Race Warriors Decry ‘White Jesus’

In their attempt to politicize everything along racial lines, race warriors are now denouncing traditional Christianity as an invention of white people seeking to dominate and control “people of color” (POC).

Writing for the Blavity website, billed as “the Buzzfeed for black millennials,” race warrior Danni Roseman proclaims her progressive alienation from Christianity after being “bombarded with images of this sandy-brown-haired, blue-eyed, White man”—namely, Jesus Christ.

In her angry essay titled “My Beef with White Jesus,” Roseman lashes out at missionaries and preachers, and all who have propagated the myth of White Jesus. All their preaching is just one more instance of “White people telling minority peoples what to say, and how to behave,” she states.

“By beating individuals into submission, and calling it love, White Christians have brainwashed, and whitewashed generations of POC’s traditions,” she announces. Never mind that for most black Americans, those traditions are intimately linked to the black community’s long-standing ties with the Christian Church.

For race warriors like Ms. Roseman, everything—even religion—is first and foremost about race. (She also has serious issues with Jesus’ being a “man,” but says she will deal with that at another time.)

By “White Jesus,” Roseman means “the commercialized and whitewashed version of Christianity that has been used to colonize, exploit and pacify minorities and people of color for hundreds of years.” According to this logic, the thousands of black Christian leaders and clergy in the U.S. and elsewhere are nothing more than collaborators in a subversive plan to keep blacks under the boot of whites.

The only option for a true race warrior is to abandon Christianity as an ineffective instrument for liberation of POC.

“It’s obvious,” Roseman writes, “White Jesus is not the answer to POC gaining equality, respect and acceptance in this world no matter how lightly we tread, how peacefully we protest, or how enthusiastically we pray, sing, and worship.”

“The more I read, and study, and question, the harder it’s becoming to reconcile my relationship with Christianity as it is today,” Roseman states.

It’s not just Jesus who is too white, but Christianity itself.

“My main qualm with Westernized Christianity,” she declares, “is that it has been used for hundreds of years as a measuring stick to determine—but mostly negate—the humanity of minority peoples.”

And so, Roseman says who is “taking a step back from White Jesus and all his radical henchmen” because she has basically lost faith in him as a savior—at least according to her categories.

Of course, while divorcing herself from Jesus, Roseman assures readers that she will continue “cultivating spirituality,” which will help to “challenge myself to unlearn things I once accepted as gospel.”

The more today’s race warriors gain sway in contemporary public discourse, the further America strays from Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “dream” of a color-blind America and the more racially antagonistic society becomes.

Blavity claims its mission is “to add more balance to the way Black people are represented in media and culture.” If Ms. Roseman’s essay is an example of that “balance,” one shudders to think what extremism might look like.

She said:”(WHITE Jesus Christianity) … as a measuring stick to determine—but mostly negate—the humanity of minority peoples.”. WOW. Are we over the top yet. I fear the race warriors are descending into insanity. But, that ain’t bad. It seems the POCs are awakening to the self serving agenda of the Liberals, messaging to keep them “on the Plantation” over the last 150 or so years. Keep it up Ms Roseman, to an ever dwindling audience. Memo: Christ was born in Bethlehem, not The Sudan.

    • Daniel Brofford

      Amen just Joe ?

    • EDRFTGyhujik

      Amen is right

    • Lynn Salton

Christ was born in Bethelehm which would mean he would NOT be blonde haired and he NOT have blue eyes.

      • JUSTJOE_P

And you are Probably correct. But don’t be so sure. He probably wasn’t black either. So since nobody is around who actually saw him, what the hell difference does it make. Paint a picture of him as a Pacific Islander with Down’s syndrome. Only the strange Ms Roseman and others of her bent mentality, care to make an issue of it as a tool of oppression.

        • Roger Cain

Jesus told His disciples He had to go to the cross because in the flesh He could not be inside everyone who believes in Him. He is not a Jewish messiah only but died for the sin of the whole world.

  • Daniel W

Here’s one solid fact for you, Jesus was a Palestinian!!!.

    • 762×39

No, he was a Jew. Israel was renamed Palestine after the Romans destroyed the temple in 70 ce.

      • Katrina

Jesus was a Palestinian. Lol. Cute.

        • James Brooks

Jesus was actually from Utah and he was White.

  • TPS12

For all the talk to see no color we sure spend a lot of time and energy on identifying color in every area of conversation.

  • Allan Scott

Ms. Roseman’s a moron if there ever was. Everyone knows that Jesus was an Italian from Sicily.
    Right Ms. dumb-dumb?

    • bootcamp808

No, wait! Jesus is a Mexican. He does my yard work every other Tuesday.

    • GBarry

Ever consider looking at the Bible to determine the lineage of Jesus??? He was a Jew, descended from Abraham through Jacob. See Matthew 1 and Luke 3. The Bible never described his features so we do not know what he looked like. Once you consider what the Bible says about him and what he taught you will understand it did not matter, his teaching and the model he left is what matters. He taught people to love one another and be forgiving, a lesson totally overlooked by most people. Love unifies. Jesus sent his disciples out into the world of all mankind to teach these things. The nonsense in this article and others like it divides. Go back and learn the lesson Jesus taught.

  • david goodman

Jesus isn’t of this world.just took on form to show people that God’s real.

  • edwinrad

A description of Jesus is in Isaiah 53. He took on a body prepared for Him(Hebrews 10:5) to judge sin in the flesh(Romans 8:3).

  • Mercedes Austin (The ALMIGHTY

Jesus of Nazareth was a Nazarene and while the Bible doesn’t specify race, the Tales of the Arabian Nights (Arabian stories passed down over a thousand years) do specify the race of different cultures and the Nazarenes are described as being the whitest people in the area.

    • MMoran0513

First, Jesus was NOT a Nazerene by blood…His earthly paternal lineage (the House of David) hailed from Bethlehem; but relocated to Nazareth after the escape to Egypt. Second…if one was to look at most of the area’s indigenous people even today, one might notice they are not really caucasian; but have a darker skin color. With this in mind, one would be led to assume that the real Jesus was most likely NOT white…and I say this as a Bible-believing white man in North America. Faith in Jesus Christ trancends skin color…it always has, and always will. The many horrors inflicted by the various purveyors of false religion through the ages (most notably the Catholic Church’s empire building via the Spanish & Portugese in the Americas & ‘partnering’ up with the Muslim slave traders in Africa) are NOT a true reflection of real Christianity; but are a perversion of the faith for earthly purposes…which is ALWAYS wrong. ” What is REAL Christianity? To find out, read the New Testament!

      • Daniel Brofford

You are right MMoran. I know in a lot of churches they have a picture of a long hair man with a beard. I would say if we could see Jesus as he looked when he walked this earth I doubt that is what he looked like. But I don’t care what he looked like and I am not going to let some picture dictate what I believe about Jesus. This woman when she becomes a true Christian will not let her hatred of race affect her walk with Christ. I don’t know the reason why that so many church’s has the same picture. Is it because that truly want to control people of a different color I won’t pretend I know what’s in their heart but I know that when I close my eyes and pray in my minds eye it is not that picture that I see. If she goes through live trying to unlearn some of the things that may be true about Jesus she may find that she has let the evil one win her soul because she is mad at white people. All we can do is pray for everyone. God bless us all.

          Thank you

        • ברוך הבא בשם יהוה

Christ had short hair or he violated the Mosiac law and are faith is in vain. All Jewish men had very short so not to be disheveled hair unless they took a Nazarite vow like the Baptizer. Jesus drank wine. Paul made it clear about long hair on men being an abomination. Gentiles had long hair. Jews are obsessed with being set apart/qadesh or translated as holy. You could spot a Jew for miles with their short hair and beards. Josephus wrote about it as well. Point is, Jesus had very short hair. Sol Ivictus had long hair

        • Roger Cain

National Geographic did a story on what did Jesus really look like. Their guess was more of a short stature person of darker skin who looked more Mexican to me. Not a problem, I like Mexicans as well as my own race, whatever that is, who knows? I am central United States so what? Nobody should argue over which race is best, none are. We are all sinners and rejecting of god and each other until we hear the gospel and are converted without force. our choice. Racism will never go away, we all think we are better than the others until we realize we are not. Race is only defined as being from a different family tree and we are all that. Even siblings kill each other, Cain and Abel, many stories to that, no race there, just selfish attitude. We should and can do better, I try to treat others by the golden rule, no harm there.

      • lovezion

As to the people in the desert, because that part of the world was desert, they have acquired a toasted color because of the constant sunny outdoors living. So I suppose you couldn’t tell which of them are totally white or natively toasted or blackish…Just my 2¢. And of course, Jesus and his family were Jewish! :o)

      • Snake

You’re a fool, just as this woman is, that has been indoctrinated by the teachings of a Christianity that has been infiltrated by false prophets. The Bible is quite clear as to who whites are and who negros are; there are more than 130 verses referring to behemah/chay!!

The negro is NOT of Adamic ancestry! Negros are referred to as Behemah (Hebrew)/Beast of the field (English translation) in the scripture. Christians have been indoctrinated with the lies of atheism claiming negros to be part of the evolutionary process (to justify evolution theory). READ YOUR BIBLE!

The “white race” (which includes all races except negros) has been lied to and lead away from God and scripture. There is a
reason that negros have NO moral or ethical values, there is a reason that they act like feral animals over the most minor of incidents, there is a reason that they are of lower intelligence (PROVEN by scientific testing, biological physiology, and reason standards of education have been lowered in this country to allow them to compete).

[Eight different Hebrew and Greek words, behemah, b’iyr,
ziyz, chay, cheyva’, trephah, nephesh, and ktenos, are all translated into the one English word “beast”, but they each mean different things in different contexts. The word behemah describes “beasts” who have boils on their bodies, who have hands, who could lie down with a woman to have sex with her, who have a conscience, who are put to death for violating
God’s Law, who have possessions which can be sold or redeemed, who hold authority which can be taken away, who have feet, who are inhabitants of cities, who God promises to crossbreed with Israelites and Judahites, who can be hired, who are kept in tents, who can cry mightily to God, who can turn away from evil, who wear sackcloth, whose seed Jeremiah predicted would be mixed with the House of Israel, the House of Judah, and man [read: the people of the land], none of which any four legged animal on the planet is capable of.

The word chay describes “beasts” who are allowed to eat from the corners of your field, who are evil, and who can prevent Israelites from passing through the land.

Only homo sapiens have such traits and capabilities to this day. There are species of humans who are not of “Adam”, which means “ruddy” or to blush. Thus the word “beast” can describe only homo sapiens who are not of the Adamic [read: Caucasoid] race but who do have similar but not equal physical and intellectual traits.]

God tells us about false prophets and deceivers in the end times, as well he tells us that the behemah will rape, murder, create chaos, and try to attain equality with man – this is what is occurring NOW! Claiming racism is nothing but a form of
intimidation from the evil left to prevent the “white race” from
hearing, telling, or knowing the truth about behemah!

        • MMoran0513

I do read my Bible…actually I’ve read it cover-to-cover more times than I can recall…and in at least 5 different translations.
In doing so, I long ago discovered that Moses’ 2nd wife was a woman of color ( see Numbers 12:1. The direct Hebrew translation is “… for he had in fact married an Ethiopian woman….”) If, as you says, folks of dark skin are something less than human; WHY would the Creator of the Universe allow His friend Moses to ‘become as one flesh’ with this woman?
I don’t usually devolve to such invectives, but sir, I perceive that YOU are the fool…having let yourself be so horrendously deceived by the enemy! Your words are a sign of the end times; calling good evil, and evil good! You have chosen the perfect ‘handle’ for yourself…representative of the father of lies leading people astray. You will be in my prayers; that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes.

      • EDRFTGyhujik

It says in the bible that Mary was a virgin most fair which I am assuming to be whiter than most. Jesus probably had brown eyes since most of the people in that area had brown eyes. He may have not been white white, but he was certainly not black and if she is going to hate Jesus because he is white then she has been following Satan too much. I am frankly sick of this race crap anyway.

      • irish1919

Jews were darker skinned admittedly. To say there were white is not beyond the pale (no pun intended) I know Jesus doesn’t care what color you view Him as. All he cares about is that you believe and repent. No matter what race, gender, status , man or woman, He died for our sins and our salvation. To somehow suggest a white Jesus denotes racism is utterly ridiculous .

      • Cheryl S.

Jesus was Jewish. Look at Jewish people are they black or brown?
        Ex: Golda Mayer, Benjamin Netanahue,
Moe Howard, Bill Shatner, Leneord Nimoy, Jerry Steinfield,
        Ben Stiller… And so on…

        • Most folks idea of what Jesus looked like comes from European 14th century painters, like Leonardo Da Vinci, they used european models for their depictions of Christ.

          • Cheryl S.

That is correct, however have you seen the pictures of Christ on the Byzantine Churches ex: St Sophia’s to name one,
Or the Greek Orthodox churches which pre-date Europeans like DaVinci by about 1000 yrs. As I said they had very artistic people in Christ’s time. They were not primitives.

        • ברוך הבא בשם יהוה

          Jesus had short hair

        • MMoran0513

Considering the 2k years in between and the ‘blending’ of the gene pool, I suspect such an argument does not hold much validity. Multiple-generations removed Semetic folks of today couled very well not physically resemble the area’s indigenous people of the First Century era.

          • Cheryl S.

Still you are not considering eye witnesses and the artistic ability of his peers. If you consider 40 years for a generation that just means 50 generations in 2000 years. Also, have you seen pictures of the Syrian refugees ?
            Are they intermingled gene pools?

          • MMoran0513

Please direct me to one of these “artistic eyewitness” renderings of Jesus…I’ve never seen one!
The genepool of Syrian refugees has nothing to do with the folks of Jewish descent you mentioned. They’re mostly (the notable exception being Mr. Netanyahu) of recent European extraction; with many born right here in North America. It would be a safe bet to assume there is some Gentile blood in most -if not all- of them. Conversely, cultures such as one finds in areas like Syria tend towards a more exclusive society, with less of a ‘blending’ factor. Not that there is no mixed bloodlines; but the incidence is quite apparently much, much less than in Europe and North America. So no, Syrian refugees are obviously a less mixed genepool than the folks you mentioned; and generally less mixed than even most of today’s population of Israel (which grew from 800k in 1948 to over 8m today…mostly by immigration…talk about a blended genepool!.

          • Cheryl S.

That is not really the point… I’m talking about physical characteristics in that area of the world, and you are confirming my point.
Are Syrian refugees brown or dark… You say their gene pool did not mix as much as the Jews so that leads to the conclusion that indigenous people from that area look like the non- diversified Syrians.
Your witnesses of Jesus are Peter, James, Andrew, Bartholew, John, Philip, Thadeus, Simon, Thomas,
Simon the zealot, His mother his father, the 500 who saw Jesus after the resurrection — you mean not one of these people had at least rudimentary artistic abilities? That’s difficult to believe.

          • MMoran0513

No; I’m not saying any such thing…I’m saying, “Show me the artwork! I’d LOVE to see it”. Where are all these renderings of my Lord & Savior that you’re referring to?

          • Cheryl S.

            Quit being silly, I
Never said that I had paintings of Jesus.. You are putting your own words in my mouth. I said that the Jewish people have a very descriptive oral tradition and that they pass it down–
Comprende ? So as a few (relatively speaking) centuries pass in the 2-3rd centuries we have mosaics in the orthodox churches.
Versus the thousands of years since either Ark.

          • MMoran0513

I am well aware of the millenia-old verbal tradition of passing on Ancient Jewish Wisdom, and I imagine artistic skills were at least as common as today…SO…if one compares all the mosaics of Jesus from the 2nd & 3rd century (and beyond), why do no 2 of them look similar? Of the many that I’ve seen (photos of); each one appears to have been genetatated

          • Roger Cain

When people fall in love they do not care what race the other person is, kinda out of societies control other than killing some for violating social norms. Other countries do not go by laws only vigilante rule.

        • Sassy

You’re right, but you’ve got to put the fact there are no attempts or paintings of him until the third century. If you could time travel to his last week, you would find that most people weren’t aquainted with him and those who were mostly wanted to just ignore him…he was just another poor, country carpenter preaching another new doctrine. Painting supplies being so expensive, it’s highly doubtful anyone, before his death and resurrection, would’ve even considered painting him.

Besides, if you read Is. 53, well, it seems from his pretty nondescript description there, that maybe Father God didn’t WANT people focusing on making images of him made so idol worship wouldn’t start, so he kept the description vague.

          • Cheryl S.

Sassy you are right as well, God does not want idol worship however since Christ is God is it really idol worship? As we try to immulate God on Earth….Emmanuel means God with us. Which is Jesus.

      • ברוך הבא בשם יהוה

Paternally he was adopted by a member of the tribe of Judah. Mother was a Levite and Father was God Almighty

    • Devasahayam the Deplored

Actually, there is a description of Jesus by a Roman official named Publius Lentulus, of which I’ll give gist below.

      “Tall and regal-faced with rich-chestnut hair/beard, and light-olive skin”.

      • irish1919

Not surprising . He was a Jew. Why do we labor over this? Just ignore this messenger. He definitely does not being Tidings of great joy.

      • ברוך הבא בשם יהוה

        Jesus had very short hair

    • irish1919

Exactly. He is a Jew by birth. He is Lord and Savior of all people who believe in Him . It’s not about race. It is about salvation. I’m all in favor for God in His infinite grace will save a sinner like me. It also applies to this guy who said these things. Repent and believe. It’s not difficult.

    • He was Jewish, if you read your bible, Matthew 1, a olive skinned race, quit trying to make him something he wasn’t, including black or white! There is no technical description of Jesus only he was Jewish from the House of David.

    • Stevesrq

9 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”

12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

      • Roger Cain

This does not help the argument since it is the resurrected Jesus in His glorified body not the one he had on earth before being crucified. The passage says He had white hair, nothing of skin color, which God chose for us if He created each of us individually in the womb. We should be happy to be what we are and give Him the glory and honor. He loves us more than we love ourselves or others. Get over it all, accept others as they are to accept you and get along, good grief

        • Stevesrq

If you read the passage carefully you will see that it does in fact settle the argument once and for all, for those who are willing to have it settled. Jesus is God and he is revealed as God in that passage. Before he was born here, he was God (the word) and word became flesh and dwelt among us. While he was here he was God (the son, the only begotten of the Father, God with us). When he returned he was God, our great high priest. He was born on this earth into the Jewish race through the virgin Mary, so if there is a preferred race of people on the planet it would be the jew. But the Jews (all but a remnant) rejected him and basically said “would you please choose someone else for a while”. And so he did, he chose the christian. And the Jews were scattered throughout the world till the year 1948 when they returned to their land and once again. God chose them as physical Israel the people of his blessing. Now we have physical Israel and spiritual Israel the Christians. So now any believer in christ from any race, is Gods chosen people. What he looked like while he was on the earth is irrelevant. People who worry over the skin color of Jesus when he walked on the earth, don’t understand who he really is. He still keeps his promises to Abraham and will one day return to rescue all of Israel, both spiritual and physical.

          • Roger Cain

Wow, that theology seems well put together. Now if our daily life reflects God’s expressed will, we should be OK to go. The world will be a better place if not perfect.

          • Stevesrq

Our daily lives will express Gods will as we give up on our own efforts and surrender to Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to live out his life through us. Gods will can not be accomplished in our efforts even if we want to love one another without an omniscient point of view and Gods wisdom we cant even know where to start. Politics, picket lines, college brain washing, political correctness, are filthy rags and a stench in Gods nostrils. Everyone regardless of race just needs to settle down and ask Jesus to help them to consider others more important than themselves. The world will never be perfect till Jesus comes back and cleans up the mess.

We may not know, but we can take an educated guess. Being actually from the Bethlehem area (NOT Nazareth); Jesus was most likely of a brown skin color, as are most of the areas’ indigenous people today. Not that this matters one way or another; as The Good News is not changed in the least! “…whether yellow, black or white, they are precious in HIS sight…” (from “Everything Is Beautiful” by Ray Stevens)

      • Daniel Brofford

Your getting better and better MMoran.

Bible says his feet were like the color of bronze and his hair was woolly like the coat of a lamb——why do you think he was called the sacrificial lamb

      • Sassy

Boy are you misreading that. That describes His appearance at the second coming, not His first coming.

        • Kuroi Ryuu

NOT…it describes him as he WAS supposedly here—–you’re trying to rewrite it as they already have done

I never think about a persons nationality when I speak to them – it don’t enter my thought process. Yet hearing people talk about skin color short comings on issues sure makes one think about that person is insecure and or angry. Why go there – why think someone is out to get you. No one enjoys being around a pessimist ( The glass is half empty) –yet everyone wants to be around an optimist ( The glass is half full)!?

“The more today’s race warriors gain sway in contemporary public discourse, the further America strays from Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “dream” of a color-blind America and the more racially antagonistic society becomes.”

    Thanks to the race warriors.

“’My main qualm with Westernized Christianity,” she declares, “is that it has been used for hundreds of years as a measuring stick to determine—but mostly negate—the humanity of minority peoples.’”

WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT IN THE BIBLE? And why are so many blacks Christian, including Martin Luther King?

    • Kuroi Ryuu

Unfortunately on King believed in that and not the white people who killed him——you fckers love to throw up king but if he were marching today, he would be called all kinds of N words—And for your info, Blacks are Christians today because that was the religion beat into them by their enslavers—DUH

      • Sassy

BS! The black Christians of TODAY have never had anyone “beat” Christianity into them by enslaved since there’s been no slavery for over 150 years in this country. The only “enslavers” who could be “beating” Christianity into them now would be their own families.

        • Kuroi Ryuu

Your ignorance precedes you—–enslavement never ended number one, number two this BS Christianity was passed down from generation to generation and 3, those enslaved took on the religion of their captures—but hey, I forgive your inbred racist blindness to the truth, your being a good Christian and all LMAO—ignorance is indeed bliss on your part, by the way: What colour are your sheets

          • Sassy

Oh look! It’s another loving, tolerant liberal who can’t face the truth.

And yeah, I’m a Christian and I love each person and take each one on theor own merits, not the color of their skin.

  • higgy01

Jesus Christ was born in the middle east which means he probably had a dark olive complexion. So he was neither “white” nor “Black”. But then who cares except the trouble making nincompoops that like to cause trouble for it’s own sake. I spent over 4 years in the Marine Corps, if this trouble making woman thinks she has the backbone, try it, it would abate some of her miss directed energy. I don’t think she has any backbone and all she wants to do is stir things up to enhance her own tenuous ego!

    • Snake

It is biological fact that all races except negros have “white” skin. Their complexion is merely a darkening caused by the amount of sun and other environmental factors. BUT negro skin, true negros, (not the mixed race mulattos) have a permanent layer of dark pigment (melanin) below the epidermis that prevents their skin from ever being white! All of the white races are descendants of Adam, the negro is NOT, they are called behemah or chay in Hebrew scripture. They are NOT a race of Adamic man. All of this racism crap is a creation of evil to adulterate the descendants of Adam in violation of God’s law.

There is a reason that negros have NO moral or ethical values, there is a reason that they act like feral animals over the most minor of incidents, there is a reason that they are of lower intelligence (PROVEN by scientific testing, biological physiology, and reason standards of education have been lowered in this country to allow them to compete).

[Eight different Hebrew and Greek words, behemah, b’iyr, ziyz, chay, cheyva’, trephah, nephesh, and ktenos, are all translated into the
one English word “beast”, but they each mean different things in
different contexts. The word behemah describes “beasts” who have boils on their bodies, who have hands, who could lie down with a woman to have sex with her, who have a conscience, who are put to death for violating God’s Law, who have possessions which can be sold or redeemed, who hold authority which can be taken away, who have feet, who are inhabitants of cities, who God promises to crossbreed with Israelites and Judahites, who can be hired, who are kept in tents, who can cry mightily to God, who can turn away from evil, who wear sackcloth, whose seed Jeremiah predicted would be mixed with the House of Israel, the House of Judah, and man [read: the people of the land], none of which any four legged animal on the planet is capable of.

The word chay describes “beasts” who are allowed to eat from the
corners of your field, who are evil, and who can prevent Israelites from
      passing through the land.

Only homo sapiens have such traits and capabilities to this day. There
are species of humans who are not of “Adam”, which means “ruddy” or to blush.

Claiming racism is nothing but a form of intimidation from the evil left to prevent the “white race” from hearing, telling, or knowing the truth about behemah!

      • Lynn Salton

        1. Your biological fact “that all races except Negros have “white” skin” is absolute fiction. There isn’t reputable biologist or doctor in the world that support your fable.
        2. If you want to pretend to be an expert on “biology” you should know that the theory that humanity descended from Adam and Eve has been proven impossible by genetics.
        3. The rest of your drivel trying to prove “Negroes” have no morals based on their skin color is just pathetic.

Why do we continue to deal with these life forms? Have you had enough, yet?

    Why are we waiting?

Jesus was not White as in European White. Jesus mother was a Jewish woman so she would have looked like any other woman from that region of the world. Dark Hair, Dark Eyes, Olive Complexion, Mediterranean/ Arabic type complexion. Since Jesus was an immaculate conception he would have had 100% of his mothers genes. So chances are he would look much like people from Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, or Syria. There where no Muslims as Mohamed was not yet even Born for another 570 years after Jesus Birth so that was not even a thing. Modern Jews would be lighter then their ancestors ads they have returned from Europe and Western Asia like Russia to relocate to their ancestral homeland. They carried with them a lot of cross breeding with European and Asian blood. I have been to Israel there are a lot of European Jews now living there. So now you even have blonds, I don’t think that would have been the case 2000 years ago with transportation limited to foot, Camels, donkeys, Horses and small coastal sailing ships.

    • CORRECT! And thus blows the ‘blue eyes’ out the window … Immanuel’s eyes were – and are – brown as are most Hebrews of Judean lineage …

    • Snake

Really? Do you even understand that ALL Caucasoids descended from Adam? It doesn’t matter where they moved to or from, ALL of the genes for characteristics (height, eye color, hair color, etc) were in Adam and eve. Those genes were expressed depending on whether they were dominant or recessive. All of the guessing/interpretation is just that, nothing but blind guessing! What was NOT in the Adamic gene pool is the negro genes.

The negro is NOT of Adamic ancestry! Negros are referred to as Behemah (Hebrew)/Beast of the field (English translation) in the
scripture. Christians have been indoctrinated with the lies of atheism
claiming negros to be part of the evolutionary process. READ YOUR BIBLE!

The “white race” (which includes all races except negros) has been lied to and lead away from God and scripture. There is a reason that negros have NO moral or ethical values, there is a reason that they
act like feral animals over the most minor of incidents, there is a reason that they are of lower intelligence (PROVEN by scientific testing, biological physiology, and reason standards of education have been lowered in this country to allow them to compete).

NOTICE how all these racist are calling Black people racist for speaking the truth. YET at the same time these are the people having a shit fit because of the Black Santa at the Mall of America——PROOF these fckers are mentally sick

    • Tim Jones

Just curious but why is America the only country that a certain portion of a certain segment of society goes out of it’s way to be entirely different? In most other first world countries, if you listened to a person speak and couldn’t see them, you would not know what their skin color is. Only in America do you have a group that tries so hard to not be part of the larger scheme yet claims they are purposely segregated out. I don’t get it.

      • Kuroi Ryuu

In other countries they are all of the same race/ethnicity but of a lower class and they do speak differently as in dialects etc—–Furthermore as for Blacks, the language they speak is the same southern whites speak from which they learned it—In this country, language is spoken according to region but your racist bliss can’t wrap your head around that—AS FAR AS BEING DIFFERENT, PEOPLE LIKE YOU REMIND US OF THAT ON A DAILY BASIS OF THAT AS OUR SKIN COLOUR DOES NOT ALLOW US TO BE ACCEPTED BY THE LIKES OF YOU THEREFORE YOU ARE ENGAGING IN FALSE EQUIVALENCE TO JUSTIFY YOUR BIAS—-“Only in America is a group so ostracized by the dominant culture and blamed for it—–And for your info, you can tell the difference between a Brit of colour as opposed to a Brit who is white as whites have a high pitched whinny voice ——-Furthermore you cannot justify yourself with that BS statement as you have not lied elsewhere and there are no such studies to affirm your faulty, racist belief per your pusillanimous and inane commentary—-MAYBE YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO SOME OF YOUR SOUTHERN INBRED BRETHREN BEFORE YOU GENERALIZE

        • Tim Jones

Wow, that’s a lot of hate built up in you. I hope someday you grow up and are able hold an adult conversation. Gotta give you some credit being able to spell words with more than two syllables. As to your rage post, I have talked with black and white brits, even Indian brits and they all carried the same dialect. They were all in Manchester which has a very distinct accent. I’ve also run into the same dialect, black and white in French. Same in Ireland and the same goes for Spanish people I’ve talked to. Different colors, same way of talking. Maybe if you traveled outside the U.S. you would know this. You are correct that the south has various southern accents but you are completely wrong concerning Ebonics. Ebonics have zero relation to any of the southern accents. My original question goes back to the reason for insisting on speaking Ebonics. It shares no origin to any existing U.S. dialects but people insist on talking that way which can be very hard for others to understand. It’s even tougher when a person needs something said in ebonics repeated but doesn’t ask out of fear of being accused of racism. Why not talk like any other ethnic group in America talks? A person who chooses to be different has no ground to stand on when they are called out for it.

          • Kuroi Ryuu

Again your ignorance precedes you—-If you took the time to research regional DIALECTS IN THE us and the impact southern language had on the enslaved blacks who mimicked their masters AKA illiterate whites like yourself, you would learn something but nooooo you’d rather wear your racist googles and make pusillanimous comments like this——Black people speak English just as well as you if not better so take your ignorant slight called Ebonics and do us all a favor and crawl back up into the rotten hole your crawled your racist inbred ass out of and abort yourself

          • Tim Jones

Sorry racist, you’re still wrong. I am extremely familiar with southern dialects and Ebonics has no comparable heritage. I have serious doubts that you are black but if you are, I feel for everyone else that may be stereotype based off of your racist comments. Ebonics originated in northern inner cites. Not the south. Keep trying though. At some point sheer statistics alone should allow you to get something right.

  • Kissingfan

What wacky weed is person smoking? I have seen many Nativity scenes where the baby isn’t white but it isn’t black either. The fact is that he was born into a Jewish family who had traveled fro a few days in the hot sun. But they were of a darkened complexion because of their environment. The heat and sun of the area that they were constantly exposed to made them appear dark and weathered in appearance. He has not as white as I may be but he also wasn’t as black as the Africans either. To hear this misguided person speak shows me that there is more behind her misperception of the Christ Jesus than just being “bombarded” by the colors painted on a Nativity Scene.

Was this supposed to be some kind of liberal arts writing assignment?

Let’s do the math — 110 million Sub-Saharan Africans were murdered by Muslims and considerably more enslaved by them (100% of slaves brought to US shores were captured by Muslims — and OIC member Sudan is still enslaving people from Darfur, after it lost South Sudan) than by whites — and also they do clitorectomies on women oft (which would have been done on Danni Roseman).

It’s much like my historically-validated comparison of George Nathaniel Curzon (who most desis, including myself, consider one of the worst of British Viceroys of India) to any of the Delhi Sultans or Mughal rulers from 1192 to 1739 — the six years of Curzon’s Viceregalty were FAR BETTER than the 547 years of Muslim tyranny!

Simple question, was Jesus White or Black. He did exist as something did he not?

  • icate

Jesus was Jewish, Semitic, born in Bethlehem, in the Central West Bank of what is now called Palestine. Jesus can be represented as any color or race you choose, Ms Roseman, because whatever color you choose to paint Him, He still represents the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, which makes nonsense of your claim that He represents white domination of people of color. Many people categorize Semitic people as colored, so that would blow your theory out of the water, even if Christ’s teachings did not. Have another go Ms Roseman.

  • Tyronne Shoelaces

Apparently this black person doesn’t believe Jesus existed or maybe he was black or a woman. This is what happens when you have a homosexual muslim running your country. Anything to stir up problems in the community and cause division. Send that porch monkey to Leavenworth for treason.

First of all if you have a question that Jesus was a man you don’t know what you are talking about..Jesus was God’s son….white, black, brown , red doesn’t matter he died for mine and your sins and forgiveness for eternal life when you grasp that color doesn’t Matter!

  • Mike Aijlman

Ms Roseman has a few good point, but her indictment of white Christianity shows that she knows very little about the Christian faith, & nothing about Jesus at all. Christianity is a Middle Eastern faith, that is Jewish by its very essence. The Jews were promised a Messiah, & Jesus was Him. Scripture said the Jews would reject Him, & that the Gentiles would come to believe in Him. And so the Christian faith eventually became westernized & carnalized with lots of fakery, not the least of them being a white, boo dish Jew from Nazareth. Unless Ms. Roseman gets beyond her color hangup, she will never discover the love of God or the salvation that comes through Yeshua the Messiah.

The only racist in America his story is the one telling it. Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior and to use him to make a ridiculous and ignorant lie just shows why Trump won. We had a president for 8 years who did nothing but divide the country. Supported the criminals and vilified the victims. BLM is a black hate group funded by George Soros ,that spews hate toward white police officers and are Main instigators . Really shows the hypocracy of the left. They always preach tolerance yet they are the most intolerant people in the country . They are against free speech unless it’s there speech . Against legal citizens having the right to carry guns to protect themselves and their loved ones. Everywhere you look they want to do away with our constitutional rights. They are the bigots . They always talk about it. Well it’s falling on deaf ears. People are sick of the left trying to transform this country from a Republic to a communist state.

  • rowono

I read this exact discussion 50 years ago. (While she does have a point, Jesus’ ethnicity doesn’t make a difference.) The person who made this argument was Malcolm X. He changed religions. She can do so as well. What she can’t change are facts. Old Testament prophets complained about the same things. People are just as sinful as ever. So blame them, not God.

  • Col C

Jesus was not white, he was a Middle Eastern Jewish carpenter, and most likely medium brown skinned. Nobody is white by the way, we are all varying shades of tan, and brown, and I am sick of seeing white as a nationality on forms. Skin color is not a nationality, there are even white Africans with blue eyes, it happens sometimes. We all have the same DNA, and we are all the same race, the human race, DNA proves this. We all came from the same place originally, and we are all just varying shades from beige to dark brown, even albinos are not completely white. All this talk just adds to the tension between colors, and causes division, and distracts from the real issues of sin and evil. What did Martin Luther King Jr. say ” We should be judged by the content of our character” and the content of our character is pretty bad these days, that is for sure.

The Bible was Not Written for the so called White man. It was written for The so called Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans who are under the curse of Deuteronomy 28:15-68. In Genesis 15:13-14 it was prophesises we would go into slavery and oppression for 400 years this started in 1619. It is interesting how now the so called white person now wants to come to some reconciliation after we built this country. After you killed hundreds of millions of us enslaved us used our infants and toddlers as Alligator bait. Sorry but the remedy is to never trust and separate from you. Martin Luther King made the mistake of tyring to make nice with psychopaths and now they are inventing new was to kill us. No thanks. I’ll just keep the commandments and turn away from the so called white man. Besides who wants to bow down to a homosexual pedephilic incestuous so called white man?

    • Mahder444

What kind of bible Do you read? The Bible was written in Old Testament for God’s creation, for God chosen people Israelites and the Gentiles every color, who are not Jews. In Deuteronomy; Genesis, Exodus and others was written about Israelite slavery in Egypt for 400 years and God’s deliverance through Moses; with his mighty power. Also the blessing if they obey the God who set them free with his mighty power. The curse if they don’t obey. Nothing to do with the race you’re talking about. Please read your bible and let the Lord open your eyes to experience love not division and hate. Jesus is the answer.

  • hk1

The black has been dominating the black for centuries; and it continues today, everywhere..

  • Mahder444

Jesus doesn’t care about color he is our father and died for our sin. Whoever believes in him and obey his word regardless of color has eternal life. He is our Savior. The Bible said John 3:16) God love the world and he gave his only begotten son, whoever believes in him has eternal life. Don’t forget, God care about the person with contrite heart not color. But the enemy Satan always fill people’s heart with hate and division, if you know Jesus and give your life to him, the first thing you experience, the fruit of the Holy Spirit. That is love, peace, joy and forgiveness, instead of hate and bitterness. Let the Lord open your eyes to see his love instead of color.

It always fascinates me that when I am in discussions concerning the equality of the races. many say they just want what Martin Luther King wanted which was a color blind system to which I agree. But when I ask their meaning saying I agree that all must be in an equal playing field with no special accommodations given to anybody but the same opportunity given to all who are willing to work for it the normal reply is that is not what I meant. Of course we demand special accommodations to get into school irregardless of capability and the same for jobs. It would be racist otherwise.
Well guess what, there are no free lunches. You reap what you sow, you get what you work for. When you ask somebody to give you equality you will only get what they are willing to give you as they use you for their gain all the while despising you.
Anybody can succeed in America who is willing to put in the effort.

Both sides in this are both right and so wrong.

Do you think, just maybe, that God knew what he was talking about:

    2
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

We don’t know for sure what Jesus looked like, other then what we see in ourselves.

God did not create a religion, man did. God gave us guidelines to live by and a Savoir. Man, by use of religion, keep others oppressed.

I am a true follower of Christ, but I to am a sinner and need God’s guidelines and his Son as my Savoir. (As we all do)

    2nd Commandment:
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

We don’t know for sure what Jesus looked like, other then what we see in ourselves and others.

God did not create a religion, man did. God gave us guidelines to live by and a Savoir. Man, by use of religion, keep others oppressed thru out history.

I am a true follower of Christ, but I to am a sinner and need God’s guidelines and his Son as my Savoir. (As we all do)

God is love, Satan is hate. What is in your heart?

I have never heard a single white preacher make an issue of the color of Jesus skin. I grew up singing a song in Sunday school… Jesus loves the little children all the children of the world red and yellow black and white they are precious in his sight Jesus loves the little children of the world.

These people are not race warriors they are racists. Race will not be an excuse for not believing in Jesus no one will be allowed to say i didn’t believe in you because i was black and your pics were white. There is a description of the Lord in the first chapter of revelations if you want to know what he looks like these days here you go.
    ………………………

Revelations (1:9-18) I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”

I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades….
    ……………………..

Don’t let an angry, spoiled, race bating troublemaker keep you from trusting in Jesus.
    …………………..
John 3:16-21 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who BELIEVES in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who BELIEVES in him. But anyone who does not BELIEVE in him has already been judged for not BELIEVING in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”

  • Laughing at you

If all you see is racism then you are the racist. STFU You racist Danni Roseman.

  • brabbie2002

Hate to tell you racist black millennial imbeciles this – Jesus was Jewish, not African, Ethiopian or any other black race! Jewish and as such his skin was probably light or a slight tan color! But you know what? Had you gone to Sunday School or read your Bible, you would remember Jesus loves the little children of the world. Red and Yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight! Jesus loves the little children of the world. That even includes you misogynist creeps that further racism by having nothing better to do than point out the color of people’s skin! But, then, how could you possibly carry on your “Woe is me I am downtrodden because I am black” rhetoric! Grow up and join us rebuilding America instead of doing everything you can to destroy her!

  • Julie Adams

Another black racist… Has it occurred to her that if you look at Jews today in Israel, they are not black. Many of them are light skinned and some have a more medium skin tone but none are black. Even the Jews of the Holocaust were not black. As far as the Church being too “white,” has she considered the millions of black Christians in Africa where all their churches are black? Color is just a matter of how much melatonin is in the skin, nothing more. Does she and other POC realize that blacks have enslaved other blacks around the world? Blacks have also enslaved whites. The ignorance on this issue is astounding.

  • James Maxwell

That is not a “race warrior” but a mindless moron who is trying to ferment racism
where there is non. In the time of Jesus it was people from that part of the
world and they, for the most part, were of a darker skin tone than Europeans.
Each society around the world portrays Jesus in their own likeness. I have
seen statures representing Jesus in every skin tone on the planet and have
never taken offense since we pray to the same God and respect the Son
    of GOD, Jesus.

  • robert sanders

Well it was proven that jesus was a white man. I mean he was raised by mary and joseph who were white. give me a break black guy, and this is not raceism.

  • solog

Haha…that is too funny! I think it is so funny how people can take the time to come up with these crazy things without taking the time to look at themselves or their own people….crazy!

  • tim

yet another sick and stupid story from a black racist. Why don’t the people go back to Africa so they want have to be around white people. because they know there want be free food or cars or houses. so fuckem

  • kerry88

In my opinion, she is a “fruit cake”, and is a very ignorant person. She has little clue as to what she is saying, much less thinks. The bottom line truth, which she should already know, Jesus is first of all, a Jew. Chances of Jesus being a white man with brown hair and, blue eyed is ZERO. Obviously this female thing is more obsessed with what it can whine about, than with what is true. Secondly, referring back to passages from Isaiah, which speaks about Jesus, it is also likely that he was not a handsome man at all. The inference in Isaiah is that he was miss-formed, and “ugly”. Someone that you REALLY had to look past the exterior to see the real person. Sorry folks, but truth is truth. God would not want Jesus to be handsome. Look at the way God uses what most people would ignore to do the greatest works that brings Him the most glory. So, female’s thing is off base, and badly thought out. Since she is rejecting Jesus based solely on how someone chooses to project Him, she is unwilling to submit herself to Him, in any form. Her pride, and hate is getting in her way. It takes self denial, admission of sin, that the person could NEVER be good enough to be acceptable to God, and that the belief that Jesus is the only way to salvation. as John 3:16 states, is the only way she is going to have a pleasant eternity. Her centering on what she hates, and denying Jesus based on that is not a good use of intellect.

  • Voltair

No such thing as a biological black Jew….end of discussion..!

  • Mary McGervey Haggenmaker

Have you ever noticed how white folks try to look darker every summer? Seems like it happens every year.

  • ernst

Danni Roseman should go back to some primitive African pantheistic sect. Maybe she would feel accepted there.

Do any of these “It has to be Black to be valid,” people have a real life in the real world?

  • Kiam Larsen

So just HOW would a white person react to a Black Jesus figure?? Like they do to a Black Santa Clause?? Remember this Jesus man was from the Middle east, which means he would probably be a Brown, Dark Haired individual, Not a light brown haired blue eyed individual… So WHO really is being raciest?????

    • ImOffendedTreatMeSpecial

My father in law is from Syria and I know quite a few people from Lebanon, all are white with dark hair.

  • Kiam Larsen

Dear Mr “Snake” ? Ad a Dr of evolutionary science, I find your ignorance extraordinary. You would do well to have your DNA ancestry examined. We are all related to ancestry from Africa. Sorry about that but you have black ancestry.

  • ImOffendedTreatMeSpecial

I would say she is a moron but I don’t want to insult any morons.

  • Murphmeister

Would she be happy if Jesus were an asexual green Martian or would she find fault with that? I mean to hell with his teachings, let’s talk about something profound like skin color.

  • disqus_MZe2ymfHQj

Roseman’s GUILTY CONSCIOUS has CONDEMED HER.——Jesus wasn’t white anyhow.

  • Roger Cain

Eric, if we shall all look like Jesus when he comes back as Paul said, won’t that be confusing, ha. We all could use a little more study and civility here. don’t you think?

  • Judy Sober

That woman is just plain crazy.

  • mikecoats55

if you actually knew anything about Jesus i think you would agree the color of someones skin rates so low on things that matter you’d be embarassed you brought it up,by the way i didn’t read your race baiting article only the title

  • Matthew Gatt

So in order to discredit the author, you simply write what she said and report it in a slightly condescending tone? What is your actual opinion? Do you have one?
