‘A lot of my strength comes from being Palestinian…’
(Kaylee McGhee, Liberty Headlines) Democrats elected two openly anti-Israel women to Congress during the midterm elections.
Since winning office, Congresswomen-elect Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib have continued to defend their anti-Semitic rhetoric.
Tlaib won in Michigan’s 13th congressional district last Tuesday and celebrated by wearing the Palestinian flag.
Tlaib is the first Palestinian-American elected to Congress and has made clear she despises the U.S.’s relationship with Israel.
This is History. Watch every second of this.

During her campaign, Tlaib published several anti-Israel tweets and retweeted one user who wrote that the “first fight was for Palestine, always Palestine.”
She has called for the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel, advocating for a unitary Palestinian government to take its place. Palestine has never been a legal entity with land as a nation.
Her views are so radical that the leftists group J Street, which is often anti-Israel itself, withdrew its endorsement of her campaign.
In her victory speech, Tlaib credited the Palestinian cause: “A lot of my strength comes from being Palestinian.”
Omar, who won her seat in Minnesota, has also attacked the state of Israel, saying that she advocates for Palestine “because we know right from wrong.”

Omar called the Jewish state an “Israeli apartheid regime” and attacked those who interpreted her tweets as anti-Semitic.
The accusations of anti-Semitism are “rooted in bigotry,” she told ABC News in July.
“I don’t really pay attention to the stuff people say I am,” Omar told Muslim Girl, an Islamic blog for young women. “Because what I know is I am a fighter for human rights.”
A Christian legal defense group warned about the pair’s beliefs.
“Electing anti-Semites into Congress is a dangerous threat to Israel and to America,” said Mat Staver, Chairman of Liberty Counsel and President of Christians in Defense of Israel. “Dancing with a Palestinian flag and chanting in an Islamic greeting is just the beginning of what these two anti-Semite women will do to try and reverse everything the Trump administration has done in favor of Israel.”
