College Student Gets 100 Days in Jail for Registering Dead Democrat Voters

(Washington Examiner) A James Madison University student was sentenced to prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to registering dead voters for the Democratic Party during the 2016 election.

Andrew Spieles, 21, was given a 100-day prison sentence in federal court for falsifying 18 Virginia voter registration forms last August. A judge waived any fees associated with the charges due to an inability to pay the fine, and Spieles will not have to serve any probation following his jail-time.

Voter fraud is punishable by up to a year in prison and a $100,000 fine in the Commonwealth of Virginia, but Spieles was able to enter a plea agreement with Assistant United States Attorney Jeb Terrien that limited his sentence to between 100 and 120 days behind bars.

Spieles worked as a Democratic campaign operative during its voter registration drive, and admitted that he prepared the false voter registration forms by obtaining the name, age, and address of individuals from “walk sheets” provided to him by the Virginia Democratic Party. He fabricated a birth date based on the ages listed in the walk sheet, and fabricated the social security numbers, the Justice Department said.

Spieles said he acted alone, and was not told by anyone else in the party to create fake voters…

    “He acted alone.”
Unlikely, and yet the DNC claims that there is NO VOTING FRAUD!WE NEED STIFFER PENALTIES, to include DISENFRANCHISEMENT!! Anyone who commits voting fraud should lose ALL voting rights!!!!

    • coconuisse

With the liberals in the process of restoring voting rights to criminals, how long do you think someone convicted of voting fraud would have to endure their temporary suspension of their voting rights?

      • Craig Vandertie

You fail to take into consideration that I believe those who lose voting privileges for life were sentenced as violent offenders as well should be, many class D felonies are so paltry not only should you be allowed to vote again after you have served your time after so much time has past the records should be destroyed.

Criminal damage to property is no grounds for stripping rights from someone who committed vandalism 30 or more years before is downright criminal in itself.

        • coconuisse

Any Soros paid thug ‘protesting” some vague condition that they oppose by destroying the property of ANYBODY should be locked up in a padded cell where the only thing they can destroy is locked in their cell with them. Said incarceration should be open-ended and terminated only when the offender can demonstrate their “conversion” to “civilized” and “housebroken” behavior

If you cannot buy a Gun you shouldn’t be allowed to Vote.

        • Mo

Typical response from a Democrat, destroy the records just like they try to rewrite history that they want people to forget. They seem to forget that those who forget their history are doomed to repeat it, good or bad.

          • Craig Vandertie

Hey!, idiot, I am not a Democrat, I am someone who still at the impressionable age of 18 had a psychological meltdown and committed vandalism, before you start flapping your jaw maybe you should get all the facts.

          • What’s that you say?

            Did you repay your victim?

          • Mo

Boy I can tell that you weren’t taught to respect your elders. When I was in school at your age we were taught History and how to think for ourselves and not indoctrinated into the Radical Liberal Manifesto by Union Teachers who no longer teach but indoctrinate students to be followers. Like I said, a typical fly off the handle response from a Indoctrinated Liberal crybaby.

          • Zardoz

Well, I’m a die-hard conservative/independent since high school. I happen to agree with Craig. One-time “white crime” cons should NOT be punished their entire lives. If Craig is 68 years old….his “white crime” sentence is 60 years old and counting. That is just WRONG!!!! Career criminal…sure, of course they should not ever get the right to vote. Just my thoughts….

          • Craig Vandertie

Actually Zardoz, if you were left with the impression I was 68 apparently my math was way off, my conviction will be coming up on 38 years this December, I am presently 56.

Thank you for your support though.

          • Zardoz

I was shooting for how ridiculous what was being said about you, than how old you presently are. When you do hit 86, it will mean the same thing and more. What you said hit me as truth, so I was honored to support not only you…..but the truth. May YOU have fair winds and following seas, Craig.

          • Craig Vandertie

            Thank you very much Zardoz.

        • Miyako

Your Democrat Virginia governor Gave Convicted FELONS The right To Vote for Clinton In The 2016 Election For President.

          • Craig Vandertie

Let me explain this a 3rd time, I am now 56, when I was 18 I wigged out committing vandalism in excess of limit where it goes from a Misdemeanor to a Felony, expungement through an attorney is just a political scam to pad the pockets of litigators, my point if in such a situation 1 keeps their nose clean after so many years their record should automatically be wiped clean.

        • lsawell

I disagree. If the possibility of a life being taken or serious injury or emergency equipment being damaged beyond usefulness they throw the whole damn book case after them. You can always seek an expungment after your parole or 89 days after a pardon.

          • Craig Vandertie

I am now 56 years old, at the age of 18 I had a psychological breakdown that caused me to commit vandalism the total damage exceeded limit of where it goes from a Misdemeanor to a Felony, yes, I realize I could pad the pocket of an attorney for the privilege of going hunting or Carry and Conceal, but it is far cheaper not getting my 2nd Amendment rights returned to me.

          • usmcltc

I am 76 years old, and I am sorry for your mental breakdown at age 18; however, the answer to your problem is NEVER commit vandalism in the first place. Actions have consequences. People should think about this BEFORE they commit an illegal act, and wiping one’s record is NOT the answer. Break the law, live with the consequences, as a person IS responsible for his/her actions.

          • Patty Cake

So at 76 years old you never did anything wrong in your life? How long should a person be punished? If he committed the vandalism crime almost 40 years ago. He payed for the crime many years ago. So in your opinion, he should pay until the day he dies. It is illegal to speed. If you get caught speeding in your car. you go to court, you pay a fine, its over. So with your line of thinking even they should pay until the day they die. Having a felony record not only can keep a person from voting or owning a gun, it also prevents a person from getting a descent job. Yet we have politicians like Hillary Clinton and Loretta Lynch committing crimes before our very eyes, yet they control the people and never pay any consequences for the crimes. You probably face felons everyday of your life and you don’t even know it. They prepare your food in restaurants, they repair your car, they pay taxes yet can’t vote, they could be your neighbor, they attend church with you, etc…

          • What’s that you say?

He went to jail, but did he repay the victim?

          • usmcltc

Yes, I HAVE done something wrong in my 76 years. When I was 16 years old, I was picked up by the MO Highway patrol for passing on a yellow line (I was guilty, but it is a long story). I had to go to court and had to pay court costs which was $1.76, if you can believe that! When I was in my 50s I was stopped by a Kanas City police officer on the Interstate for going 65 miles per hour (the speed limit was 55 mph at the time). I paid a fine.
You imply that Craig is still paying for vandalism that he committed 40 years ago. That is only true IF he committed a felony, and not a misdemeanor. Are you saying that a person who committed a FELONY should have his/her records should be wiped clean after a certain time has passed?
Unpunished vandalism can provide relief which reinforces the behavior. Vandalism by one person can lead to imitation. Wiping a felonies records clean only serves to lessen a persons desire to NOT commit vandalism.

In general, vandalism is not a serious crime unless the property destroyed is worth a lot of money. Many acts of vandalism are misdemeanors, meaning the maximum penalties include fines and up to a year in the local jail. However, vandalism that results in serious damage to valuable property is a felony. Defendants charged with a felony can face more than a year in state prison and significant fines.

Most states categorize damage to property worth less than $500 as a misdemeanor, while anything worth $500 or more is a felony. This amount can differ among states or depending on the type of property. For example, some states set a $250 limit to misdemeanors, but consider any damage to a motor vehicle a felony.

          • Zardoz

So, usmcltc, does your brand of morality agree that thinking about committing a felony equate to doing the felony?

          • usmcltc

“Thinking” and “doing” are two different things. People are held accountable for things they do, but are not held accountable for things that they think, except in a Communist society.

          • Zardoz

Ha! What I was really wondering about was how you were probability on track for committing your third “crime” in your long life. I doubt you will live long enough to commit a fourth “crime”. And with that, I wish you well. Although I doubt you will end up with “fair winds and following seas”.

          • usmcltc

If and when I commit my third “crime”, YOU will never know about it. Sorry.

          • usmcltc

You must have been in the Navy.

          • Zardoz

Yes I sure was, where I was exposed to orifficers such as yourself. Much more morale than me….to my face. I and all the enlisted crewmen were made aware of the Payton Place of the ward room by the ward room mess men. And that was before the female orifficers came aboard. You can lie to yourself and to whom ever you can deceive. How many Clergy that are 76 can claim only three “crimes” in their lives. Only those such as your self. btw, one of those mess men became so pushed over the edge. He became the “Phantom Crapper”. Most mornings, when the silver creamer was opened….it was occupied by crap, the chairs were occupied, the Captains Sea Cabin bed was occupied, the silver sugar server, etc., etc. He sure had huge balls. If caught, he would have been hit with enough charges to stay in Portsmouth for a long time. Also, your type didn’t go out on the decks at night, unless there was at least 9-10 of them, nuts to butts, with flashlights. There was a very good reason for them to fear the dark. When I was young, dumb, full of come, my part was to cling around the water tight doors, and orifficers open the door, they met my fist. I had learned how to duck/weave around the pitch black weather decks with my eyes closed. Came in handy many times. And I am very well aware the U.S. Military was formed around the British Navy of doing things in the 16-1700’s. I’m aware of the Army’s 1921 handbook, that deals with enlisted men. That chapter is very short, but gets the idea across. You really have nothing to say to me I would listen to. Hypocrite.

          • usmcltc

First, thank you for your service. I am sorry that you such a distasteful experience during your time in the Navy. I would have expected you to leave the service, after experiencing what you did. You say that there is nothing that I can say that you would listen to, so be it. You obviously have a closed mind and paint ALL officers with a broad brush, so I won’t even try.

          • Zardoz

Actually sir, I did leave the Navy for approx. 9 months. My mind was broke. We were anchored out in harbor in the Caribbean, I was the midnight-four OOD, a new boot fireman came aboard. As was custom, I got the duty fireman up to show the E-1 where the crapper, mess deck, berthing was. About 15 min. later, the E-4 pops back up on the quarterdeck and asked permission to depart the ship. I asked him if he talked someone in to taking his duty, he said yes. That was sop. However, a 3:30, he came back drunk, went down in the hole to turn over the watch a 4 am. He had shoved the E-1 in the hole in blues w/sea bad and said you have the watch. When the E-4 returned he found out the E-1 just sat on a stool. The boiler melted to slag. The E-4 put the E-1 on report for dereliction of duty, sabotage, willfully destroying gov property, and four other charges. At 8 a.m., he was at XO mast, 9 a.m. Co mast, court martial at 10 a.m. and handcuffed and on his way to Portsmouth by 12 a.m. The travesty of justice broke my mind. To this day when I think about that, I hope that kid got a very good lawyer and got an appeal.
And with that I believe our business is concluded. Thank you for your service to our country, too. My you have fair winds and following seas.

          • usmcltc

As far as voting, it appears that voting mainly concerns those individuals who CAN NOT vote. The fact remains that only 59.7% of those people of voting age population actually voted in 2016. That means that 40.3% of the people who COULD have voted, didn’t vote. I guess that the ability to vote didn’t mean too much to these people.

As far as not being able to own a gun, that is exactly what the liberals want in their quest for “gun control”.

“So with your line of thinking even they should pay until the day they die.” If you commit a misdemeanor, you DON’T pay “until the day they die”; however, if the person commits a felony, yes, that fact should be a part of the person’s record until the day he dies. People should be held responsible for their actions, a concept that some liberals find hard to grasp.
As far as Hillary and Lynch, I agree full heartedly! It seems that today, some people are “too powerful” to indict which slaps “justice” in the face. Concerning Hillary and her emails, it was obvious that the “fix” was in, and my hope is that Trump will reopen the investigation and indict those responsible for this miscarriage of justice.

          • Zardoz

By all means usmcltc, cast the first stone, I’m soooooo sure you are entitled to it. Tell me usmcltc, how does your brand of morality deal with those that commit a felony but are not caught/convicted?

          • usmcltc

Who is casting a stone? I am simply stating my opinion, which may be right or wrong, but is supported by current law. How do I deal with those that commit a felony but are not caught/convicted? I do not have to “deal” with them, as if they are not caught, we do not KNOW that they committed a felony. Nothing to deal with.

          • Zardoz

            Bravo Zulu!

          • ibright

          • ibright

Just caught your reply. R u still having hissy fits?

      • Doc

I don’t get it…………..plea agreements are done during serious crime cases such as murder and rape where additional defendants may be named by a perpetrator to lower his/her punishment so the rest of the criminals get indicted as well. Its like turning states evidence.
The above article said – 1. the judge deferred any fees or monetary penalties due to “inability to pay” (since when did a student NOT have money, he’s going to school isn’t he….. and so what if he didn’t, he chose to fabricate those names,….it’s a CRIME…. if I chose to do the same, then I would have to “pay the fine and do the time”). Then to add insult to injury, he “entered a plea bargain with the Assistant District Attorney ……”
What this crap about ! If they charged him with the crime, then they had sufficient evidence to indict him….. what’s the necessity of getting him to “plea bargain” unless they want to start to develop really low penalties for voter fraud cases so in the future other Dems accused of this can have their attorneys cite penalties received by liberal judges and lenient District Attorneys. I just don’t get it otherwise……..

        • lsawell

Since when does ability to pay ever saved anybody from the IRS? Follow the law judge or have a legislature change them.

          • Doc

Spoke with a lawyer friend in Phoenix,….laws always say “up to…..” for fines and jail time. So what the bas-ard did was provide a lenient sentence to the brat, most likely since he (the judge) was probably sympathetic to what was done. But, my friend said that lawyers compare to other cases (precedence) and it might be this judge is trying to set a “liberal precedence” so when other Dems are indited on similar charges, their attorneys will use this as “precedence” to water-down the sentences for their liberal clients. If that happens, it may start going the same direction as the guy that rammed his car into the counter-protesters at that supposed white-supremacist rally in Virginia, today.
I fear people are getting fed up with many, many things, including how the law is applied by liberal judges, how Trump is being harassed by liberal judges every time he attempts to do an executive action, when no one stopped Obama in nearly 8 years from doing what he desired. What goes around usually comes around and thngs just might get violent,…..not good if the Left is anti-gun and relies only on liberal judges and the ACLU to “defend them”. When people get….as my daddy used to say,….sick and tired of being sick and tired of being sick and tired,…. bad things can start happening!

          • Zardoz

            Time to….Bring it on!!!!

          • just care

Exactly. Let me run up a few dozen traffic tickets, and tell the judge oops I’m broke so you’ll have to let it slide. And that maximum fine should be for each count.

          • Susan

I would think ‘inability to pay’ could be solved with ‘payment plans’ or at the very least, community service.
It DOES sound fishy to me.

        • ARJAY

libTURD democRATs are running the criminal “justice” system.

        • johnny b

          That’s because your a conservative…..

      • Sylvia Avila

Yes, Dems have lost all sense of duty to Country and People! Pure Evil they are!

    • Redtailedhawk

Right. And I “acted alone” in creating dislike for this kind of cheating.

    • Doc

Unlike 30-40 years ago,….we, the “silent majority” have been slowly awakened as the Left and their Communist sympathizers have been emboldened and have opened up the dialogues to what we see and hear on the very minority MSM. In Russia before the May Day revolution, Communists were revolutionaries and pretty much kept a low profile until they could truly overtake the country,….when the Czar had ignored the truth past the point of no return. Thankfully, Obama and his ilk, Soros et al….and the Communist professors ….all have shown their true colors. But I think it was TOO PREMATURE for them…… everyone sees all these organizations for what they really are. Hollywood has no power with the Right anymore except for those glitz-lovers among us. We now see what the majority of the Republicans and Democratic reps are REALLY like…….political sycophants sucking on the government teats of our tax dollars. And, finally, our schools of higher education,….losing institutions for brain-washing that I finally think our students and their parents are finally “wise to them”. Regardless of how successful Trump and company are,….we, the Conservative Right, are coming into our own, both mentally, physically, and politically. I may be a bit too optimistic, but the Right owns all the guns, tends to be the most Nationalistic (hence most resistant to globalism), and has its back up against the wall (we have been robbed, cheated, and demonized to the point of “fighting back”).
Like I said above, I really think the Left “prematurely played its hand” in these last few years and even now believes its own lies. Hitler said in a sick but logical book about racism, “….after some time, even the liar comes to believe the lie when he tells it long enough”. Look at Hillary, and her people,…..they still cannot believe she lost. She believed her own lies and still does………….
Keep the faith folks, is my advise. IMHO.

    • lsawell

They should give that creep 1 year per each count. They should also revoke his voting privileges for one year on each count. One thing that can be done immediately is separate the voting process for Federal elections from State and local elections. Make it federal law to at least match your address against your drivers license or better yet a valid passport. If you have neither, use their sample ballot or a witness present and give them a provisional ballot. The state pays for their elections and the federal polling done at military bases, rented venues, post offices, federal buildings or prison annexes.

    • NavymanBill

I agree whole heartedly. They TEACH them to do this. Old man Joe Kennedy did this in Massachusetts and elsewhere in 1960.It’s part of their playbook. And when caught “Deny EVERYTHING!”. [email protected]@@ this little POS Spieles. I will ask a few friends to “look in on him.”

    • Hey You

Because of the inaccurance of voting, I don’t bother to vote. Why should I try to vote given the fraud accompanying voting?

    • Sylvia Avila

      Yes, so true!

    • Fedup

The Virginia Democratic Party gave him “walk sheets” which he got his names, addresses and ages from. That to me sounds like he was just doing as he was told to do. They are as guilty as this kid was.

    • minefinder624

      Agreed on all points !

  • armyisnumber1

Jail time should of been longer and he should DEFINITELY be charged with paying the fine.

    • sandraleesmith46

I agree; the harm is greater than a mere 100 days, and $100,000! Think about the state and local elections and the harm those elected may do for years, to the citizens of that area.

  • coconuisse

Anybody want to guess what James Madison University was “teaching” this “student” instead of “academics”?

    • Maxine Albritton

no surprise there most are teaching the democratic principles. and this kid learned a lesson in forgery. , fraud. etc.

      • bendecido

        And for free also.

        • Maxine Albritton

well, the free part maybe not. He paid dearly with jail time. I don’t know how long it stays on his record either. In the past it used to matter dearly, today if the boss is liberal maybe not so much.

    • sandraleesmith46

Nope; he should spend as long in jail as the person’s longest term elected under that vote that he defrauded; so 4 to 6 years; because his fraud is costing the citizens of that district for at least that long. And add the $100,000 to his college loan debt.

    • Redtailedhawk

      So right.

Some woman was convicted of voting 6 times for President Obama, because she wanted to be sure he got elected. She did go to jail.

      • Sandi van Joosten

Yeah, and the only person arrested for voting fraud for the 2017 election was a Republican Trump supporter who voted twice and said she did so to make sure Trump won.

Why would the Dem party give him a list of dead voters? Some other people need to go to jail as accomplices. No way he acted alone!

    • Redtailedhawk

Seems he could not have acted alone if he got the list from the Demos as he said.

  • Ragweed Handgun

Had he been a Republican and done what that democRAT did, they would have set a precedent to Republicans by giving him 5 years regardless what the law says, and would have had to pay beefed-up cours costs…

  • big KAhuna

What a travesty of justice. This man committed a crime that effects every American yet this kangaroo court gives him 100 days behind bars ( a drunk driver gets more and does far less damage). This decision sends the wrong message to anyone else doing the same. Anything less than 5 yrs in prison is rediculous.

  • Kmat

But non of them cast Ballots, how do I know Obama, Hillary and the DNC told me so.

  • Rick D.

This is just 1 of many examples of voter fraud perpetrated by the Dems. To be sentenced to only 100 days of jail time is so ridiculously low that it’s laughable & will not be a deterrent to similar behavior in the future.

  • Steve Flowers

This what we are turning out of colleges now, he eventually will graduate from prison. He must look back in his life to ask himself DOES HE WANT TO BE A DEMOCRAT or will the light come on where he can adjust. This is happening with our youth today, especially what our colleges are teaching today!

    • Redtailedhawk

I don’t think many of them are teaching. More like indoctrinating.

  • Mo

A hundred days sentence is a joke. He should have been given a year for every ILLEGAL form he submitted. Demoncrats have been stuffing ballot boxes since the civil war ended. That just pushed the main part of the KKK even further underground and those who did not go underground formed the Democrat party. Democrats do the best that they can to bury that part of their history. That fact is the thing that I just do not understand why so many Black people support the Democratic Party with it’s history of rising from the ashes of the KKK. Given that history, i just can not understand why a Black person would ever support the Democrat Party.

Your history is a mite skewed; the KKK arose out of Democrats in the Southern states who were among the defeated and oppressed under carpetbaggers. There was no KKK before the Civil War at all, but there were Dems! And the KKK didn’t “go underground until over a century later after laws were passed about inciting violence committed by others.

  • Jose Cisneros

He got away with a slap in the hand. The punishment should fit the crime.

  • Maxine Albritton

sounds like he is protecting someone. usually when an underling gets a job they do as they are instructed. So the zombies were voting. I wonder where else they will turn up.

    • Redtailedhawk

      They’re everywhere! They’re everywhere!

  • sandraleesmith46

WHY should he get off lightly? He’s learned the wrong lesson from this; as have the Dems in general! He was undoubtedly “schooled” in this by other “operatives” of the party. They’ve been doing this for decades.

  • bobh

Libs are prone to use any tactic to win! That’s why they are losers!

    • R. T.

They only loose when the REAL people get out to vote !

  • R. T.

Should have been 100 years , that is conspiracy to commit voter fraud !

    • Redtailedhawk

Come on now. He is a Liberal. Jail cons forever. Give libs very good breaks. HA!

      • Redtailedhawk

        Sarc on last post.

      • R. T.

OK you caught me in a good mood 95 years .

  • po’ed in az

So now we can be charged with a crime and when brought before a judge, say we can’t afford the sentence, and get a simple slap on the wrist? No wonder these disrespectful, uneducated little brats taking up seats in college classrooms have no fear of being held accountable for their actions!

  • valentina

2 million dead have been voting for Bill obama and hillary. Plus 11.000.000 illegals obama ordered to vote Dems with driving license.
Other Democrats were bribed to travel in different states ti vote many times.
And still the Dems claim hillary won yhe populous. ….But many corrupt states refuse to let intelligence check the votes searching for fraud…reason? Obama never won…. HE was placed to destroy the USA and kill Americans so they will be replaced with Muslim migrants he and hillary brought on and plan to bring in millions.
The fema camps slaughter is ready as soon as Dems win again. As for obama. . HE under obamacare…. allowed the opioid to be described to start the killing and so far more than 165.000 died and rising

    • sandraleesmith46

Are you still in the ’80s? That 11 mil was eclipsed before Clinton took office.

      • nocbsfan

        LOL Get em girl.

  • valentina

We must also remember soros provided voting machines program to change the name voted to the name chosen…..throughout the states. You can Google it

  • Finder1009

He alone is about as likely as me jumping off a cliff and flying.

  • Miyako

No Surprise Here….. This Is How California Votes….They register all the Illegal alien Foreign Nationals of Mexican Heritage. Same goes for Oregon,Washington State,Chicago,Virginia NYC NY Etc…

  • arizonaguy1

He should be barred from voting for his lifetime

  • arizonaguy1

How many other people out there do what this student did? Maybe Trump was right about the number of fraudulent voters!D

  • Tyronne Shoelaces

100 days? Of course, for a democrat. If he was republican, he would have got life.

  • dennis cheever

Steal a hundred dollars and you will get 5 years, this is Justice in America.

  • Harry Pearson

This man should have received a sentence of 18 years, one year for each count of the indictment, and a penalty of somewhere less than $1.8 Million dollars. The fact that he doesn’t have the funds doesn’t make the crime any less heinous, and the sentence should be based on the crime, not the perpetrator’s financial situation. It would be appropriate, and a strong message to all people who want to take over our voting system, that if you try, you will be caught and you will be sentenced accordingly. Therefore, a sentence of 18 years, for each count, and a penalty of $180,000, $10,000 for each count, would tell anyone considering taking over our voting system, it will cost you.

  • Rob Alexander

    Lock ’em all up!

  • karmicpete

How many fake voters? Did he then vote under these fake registrations? More severe punishment is warranted whatever those answers. Here in California the registration and voting processes are a joke. As is government.

  • Born Again Southern Pride

Hope he gets a nice boyfriend during his stay…

  • The Capatin

A “slap on the wrist”. He needs to be serving a minimum of 5 years in the Federal Penitentiary for this stunt.

  • Susan Wood

WOW – 100 days! What a penalty — guess judge didn’t feel the crime was too bad.

There is a case in federal court against the Broward County Florida Supervisor of Elections for not removing dead people an people who have moved an also people who are voting in 2 different states. The results will be coming down soon we hope. This could have national implacations.
Brenda Snipes the Supervisor of Elections has admitted some of the things. It seems she is picking the laws she wants to obey.

    • Carlos 2000

What would you expect in South Florida?

  • Kenneth Jones

Finally, some justice, as it is, is being done! May this be only the first case!

  • Junior1950

There should have been NO PLEA AGREEMENT for Andrew Spieles fraudulently falsyfying 18 Virginia Voter registration forms!!!! He should have received the MAXIMUM PENALTY allowed by law~~~AND THEN SOME!!!!

  • desertpirate

I might understand the plea bargain if he gave up people who directed him. But if he acted alone, he should face the full penalty of law.

  • Bob

He originally graduated from Chump University with a degree in “Alternative Facts and Bankruptcy, with an additional Certificate for Tax Evasion and Military Deferments. Gee, he’s qualified to run for President!!

    • Carlos 2000

Bob, With fake news like that, you should be on CNN.

      • Bob

Hey Amigo, I notice you didn’t take exception to my comment about the Chumpster. I guess you must agree with me, though I’m sure you would hate to admit it, right! Oh well….

  • GymS

The word ‘activist’ when referring to a democRAT, equates to domestic terrorist.

  • Louise Adams

There are many more out there just like him lots of
voter fraud they just never got caught!

    • jscarano7

    • Carlos 2000

What’s even more scary is that there are lots more Democrat prosecutors out there.

  • George E. LeFebvre

And, how many other students did the same thing? Since he could not pay the fine, then he should have gotten max sentence of a year. He got the information from the DNC so someone gave him the intormation or names of people. Whomever gave him the names should join him as well

    • Carlos 2000

He can afford college tuition, but he can’t afford to pay the fine.

  • Bs….. He acted along just like Hillary didn’t know what she was doing with those computer emails.

  • Marion E McKenzie

Punishment Should have Been $100,000. Fine and one year in Prison NO TIME OFF FOR GOOD BEHAVIER..This Whacked Out Liberal got a Sleezie Dimocrat JUDGE…

  • Great but the better news is Mueller should be fired since the DNC computers were not Russian hacked…Search “personal liberty /so-it-was-a-leak/”.
. On “July 5, 2016, 1,976 megabytes were transferred in 87 seconds = transfer rate of 22.7 megabytes per second exceeding internet ability” ! Plus “Russian markings were artificially inserted prior to posting”.
. For the complete story search “thenation. /article/a-new-report-raises-big-questions-about-last-years-dnc-hack/” and “washingtonexaminer /when-is-a-russian-hack-not-a-hack-evidence-suggests-dnc-email-hack-was-an-inside-job/article/2631267” by Jennifer Kerns | Aug 11, 2017, 11:56 AM

  • Brent

So…did any of those fake registrations show up as having voted??

Why doesn’t the article spell it out? Kind of like half reporting. Still better than the MSM.

  • Lumpy Rutherford

He ought to be breaking rocks at Ft.Leavenworth alongside Brokeback Obama and Hillary Rottencrotch Clinton…

  • bcmarshall

Does no one recognizes that this plea deal was arranged and accepted by a US attorney in the Justice Department of Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions. This wasn’t some liberal judge. It was an agreement that was accepted by Trump.

The punk should’ve been sentenced to the absolute maximum. But those on the right should not point to this as evidence of something widespread. It’s one conviction out of hundreds of millions of votes cast. Get real. Put it in perspective. Not only that, even if he had been successful in registering those people, he would’ve either had to go back personally and vote 18 times, or where he would’ve had to find 17 other people to vote. This extreme reaction is a joke.

Blame Trump and Sessions for the sentence, and the creep who actually did it for the crime. Punish him to the maximum extent of the law, but don’t punish millions of voters who simply want to exercise their rights. That’s an absurd solution. .

  • 3indigo13

good. more of them should go to jail. not just the little guys. let’s get some big fish in there too.

  • Shawn Sapp

Voter fraud should be considered a much more serious offense than what it apparently is. It is a direct attack on the single most important aspect of our govt. and free society. The boy is lying when he says he acted alone. Someone showed him how to do this sand then encouraged it. The dems want light punishment for voter fraud because they are the ones commiting all the fraud. What is to stop them. The punishment, if it is even investigated, is so light, it is worth the chance of getting caught. Small price to pay for getting to run the country and become a millionaire at the same time.

    • Carlos 2000

Well if Obama were still president, he would not have been prosecuted at all. I imagine that this Democrat prosecutor was told he had to do prosecute, given that Trump has made us all aware of how much voter fraud there is.

  • therealworld

He was only “One” of “Thousands” of people under DNC orders

  • therealworld

100 days, no probation and no fine. We need to watch in 2020 because with that sentence there will be Hundred’s of Thousands of Democrats doing the same then. They might register more voters than Citizens in the country. They are That Stupid.

  • Washington Watchdog

Voter fraud undermines a democracy. The book should have been thrown at him. I am sure there are more, especially in CA where we ignore it.

  • Angelswatchingoverme

If it’s based on false claims, then why are they standing in the way of proof? The democrats are scared to death, they will lose their voter base….they need those dead people votes. Every state has a duty to come clean…if they don’t they need to be fined….

  • ginjit.dw

Why are they always labeled “activists”..they are criminals….

  • Debra Shawver

Not enough time or punishment..guaranteed this dipsh*t will be back on the prowl for the next 2018 election doing the same BS……along with all his demoncrap “friends”

  • usmcltc

But wait! The Democrats say there is NO proven voter fraud. How can this be? This poor guy was obviously “set up” by Republicans, right?

  • betty

100 days in jail is nothing for taking away the votes of 18 legal voters in the state of Virginia. what a joke. where’s the justice?

  • Bill Meeker

NOW do folks understand why it’s worth the risk to get their Democrat choice elected? When they get caught they can expect the equivalent of punishment for not paying a parking ticket. No problem with the law but a liberal judge and prosecutor will only give a tap on the wrist and this is reported in a state Trump lost.

  • generalJed

How about YEARS in prison. The current punishment is much too lax, even here in Nevada. Those committing voter fraud should never again be able to vote. Those interfering with this investigation need to be arrested by Federal agents and thrown bodily into prison. This is very serious crime.

    • Lili J

Didn’t even have to pay the fine… WTH?

  • showmetheschoolrecords

I don’t believe him I mean he is after all a PC Lib Prog Puke DemocRAT Traitors and Criminals Party member……………..SPIT!

  • B.Smith

Many California counties had more voters than were even registered.
It goes on all the time. Dems are committing voter fraud on an enormous scale.
Voters should be required to show id. It is that simple. It would assure legal votes only.
Of course Obummer was opposed to it, as was Killary. We all know why.
Watch how the Democrat votes would fade away.

  • Lili J

REALLY??? Voter fraud??? The Democrats KEEP saying there’s no such thing and say voter fraud is “fake news”.

Where’s the justice? We want JUSTICE!

  • SteveO

The leftists do that in every county in the country, it’s been going on here for decades and anyone with half a brain knows it!

  • Conservative3446

And this slap on the wrist is expected to discourage voter fraud? Yeah right! Any bets against the judge and prosecutor being flaming liberal a-holes?

  • Maddawg

I can see a light sentence if the student had committed one offense… He committed many. He should have been given a heavy sentence; something that says to him, and others that this is not acceptable behavior.. 100 days is laughable.. He should have gotten 10 years.

  • John

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Similar to the war on drugs, the dealers in the street get caught first, hopefully you can flip them to work your way up to get the big fish. There has been a concerted effort to rig election by having the dead, illegals,or felons vote or other means. The lapdog media and DNC can try to cover it up and claim there is nothing to see here, but the truth is coming out.

He should be forbidden to EVER register ANYONE to vote FOREVER!!

  • pete poulton

Don’t Worry They gonna “LOve” him in Prison…..

  • sweetqueen777

I would have settled for no less than the 4 year term he was trying to influence.
I wonder how many others are out there, “acting alone”?

  • Carroll Osteen

More evidence of collusion and fraud by the dems. to INFLUENCE THE THE VOTE , ( rig the election )! Republicans , call for an investigation into this real collusion !

  • Donald Lindsey

Democrats will lies, use deceits and murder to get their way

  • omikehawk

Why not the full year and $100,000 fine? What is the sense of having punishments if they don’t use them?

  • RetiredTpr

Who provided him with the ” walk sheets?”

  • Jeannie

There is more voting fraud than the left will admit to. Why do you think they fight voter registration??? this shows that the fraud is mostly on the left..If it was on the right it would be all over the lame stream media….

  • Ed Shick

Well , Obama got his start under a Communist, Alice Palmer , when he was an Acorn Agent and Alice Palmer wanted to become a Illinois State senator , she got elected with most names coming from Tombstones in South Chicago! Then she sent Obama to study Marxism and Communism , He did great and came Home and Sued Alice went to Court and told how she was elected , She dropped out and Obama won the Election , He was on his first step as a State Senator , With help from more Voter Fraud , he went up to President Quickly

    • Mike W

And still to this day NO one knows who he really is.

  • Fred Doe

For those who haven’t seen this. Up to 5 million illegals voted in the 2016 election, and who do you think they voted for? No wonder the left wants to convince everyone that voter fraud is rare. It is their lifeblood!

    • Mike W

And Hillary still only claims to have won the popular vote by 2 million. They were hacked by the IT guys THEY hired – all the collusion with the Russians points right back to all the money the Clintons made from the Russians. The DNC fired crooked Debbie Wasserman Schultz for show and tell to look like they were legit. Then in defending their RIGGING of the nomination – they said they have no obligation to produce any candidate other than one of their choosing. Attention All Democrats – that means your votes don’t mean squat to them – they have basically said that you are too stupid to pick a candidate so they will do it for you – How very democratic of them huh?

  • johnny b

This turd of a judge is libertard as is the prosecutor. As for the libertard defendant, he got off soooo frickin easy that it is now proof positive if you are charged with a crime, just claim that you are a Democrap and you will get off easy…..

  • Sylvia Avila

Well, he just prove what we all knew, that the DNC are cheaters, liars, and thief’s! Hillary would be proud! She probably set it up!

  • just care

Yes judge, that stiff punishment will really deter voter fraud. Not!

  • The Old Ranger

Democrats have used voter fraud for a long long time. When I was a college student, it was shown that several hundred dead people voted for LBJ when he ran for state offices. first in the House and then for the Senate. I’m sure if you checked out several other Dems even earlier than this, you would find the same thing. So it is nothing new for the libtards… anything to win…

  • Mad Scientist

    Hmmm…the ends justify the means.
    Only for left wing causes.

  • Steve Harr

He got the info from the DNC BUT WORKED ALONE….SURE HE DID !!
Bet he has a job with a DNC org.after his release.

  • bill thompson

He acted alone in finding walk sheets given to him by party officials. So…mm…He knew exactly how to fake the registration and needed help from no one in making it fit the deaddemo template.. Hillary got the majority of dead votes. Illegal votes. N dumbasses. All the communists. Because there were a million punks acting alone in sync w demorats… No collusion..did Hillary hire the Russians to do this? Was Seth rich doing those walk sheets? Did he leak it to assange so Hillary killed Seth?

    • dondehoff

Bill, he also should lose his right to vote for say 5 years—which would require a “pink” photo ID card, clearly stating that the holder is prohibited from voting. Second offense, lose his right to vote. forever.

  • charliesix

ooppsss…this must be false news, democrats and their enablers cannot and do not do such dastardly acts only a racist, misogynistic, homophobic conservative is capable of.

  • Dan McGrew

1955 == The then DixiCrat southern dictators registered eight cemeteries [By year of death and alphabetically in all eight precincts!!!!] All in one county to enroll enough voters to defeat superior then Republican candidate for the state legislature.
1968 — Those same DixiCrat southern dictators moved enmasse to buy control of that state’s Progressive Republican party. Presented a cashier’s check for $7-Million.
Their uber-conservative far-right operation is now the anithesis of Republican values.

  • Matthew Bowman

This person did it 18 times, they should have gotten the maximum sentence for each infraction. The media’s BS that voter fraud does not exist is false. How do you think Barry got elected twice? Know anybody that voted for him? Didn’t think so!

  • misterguru

Slap on the wrist. Do it again.

  • Louie Rey

Right off the top there’s one HUGE mischaracterization of this guy. He’s being called an “activist.” He’s not an activist, he’s a criminal plain and simple and should be dealt with much more harshly than he is. It’s a twerp like him that has the ability to influence an election more than some Russian somewhere. Where’s the outcry by the Left on THIS? There will be no outcry because the Left looks at this as a missed opportunity not a crime. Everyday my stomach turns more and more with every despicable action, or in this case non-action, by the Left.

    • Mark_A_Thomas

All of this criminal behavior is just standard operating procedure for the criminal operation know as the DNC.

  • Susan

I can’t imagine ANYone merely working ‘alone’ in this type of crime. How often does a person say, “Hmmm, I feel like committing voter fraud by falsifying some records here and there. MY doing this will certainly make a difference in the election turnout.”

    uh…don’t think so.

I’m more likely to believe that the ‘I worked alone’ claim was under a threat or to protect even MORE guilty parties. And I think any investigator should follow up on this.

  • Stan Stowe

First of all, this guy must be a moron. Every thing seems to point to conspiracy by the democratic party , because I doubt that this guy is intelligent to come up with this scheme on his own. I wonder how many illegal votes have got by with more intelligent people? Obviously there must have been all kinds of alarms going off with made up SSN. I know for a fact that the attorney general in Washington thru out charges in voter fraud, because he is liberal and all the cases were democratic people. He felt that it did not warrant cost for court to prosecute because no one single person was a victim, and felt that a it did not change the out some, however if you look at one case, you can imagine that there are hundreds that escape prosecution since it was democrat voter fraud.
There is maybe 3 1/2 million illegal votes in the national election, any one want to bet what the percentage is for democrats?
