 1 stone. Give California back to Mexico. It was theirs in 1845 and then, poof, gone to the U.S. Show your support for your Mexican amigos. What’s more, you ask? All residents would immeadiately live in another country.

  • Pat Prybil

As a Republican, I can’t imagine anyone wanting to live in California to begin with. I don’t think Pelosi has a leg to stand on. She helped to give California it’s negative reputation. My husband and I have toyed with the idea of buying property in Boulder,Arizona. That way when California drops into the ocean, we’ll have oceanfront property at a fraction of the cost. I would never spend my hard earned money buying in a state that’s full of Nuts,Flakes, and Fruits. The good old Granola State can go pound sand. Pelosi is all of the above like all the other Liberals, and ILLEGALS that have ruined what once was a beautiful state !!! Go climb under your rock Nancy, nobody cares what you think.

  • David Rose

Nancy Polute-cy still trying to polite the minds of her “subjects”.

  • JWH (NRA LIFE)

That is the “MOST RADICAL STATEMENT” PELOSI has ever made relative to legitimate residents of this state that don’t agree with her opinions!! It takes major gall and arrogance to make that demand!! It is an example of her demented mental state!! Ignore her and anything she says in the future, if you are smart!!! I will not be told to leave my home state because I am a Conservative Republican and agree with their platform!! I was born and raised in California 76 years ago and have a permanent resident of this state for all that time!! My family ancestors cleaned up corruption in the California state government in the early 1900’s and they were Republicans!! The “DEMS” are a “HIGH TAX and corrupt Party!! History shows that!!!

    • Mountain_Dew_518

Peelosi and your Gov. Moonbeam needs to move to Mexico or any other country. They DO NOT OWN the United States. Peelosi and the DemonRats and illegals sure as heck don’t mind taking the Republicans tax $$ for themselves. They sure don’t mind calling for help when there is a disaster like fires, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, etc…Well then I say let them fight their own battles without help from taxpayers. Let the taxpayers of California pay for their own disasters.
JWH, I don’t mean not to help those like yourself or the ones that are poor, elderly, and sick that do not agree with Peelosi. You should not have to move and if anyone moves let them move to another country. Preferably to Venezuela or North Korea. They won’t get away with what they are doing here in some other country. Seriously though, we should help you guys to be able to live in peace and enjoy your home but with the likes of the 9th circuit judges, Moonbeam, Peelosi, and Demonrats they want the taxpayer $$ for themselves instead of helping you guys. Hopefully come election time they will be shown the door out of the country and you guys can live in peace and harmony.
We love you guys that know the truth and are trying. My heart bleeds for you and I pray that they will get rid of all the illegals for your safety. I have relatives out their in California and worry about her and her son being there. Bless you and stay safe!!!!

      • JWH (NRA LIFE)

Thank you for your kind thoughts and response!! I am a gentle person until provoked or threatened and am trained and capable of defending myself and my family if need be!! I still carry a “MASTER CLASS RATING IN FIREARMS COMPETITION” and could still take out illegals or members of MS!# with “HEAD SHOTS” at 25 yd., if need be, with my 1911A1 45 ACP PIN GUN!! I can still go out on my lot an cut down the dead 90′ pine trees with my Commercial chainsaw as needed!! This is why I will not permit The Radical DEMS to push me around at any time!!! Get the picture, I can be a very nasty SOB when the proper situation arises with a justified response!!! I will “DIE WITH MY BOOTS ON”!!!

        chainsaw!!

        • Mountain_Dew_518

I get the picture and it is a really good one. I don’t blame you for standing up and fighting back. I am so happy that you are very well trained in firearms.
When it comes to family, friends, country, I can be an mean as the rest of them and although I may not be as highly trained as you are or so many other, I will not go down without a big fight. It will either be them or me but preferably them.
Again, take care and many blessings to you. Stay Safe!!

    • ABCDE

There is no need to justify why you are not leaving.

  • Robalou01

Is this analogous to Hilter telling the Jews to leave Germany if they knew what’s good for them?

    • Stephine

Amazing isn’t it. The dumbo-crats spout all this “got to accept the gay, illegals, and can not prejudice against them and have to cater to them. And then turns around and says all republicans should “get out”. Wow that sounds like hate speech against a group of people.

Oh wait since they don’t believe in our ideologies then we don’t have to be nice and accept them. What a bunch of f’ing hypocrites, Do what I say not what I do.

  • Janis

For once in my life I agree with Nancy Pelosi. I also believe that all Republicans should start a mass exodus out of Mexifornia. That state is lost to any Republican running for President, so if enough Republicans leave and the state population decreases they will lose Electoral votes. Also these Republicans should go and live in purple states to make them turn red. Great idea Nancy. No wonder many members of your party want to replace you as the House Democratic leader. Stuttering old fool.

  • Kenny Albert

Only democrat ideaology comes first. Have you ever known them to NOT lie to the citizens of the U.S.?

  • John Minnick

The Conservatives SHOULD leave California, ASAP, as well as all major businesses in the state! And you know WHY? Once the Conservatives and big businesses leave, ain’t gonna be anyone left, except illegal aliens, and those on public assistance! Hey, Governor Moonbeam! Who are you gonna raise taxes on THEN, genuis? The corrupt Democrat politicos? Yeah, sure…

  • Harry Trawick

Democrats criticizing someone for voting based on ideology????? REALLY?? How about obamacare? I do believe I remember pelosi saying “Pass it, then you can read it”
By the way, GOP, finish growing a set and abolish that travesty of ideology over what is good for the Nation!

  • Trevor Bogle

California is a very nice state, it is the DIRTY Politicians like jerry Brown, Maxine Waters, Nancy Poloci, and the rest of them, that is hurting you folks. VOTE them out of OFFICE in 2018 and 2020, and your state will be better off

    • Mark Thomas

That would be wonderful, but it is not going to happen. Like Obama once said, elections have consequences, and when Democrats win they don’t waste the opportunity to stack things in their favor. No, California’s last days of Democrat leadership will have to play out like the fall of Romania’s communist dictator Ceausescu. Only after they have bankrupted the state and can no longer pay the state employee pension funds will the loons of California figure out what they are doing.

    • ABCDE

Too many illegals are voting for their freebies.

  • scrap1ron

The good folks in California would be well served if Pelosi and her fellow quislings had a Kate Steinle accident.

  • James Hopkins

    Nancy Pelosi should leave America.

  • Timothy Liptow

This nutcase is over the edge. Time for her to retire, actually past time. How can they keep reelcting her?

  • Who’s she, the Queen of California? Have another botox shot and go away.

  • Debbie Hogan Tate

Idiots…all of them. If she was talking about Obamacare I would agree with her. As they passed that in the middle of the night and never even offered the Republicans to vote on it! She is an old senile idiot but an idiot non the less!

  • Anthony

Suggesting that a certain group of citizens living in California must leave the state just because they don’t agree with YOUR political party and ideology is biased “group-think” – the very thing you are accusing them of, Ms. Pelosi. It is very dangerous when a government begins to demand that certain classes of people must go, simply because they hold beliefs and ideas that differ from the party in power. Think about that. The world saw how that worked out for Germany in the late 1930s and 1940s. Do you really want a ONE-PARTY government, where nobody has differing views and unique ideas towards solutions to inevitable problem-solving? NO WONDER the STATE of KALIFORNIA is viewed as so screwy. Sure, the party system is messed up and often interferes with good government, but maybe what is needed is MORE parties rather than ONE, and embrace the fact that there may be many ideas and solutions available as long as you don’t have a single group-think mentality.

    • ABCDE

It is too complicated for Pelosi. She thinks it is much better just to get rid off all opponents!

      • Anthony

Agreed. I don’t believe Pelosi ever proved herself to be much of a great thinker. She knew her political voting base, and with the democratik machine running things in Kalifornia, that was enough for her, all these years.

  • Why should I have to surrender ONE SQUARE MILLIMETER of this great country to crooked/insane politicians, illegal aliens, or socialists? I submit that MORE conservatives need to go to California in order to vote out idiots like the ones in the article! Note to crooked politicians and liberals: it’s YOU that need to leave California!! MAGA!!!

    • ABCDE

Let’s make California a California again!

  • jlb6262

Of course she says its the end of the world…(the evil liberal nut job world) everything is reversed when you love satan. Shut your pie hole and sit down pelosi . Future prisoners have no say and should be gagged.

  • Jesse Hayes

Why don’t we do like in the movie Escape from L.A? Seperate California from the rest of the U.S. Build a wall. Put all the illegals, criminals, demacrats, ect. there. And enforce a shot on sight policy for anyone trying to come back.

  • metalchristian

    I bathe in liberal tears!

  • ImOffendedTreatMeSpecial

If there are any conservatives left in the Granola State flee while you still can. leave it for the liberals and illegals and head for someplace sane.

  • brooksmd

Waiting for ol Maxipads to say Trump needs to be impeached because of the tax plan. Matter of fact, ol Maxipads has been kind of quiet lately. She still absorbing oxygen or did she kick off and I missed it?

  • Linda Abernathy

Linda says STAY if your a Republican in California and take back your state!

  • Washington Watchdog

    Is she okay mentally?

    • ImOffendedTreatMeSpecial

She is a liberal, that should answer you question.

    • Mark Thomas

That appears doubtful, but her staff depends on her for their livelihood. Therefore, they trot her out for news conferences and cross their fingers. The media does there best to edit out all the stammering and blithering, so by the time her comments get to the evening new broadcast they make her answers look short and concise. They used to do a similar thing with Obama’s five to ten minute answers, by evening he was so precise, they could say, “yes, yes, folks, he is. no doubt, the smartest man in the room”.

  • True Conservative

It sounds lie Pelosi, as Hilary have really gone over the edge. These two loonie libs belong in the loonie bin. Pelosi should be taken out of California and dropped off in a place far, far away……as long as it’s not FLORIDA.

  • Kathryn Jordan

No one (Pelosi and Brown) have the right to force their own ideology on anyone in state or nation. California gets a new governor next year; hopefully it will not be a sanctuary state too much longer. I haven’t lived in CA since 1985 so haven’t seen the drastic change in legislation, the increase in gas prices as well as the highest taxes. From where I live, I see the corruption and deception that these two have for the people of California. I can only hope that the next governor will be better than Jerry Brown.

    • Mark Thomas

It appears that their next pretty face, not that Jerry looks all that good, but Californian voters are a feeble bunch and fall for fluff, is Gavin Newsom. He was once Mayor of San Francisco and his claim to fame was handing out marriage licenses to gay couples long before it was considered legal. In the meantime he has climbed into the lieutenant governor position, a position devoid of any real responsibility, and will pop out of that hibernation and proclaim to the state that he is vastly qualified to be the next governor. He should be a hit with the drones and could better his chances if he discovers some forgotten connection to Califorino ancestors. Maybe he could change his last name like the former mayor of Los Angeles did, maybe something like Gavin Newsomiento.

  • Kathryn Jordan

If you think an 81 year old father and a 77 year old stepmother is going to listen to their daughter, you are out of your mind. CA is the only place they want to stay until they pass away. I won’t tell them otherwise. They have made up their minds.

    • Jim Strong

There are a lot of ways to get rid of snakes.

  • Tricia Harris

Why do the people in California keep electing these kooks? I keep wondering that. But then again the jury in San Francisco found that illegal alien murderer, who killed Kate Steinle, innocent too because “the gun went off accidentally” and “he didn’t intend to ‘kill’ her”. O! M! G! Maybe it would be a good idea for Republicans to get the heck out of the insane factory out there and let the San Andreas Fault go ahead and dump the crazies into the Pacific Ocean! It would sure help to get rid of a bunch of costs to the rest of us and rid the country of a bunch of crazy loons!

    • ImOffendedTreatMeSpecial

Right, he accidentally picked up the gun, accidentally pointed it at her and accidentally pulled the trigger.

      • Tricia Harris

Yep, and the jury accidentally found the murderer not guilty. God help us

  • Tricia Harris

The jury in San Francisco found that illegal alien murderer, who killed Kate Steinle, innocent too because “the gun went off accidentally” and “he didn’t intend to ‘kill’ her”. O! M! G! So you are telling me that the majority of people in a state that produced one of the most stupid juries in the history of our country, continues to elect two of the biggest imbecilic a-holes in Washington – Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, elected a complete moron to be the Governor, produced the likes of Feinstein and other nutjobs, are perfectly fine? WOW. It sounds like you are one of the flakes out there if you think these loons are sane in any respect.

  • Louie Rey

If Ms. Plastic Surgery really wants to clean up California she should pack up her belongings, along with those of all the other nutjobs in the state government (Waters, Feinstein, Brown, Boxer, Schiff, etc.) and leave the country and go to what they perceive to be nirvana in their incredibly feeble minds. Venezuela fits that profile to a T. Only thing is they might have to commit to combat as they try and make it to their new homes. The only thing going on there is rioting in the streets. What a joke she is but not the funny kind.

    • ImOffendedTreatMeSpecial

Prison is the liberal paradise. Free lodging, free meals, free health care, free TV, free gym and the government telling you what you can and can’t do all the time.

  • Linda Conino

Not in Louisiana, either. Send her to Chicago, with Obumer, too.

  • Brent

Strange, piglosi understands the people come first, yet all her actions seem to indicate her communist party line comes first. What’s wrong here?

  • Brent

Either the voter fraud there is phenomenally insane (possible), or your family and friends would do well to live elsewhere. I don’t see a good future for California, given where they are now, and the rate of decent they’re currently experiencing.

    • Papa Bear

As I said earlier for various reasons some or most who want to move cant!!

      • SkyGunner

Well, they need to send an old Nam radio call, “ Broken Arrow”!! Means an American unit is about to be overrun, send any and all help. If not, those ‘sanctuary ‘ city’s are gonna swell in population Look like Mexico City), consume more and more foodstuffs, gasoline……..WATER! L.A. will try to bull it’s way outward, using all those sanctuary thugs to intimidate and remove obstacles to their taking over strategic assets, sort of like a Recon-in-force for Mexican Federal Army to move up the coast, taking cities and farms on the way. Might not stop in L.A. ( wouldn’t have to worry about that if obamatollah, or billary was in Office) thy might go on to San Fran while they have the manpower, logistics in place and a welcome ceremony given by their Recon-in-Force Brown Shirt troops. This is a very likely scenario if those cities in rebellion aren’t brought under control. I’m at such a loss for words about sanctuary cities that I don’t know how to act. Those cities are in “ OPEN REBLLION”!! Armed socialist and communists Brown Shirts are taking orders from the political party that lost the prez election, who are calling for major disruptions in our major cities, suppressing FREE SPEECH at any rally THEY don’t approve of, taking away all weapons from the citizens; increasing existing tax’s and inventing new ones;setting up actual, MILITARY STYLE AMBUSHES against the police C’mon C-I-C-. You gonna let these Brown Shirt thugs start running our county? The next step( if the demnazis keep following the same plans used by nazis, before and durng WW II, is build up the SS, make them personally loyal to obamatollah and/or billary, not the people of the countryLetting sanctuary cities do as they please, is the same as Savanna declaring itself a sanctuary city, therefore they didn’t have to obey any orders from our prez.

        • Papa Bear

Have you lived in California before it was taken over by the lieberals?? It “was” a nice place to live. I moves several decades ago because I refused to put up with lieberal BS punched a few out because of their BS MOST people have families Jobs or other reasons that can’t move.

I am miffed you mentioned Nazis as if you know all about Nazism.

It really makes my blood boil when anyone who was not a victim of or witness to the perpetrations of the Nazi party claim to be experts and qualified to make comment and opine on the subject as if they have. I certainly like to know why some people claim being experts when referencing Nazism.
I can indeed confirm to know all about what Nazism is and inform you that I have indeed been witness to and a victim of those perpetrations.
Of my family I am the only person still alive to report on such atrocities having seen my grandparents cousins and such lined up in the street and summarily executed.
I can bear witness to similar atrocities perpetrated on other families in our village. Although I was a young boy of six I vividly remember the circumstances and cause of this behavior of the Gestapo. All one needed to do is disagree with the Nazi Party to guarantee a visit by the SS or Gestapo.
My father was an industrialist who manufactured electronic communications equipment. The Wehrmacht demanded he provide equipment to the Luftwaffe and Army and join the Nazi Party.
His refusal meant we had to flee Germany and seek asylum in the US. The year was 1943 and it took nearly a year to finally arrive at Ellis Island. During this year we at times fought with the French resistance. I remember hiding by day and traveling at night carrying ammunition and explosives. All this for safe passage over the Pyrenees into Spain then to America
What I am seeing in the Demorrhoidic Leftopathic Corruptocrat Party is the exact same ethos, attitude and mindset of the Nazi Party and the Demorrhoidic Leftopathic Corruptocrat Party have the GALL to label conservatives Nazis??? I suggest they EDUCATE themselves (if they are able) and stop being so utterly stupid!!!
I would certainly like to know why these One Dimensional Regressive Hypocritical Politically Correct Socialistic Demorrhoidic Leftopathic Corruptocratic MORONS continue to claim being experts when referencing Nazism. To listen to these MORONS one would think they were witness to or victims of the perpetrations of the Nazi party.
What I am seeing in the Demorrhoidic Leftopathic Corruptocrat Party is the exact same ethos, attitude and mindset of the Nazi Party and those of you who are Leftopathic MORONS and have the GALL to label conservatives Nazis??? I suggest you Lieberals EDUCATE yourselves (that is, if you are able) and stop being so utterly stupid!!!

          • SkyGunner

Apparently you didn’t read my whole comment. No where did I say anything nice about them, show me if I did! I don’twant to talk to someone who could’ve been an Allie,if he gets out of control by reading part of piece and losing it. Don tell me what I’m qualied for and not qualified for, you’re so far in left field that you think i said I’m a Demnazi! Moron! You even said the exact same thing I did about how the nazis and demnazis tactics are the same. The more I read of your message, the more I don’t like you and don’t want to be on your side. I don’t know where you came up it’s me calling them conservative nazi, again read my message again, then SHOW ME where I wrote that! Again, you repeat th same feelings about nazis that I wrote in mine. Yeah, re-read them, but don’t message me again. I have nothing else to say to-a person who’s apparently an imbecile.

      • glen thompson

“most who want to move can’t”? – How silly of you Papa Bear. This is America, you can move anytime you want and go anywhere you want. Only thing to stop you is the lack of will.

        • Papa Bear

Is that so??? I was not referencing any legal impediment but physical emotional and most of all FINANCIAL aspect of not being able to move. I suppose you are like most lieberal men and have no conscious so you would on a whim just pick up and go leaving others to take up the slack (or more accurate you didn’t contribute to the household)

Stupid people like you are like glow sticks. I feel like snapping them in half and shaking the dog crap out of them until the light comes on, but alas most of the time that light never comes on, and even if it did you’d still be in the dark!!!

          • glen thompson

Another totally nonsensical rant brought to you by a very unstable person in need of professional help. Lord help us all if he ever goes his meds.

          • Papa Bear

Have you ever listened to someone talk and said to yourself their cornbread ain’t done in the middle? It appears that you have been taken out of the oven far too early!!

If brains were lard you wouldn’t have enough to grease a skillet!!

          • glen thompson

Seek help Papa Bear, seek help. You may think it’s too late, but don’t despair.

          • Papa Bear

Perhaps you should follow your own advice. Nothing wrong with you that a good psychiatrist couldn’t fix. Well then again I could be wrong about that most likely I am!!!

  • slk5

    it’s getting really nasty!!!

  • CBUJAN

Pelosi is a C_ _ _ ! How people can vote for her must have no common sense

    • Papa Bear

Piglosi is just what conservatives need in the house She is the antithesis of conservatism The best argument against liberalism is a five-minute conversation with the average democrat

  • Joseph111

yeah, we know nancy – we are the “deplorables” ….

    • Greg

      Thank God!!!

  • Papa Bear

ANYTHING the Democrats are against I SUPPORT!!

Should Californians who support the tax bill leave there wouldn’t be any revenue to steal from their pockets and the rest of Commiefornication would cease to exist then maybe we will need to fight the Mexicans to get it back and start anew!(that is if there is any interest) It was a great place to live that was until it was invaded by Demorrhoidic Leftopathic Corruptocratic Lieberals. I fear in a few years the entire state will look like Detroit or Tijuana!!

  • bluewarrior13

Why doesn’t she leave and go back to Baltimore?

    • Papa Bear

the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ she is sucking out of the taxpayer why do you suppose Piglosi is anti-tax reform??
      The Democrat party is no longer the party of your fathers!! Lieberals are now 100% Anti-American By adding Anti-Free Speech 100% Anti–Freedom 100% Anti–Life 100% Anti-Religion 100% Anti-Family 100% Anti-Truth 100% Anti-Business 100% Anti-Growth 100% Anti-Free Enterprise 100% Anti-Gun 100% Anti-Constitution 100% Anti-Patriotic 100% Anti-Responsibility 100% Anti-Liberty 100% Anti-God 100% Anti-Character 100% Anti-Energy

Conservatives consider each day as Independence Day while Lieberals consider each day April 15!!

  • glen thompson

“Not my fault…” Oh, but it is. You are out there in California, and what are you doing about it? Nada. That makes it your fault.

    • Papa Bear

So being an idiot isn’t YOUR fault?? If not then who??? Only idiots and morons make blanket statements while not knowing the facts!!

      • glen thompson

I see you are allowing your irrational preconceived notions to cloud you judgement. Sad.

        • Papa Bear

Really??? Project much in your state of dementia???

          • glen thompson

My, my, my Papa Bear….Can’t come with one thing constructive you must result to false personal attack? Certainly is a sad state you find yourself in there Papa Bear.

          • Papa Bear

Not the LEAST bit FALSE Glen. And your being in denial merely compounds your misery!!!

          • glen thompson

Wow, Papa Bear now you are saying you’re accusing me of being in “state of dementia” is actual and not just a meaningless loose and false statement. You realize that makes it a libelous. Better be careful Papa Bear. Recent case law says you cannot hide behind a fake internet pseudonym and still not expect to be held.

          • Papa Bear

I have never accused anyone of anything I merely state FACTS. In order for you to collect from a libel suit you must first prove libel First you mist prove that what I said is false and as I say I never say anything that I am not 100% sure of second you must prove to have suffered a financial loss Have you lost work (or do you work) seems to me you are on the internet during working hours meaning you don’t work or stealing company time not
doing what you are being paid to do!!or So Glen which is it?? Anyway one looks at it you are OUT OF GAS!!!

          • glen thompson

Obviously knowledge of the law is no one of your strong points now is Papa Bear?

          • Papa Bear

i have more knowledge of law that you ever will should you have ten lifetimes to catch up. Perhaps you should look into libel law

I just love it when you moronic lieberals project your stupidity onto others
You Demorrhoidic Leftopathic Corruptocrats can have all the lights on and still be in the dark because no one is ever home!!!

    • SkyGunner

Glen. It seems to me he wants the rest of the country to bail them out. Sorry pb, would if we could, but y’all have to have initiative, even though the demnazis do it, we can’t vote for you in your state elections. You talk to him, I can read what he’s writing, but it’s so jumbled up, I don’t really know what he’s saying. He said I was a conservative nazi( didn’t know those two words went together) then described what they are and what needed to be done, using exactly the same words I did. Maybe you can get him to understand that we can’t save them, can’t even help them until they start Voting in different people.

  • Jim Williams

She is right–NO REAL AMERICAN BELONGS IN THAT SOCIALIST SO CALLED STATE, JUST ME

  • Papa Bear

NOT SO most people in Commiefornication come there from back east to get away from the weather and partake of the GENEROUS welfare system. San Bernardino is the first place invaders from other states stop to apply for food stamps and welfare.
For anyone who is interested the City is bankrupt and can’t pay its bills and the board of supervisors advised the citizens to arm themselves because there isn’t enough police Now that’s lieberalism for you

  • Liberty

Logistically speaking, wouldn’t it be simpler for one (1) pinched, tucked and shriveled old trout to leave California than all of those hardworking, taxpaying, lifelong & generational, moral, good citizen Republicans? Keep on truckin’, Nance.

    • Greg

      Exactly! Thank you!!

  • Greg

I was Born and raised in southern California and now 51 years later I tell you I only like it here for the weather…These Cali Libs are disgusting to me and most so it’s the Liberals placing Illegals above their own citizens and I say to Pelosi “Your days are numbered” fools.

  • Askjrsk

Pelosi, I have a better idea. You get out of our country. You belong in a facist government. Try UK, or Germany. Now today California lawmakers are talking about banning gasoline vehicles in the state, right after the guns. Arrest and deport Pelosi, Moonbeam Brown, Maxine Waters etc. take your Hollywierd celebrities with you.

  • Sidney S

Why are Dems Jerry B. & Nancy P. wailing & nashing their teeth? Bcuz their wealthy donors can only deduct the first $10,000 of their house taxes on an Income Tax return. Prez Trump thinks people who live in houses worth millions should have to pay a little more. The electorate are getting tired of all the negativity everyday from every Democrat.

  • Kirk Kahler

Pelosi is a disgrace ! just look at her city ! it is a mess crime every ware ! dirty and falling a part ! she hates the idea that the every day American can get a tax brake and keep more of there money ! why you ask ? well it is cuz that 75% of all of California’s taxes goes to support illegals ! they are over a trillion dollars in debt right now ! they want more taxes more federal money and they demand that taxes from other states to come to them ! California’s schools are failing bad and falling a part ! the collages in her state are be coming anti American anti free speech and teaching our young nothing to help them in the real world ! just look at what the democrats have done to California ! over half the state don’t speak English ! they protect illegals over US citizens ! crime and drugs are out of control ! there Hollywood elites that raise all this money for them are found to be sick and twisted ! there is corruption in there government ! they are using voter fraud to get voted in to office ! they are giving illegals free school ! food stamps ! free medical and housing when there are millions of US citizens in need ! the democrats are supporting terror/hate groups like ANTIFA and BLM and worst they are openly supporting there violence ! all Americans are to the democrats is a cash cow ! they are not willing to protect us ! to fix our schools ! to work to save American jobs ! to stop drugs and crime ! to work with the feds to end illegals coming in ! to fix the roads and bridges ! to upgrade the airports ! they pass laws that the people don’t want with out even putting it to a vote with the American citizens ! so ya Pelosi would say that the tax bill will be the end of the world and Armageddon for California ! the way I see it is the democrats have had there corrupt way for so long that they are unable to fix every thing they broke the people did vote for change and if California wants a better way of life they need to look at the track record of the democrats in the last ten years and see for them self’s just how they have been over taxed ! lied to ! cheated ! used ! put in danger ! screwed over for there illegals ! and vote them out ! vote for a America and American first agenda ! save there state ! make it better for there kids ! it is on them to make the change ! trump can only do so much to help them since they have been blue for so long ! how much more damage can California take be for they see there is a better way ? democrats are not for the people any more they only care about illegals and there power !

  • Dwimby

Pelosi is a disgrace to San Francisco (hard to do this!), the State of Calif and the nation. Plus, she is insane.

  • James Beckham

Pelosi is losing it, she needs to resign and seek help.

  • stephen1337

WHO then, will pay rising taxes to support brown’s beloved illegal alien pals? When will this state officially be known as mexifornia?

  • Sky King

One must remember that their definition of EVIL is not the same as it would be for rational mentally stable people.

  • billjohnso20

What a lying hypocrite! Everything that she has ever done was based in Liberal ideology and NOTHING more!

  • OldSilk

I am guessing that old Nancy just didn’t get the memo that with the exception of a tiny handful anybody who is conservative and able to get out is taking their money and getting out….

  • Sylvia Avila

Pelosi loves to be dramatic about everything, Pelosi has proven to be mentally unstable and borderline deranged! Time for her to step down! She has ruined the Democratic party like No other person has! She is now obsolete!!

  • Kathryn Jordan

You are correct. It isn’t your fault that Brown, Boxer, Feinstein, Pelosi are the way they are. I graduated from high school in CA over 30 years ago. Because of my father’s job with IBM, I moved all over starting from Texas. I don’t judge anyone. The only one I judge is me. California is a beautiful state. It is a shame that the taxes are so high, housing is so high (I would not be able to live in CA). Hopefully, you can get a better governor.

  • Richard Schwartz

Many are taking your advice Nancy. What other words of wisdom do you have?

  • Robert Wayne

These left wing radicals like Pelosi and Brown are typical communists. They think only the government should own anything and that only the government should decide who gets what. They also think that every ordinary person in the state should pay everything they have in taxes to that government that decides who gets what.

  • Petethepilot

Pelosi is the best example for the Term limit movement. She needs to retire way too many stupid statements in the near past. Not sure she playing with a full deck.

  • Naval Lint

In other words…a typical Liberal Democ-RAT!

  • Mad Scientist

Only the loony tunes Left Coast.

  • Petethepilot

On target, excellent in-depth analysis SkyGunner Lm needed to be called on the carpet for all the progressive junk imposed upon the good folks on the blog. Guess this time I was a FAC calling in the heavy artillery. Well done!

    • SkyGunner

Roger That. Thanks Pete.Good co-ordinates. Noticed he was too well informed in some areas ad just skimmed others. He appears so moronic his soros handlers know they have to practically write him notes, word for word out of some book and hope he doesn’t get called on the thin note parts. When you hit a soft spot, it’s like he suddenly passed out, fixed some supper, something, because it’s too long a break (as if he is breaking a string of radio traffic, so can’t be pinpointed, to be using the bathroom ) for usual things. I think the thugs are monitoring him, just in case a soft spot was found and they needed to bail him out. After he comes back it’s like he’s got his second wind. If soros is serious about trying to break our moral he’s going have to hire somebody that’s intelligent, used to making it up on the go and doesn’t go from college educated to LM’s level, which I judge to be about the (5fifth grade. I mean, some of soros male companions are having to hold LM’s hand while he’s imitating someone that’s not an imbecile, like L.M.
      Red Legs. Out

  • Erik V Johnson

Next Time ANY of You Non Californians Go to The Market…Remember…Calif Produces 90% of ALL NUTS and FRUITS n VEGIES n WHEAT n CORN, BARLEY n HARPS AND BEERS n FLOWERS in the WORLD…The List Goes On n On n On…We Produce Over 600 Types of Wines Alone !!! The Calif RED WOODS Are ONLY Found in Calif for YOUR Lumber !!! Outside of Alaska…We Have the Highest Mountains and The MOST Ski Resorts and the Most National Parks !!! There Wouldn’t Be ANY Movies or Even TV or Most ANY Electronics You Can Think Of…Calif Produces 1/2 the Country Oil and GAS n Cattle !!! It Takes Over 40 States to Come Even Close to Calif…AND You Can BLAME…MADE IN CHINA…on Washington DC

    • James Hopkins

You need to get your head out of your hind end!!!

  • NRApatriot

Guess you may be right although we’re forced to buy the ethanol crap year round here! Every pump has a message reading “may contain up to 10 percent ethanol! The small engine repair shops are covered up repairing the carburetors and fuel systems and my high performance motorcycle will not tolerate anything less than 93 octane! Average price per gallon around here is about 2.35 a gallon for 87 octane. 93 octane non ethanol is all but impossible to find but when you do it’s near 3.50 per gallon! Still can’t understand how anyone can live in Cali. these days?

  • James Hopkins

And now they want congress and Trump to send them money for fire relief.

  • rocky63

The fruitcakes of San Francisco, the sanctuary city for previously deported muderers, and the home of jury members who find a five-time felon who fires a gun along the SF waterfront and kill an innocent woman to be “not guilty”, will not be a bit missed by any REAL American citizens, Of course, the CA fruits and nuts who think they would rather leave the USA will be able to welcome as they desire many multiple-deportation illegals who returned to their wonderful “Golden” state for some more crime opportunities.

  • Btty

Thank you Dave for your sevice! I just now saw your post. You are a man among men! I to liked JFK and RFK very much! The Dems of that era are no more. Dems today are nothing more than communists. I was to young to vote in that era also but will never forget the physical fight of my life when my two brothers went to Vietnam and only one came home. I met him at the airport and beat the crap out of 2 people who spit at him. I could have killed on that day. God Bless you.
