‘ There’s a difference between skimming the pages and actually reading it and understanding it…’
(Kaylee McGhee, Liberty Headlines) Rep. Justin Amash, D-Mich.—thus far, the only Republican to call President Donald Trump’s conduct “impeachable”—claimed several others privately agree with him.
“I’ve had people who, after I made my tweets said, ‘Boy, they’d better review it more carefully now and they hadn’t really gone through it before.'”
Amash added that Vol. 2 of Mueller’s report “speaks for itself,” referencing the section that evaluates whether Trump obstructed justice.
Mueller said he wasn’t able to conclude “decisively” whether Trump obstructed justice, and left it to Congress to decide.
“So people who are baffled by it, I wonder how carefully they read Vol. 2 because it’s there. There’s a difference between skimming the pages and actually reading it and understanding it,” he said, adding that some of his peers had expressed sympathy with his viewpoints.
Amash wrote on Twitter last week that Mueller’s report identified “multiple examples of conduct satisfying all the elements of obstruction of justice.”
Trump slammed Amash on Twitter shortly after.
….he would see that it was nevertheless strong on NO COLLUSION and, ultimately, NO OBSTRUCTION…Anyway, how do you Obstruct when there is no crime and, in fact, the crimes were committed by the other side? Justin is a loser who sadly plays right into our opponents hands!

Other Trump allies have accused Amash of seeking publicity, but Amash dismissed their criticism and said his only “job is to defend the Constitution.”
“I’m laying out the information I want to lay out and it’s not about getting on TV or anything like that,” he said. “I want to make sure that I’m presenting it in the most clear-cut, sober way possible.”
