China Warns Trump: ‘We Will Prevent A North Korea Regime Change’

(Zero Hedge) In a troubling repudiation of President Donald Trump’s demands that Beijing do more to rein in its bellicose neighbor, Beijing, through the state-owned media, cautioned the US president on Friday that it would intervene (militarily) on North Korea’s behalf if the US and South Korea launch a preemptive strike to “overthrow the North Korean regime,” according to a statement in the influential state-run newspaper Global Times.

“If the U.S. and South Korea carry out strikes and try to overthrow the North Korean regime and change the political pattern of the Korean Peninsula, China will prevent them from doing so,” it said.

At the same time, the Chinese regime  made it clear that its preferred outcome would be a continuation of the status quo, warning Kim Jong Un that it would “remain neutral if North Korea were to strike first.” The article, cited by Rueters,  reiterated calls for a diplomatic solution. However, the possibility of talks between the two sides was looking increasingly remote as both Trump and Kim continued to exchange threats of nuclear annihilation, with Trump clarifying Thursday that his earlier promise to respond with “fire and fury” should the North continue to threaten the US may not have gone far enough.

China – North Korea’s most important ally and trading partner –  has reiterated calls for calm during the current crisis. Beijing has expressed frustration with both Pyongyang’s repeated nuclear and missile tests and with behavior from South Korea and the United States, such as military drills, that it sees as escalating tensions.

“China should also make clear that if North Korea launches missiles that threaten U.S. soil first and the U.S. retaliates, China will stay neutral,” the Global Times, which is widely read but does not represent government policy, said in an editorial…

PROOF that China is in bed with ‘Chubby Chops’ in North Korea!

    • Patriot47

Their actions have always shown they want the little maniac to have nukes and threaten the world. Actions speak louder than words. The resolution becomes more difficult as China exposes their plan.

    • Linda

You just stated what I have been wondering. Is China using North Korea as a proxy to threaten the US–something it could not do itself? Trump’s policies to strengthen the US economy can only inhibit growth in China at a time when China is overbuilt and burning through their reserves at an alarming rate.

      • Leprekhan

This is what I’ve suspected all along. This isn’t about NoKo, it’s about China. China is using NK as a pawn to start a fight. That’s why they won’t take a stand.

        • Kathryn Jordan

Don’t think that China ever wanted to take a stand when it came to North Korea. We as Americans have to stop buying stuff that is made in China and helping to “build” their economy. I still think Congress ought to put some hard sanctions on China just like they did with North Korea. Let’s see how that will affect their economy.

      • Al

Linda, how is building our economy helping China. If, we purchase from China we continue building China and killing the USA?

        • Linda

Al, if we build the US economy, we should produce more things we now purchase from China. That is what I meant by inhibit-meaning China would cease to grow and we would begin to grow again.

Without U.S. tax payer debt funding & WTO treason, both R.C. & N.K. would collapse into history.
Of course, then the Banksters would sell off the R.C. real estate & all industry, to outsiders, making HUGE profits, as they did after the collapse of USSR. Banksters own U.S. also.

China must be reigned in. STOP all financial dealings and stop importing their cheap junk.

    • steven jacobs

President Trump wants to go in that direction-congress, the courts, the bureaucracies, and half the American people are fighting him tooth and nail.

      • Constitution

Clinton’s WTO TREASON sell out destroyed U.S. industry. As will OGayDon’tCare.

      • Kathryn Jordan

I hope President Trump can get congress, the courts, the bureaucracies and the American people to follow him in his direction — to buy items that are made in America. Why outsource our jobs for cheap labor, pay large importing fees and then sell this cheap stuff in stores like Wal-Mart to other stores at prices that can range from $5.99 to $150.99 depending upon the store and item.

        • omni

President Trump is alone in his fight(other than the 60 MILLION people who voted for him!). He needs to shut all bureaucracies, fire everyone in the justice dept. (as bill Clinton did on day one of his term) and go directly to the people and have them pressure their representatives(or vote in new ones)!

          • Kathryn Jordan

You are right. Trump does need to shut down all bureaucracies, stop all financial dealings with China. If companies want to go to another country to do business, Trump needs to put a big tax on those companies.

    • Kathryn Jordan

Amen to that. I hope that President Trump can get China reigned in; stop all financial dealing with them not to mention importing their cheap goods. what we should do is put sanctions on china as well. let them get a taste of their own medicine as North Korea is getting.

      • Donna Lee Coutchavlis-Wong

Tax our U.S. companies who decide to stay out of our country to do business. I think items must be clearly marked the ratio say car parts to a vehicle you are interested in buying of how much made in The USA. Try to shop mom and pop stores here locally to support small businesses and produce from a he farms and fruit stands when you can.

        • Kathryn Jordan

I agree; tax those US companies who decide to stay out of our country to do business. I’ve seen so many “mom and pop” stores close around here that it is sad. I want to see those stores come back and support them. I wish that Columbus had fruit stands.

  • Yarbles

China is Globalist. One of the leaders of the Socialist New World Order, according to Merkel, along with Germany. The only reason N. Korea has survived at all is China. China and Iran have also contributed greatly to N. Korea’s Nuclear and ICBM programs.

Why are we still doing business with China? It’s mostly cheap crap anyway.

Globalist corporations build the things we need in China now. Often there are no alternatves. It has gone that far. If you want see the Globalist Socialist plan for us, look at the Chinese captive workforce and Chinese society.
The idea that Trump with MAGA is reversing things is one reason that gives me some hope.

        • steven jacobs

“Often there are no alternatves. It has gone that far”-defeatist talk

personally, I buy American whenever I can. I go to the site Made in America.com. Yes, it is a bit more expensive, but the quality seems to be better-and I am keeping my $$$$$ in America.ALSO, i BUY CARS ASSEMBLED in America. And I look for the cars with the highest percentage of AMERICAN made parts. I read that some fords are 92% foreign parts-a deal breaker for me. My Subaru is more American than that Ford. There are PLENTY of alternatives-not 100%, but PLENTY enough to make a REAL difference.

          • Yarbles

Not defeatist just realist. I do the same things with vehicles, tactical flashlights, recreational products, even FOOD. Canned Smoke oysters, for example. Most come from China. Have found only one brand – Kroger Brand – that come from Korea. There are many other examples. Most of the parts of your cell phones and electronics goods of ANY kind are made mostly from components from China.

What the Chinese work force must endure today, is the Globalist plan for all of us for tomorrow. Read ‘The Road to Serfdom’ by Nobel Prize Winning Economist F. A von Hayek (back when the Nobel Prize meant something)

          • Kathryn Jordan

Thanks for the site. Never knew that site existed. I wish the retail industry would buy more “Made in America” than “Made in China”. I guess it is a good thing I don’t drive anymore; I don’t have to figure out what is made in a different country and what is made here. I guess if I were driving, I would buy a Subaru.

          • allen osborne

I agree about defeatist talk. Americans find the Way when there is none. People of faith built this country and people of faith are the only ones that can restore it !

            I am in complete agreement.
            God Bless America!

      • Right on and we are being forced by our Economy to sell off all our Scrap to China as well They know how to work it.

        • steven jacobs

Support the President’s effort to bring manufacturing back to America, and that scrap will stay here! Buy American when you can. And if it is not made in America-take a minute to think if you REALLY NEED it.

          • Kathryn Jordan

That is one thing I do support. I may not like the president, but this is one thing I do support. I want our manufacturing back to America. I am so tired to buying things that say “made in …” and not “made in America”. I would rather by “Made in America” because I know it would be of quality.

      • USN Vet 31yrs Svc

Your right. Try to buy anything thats made in the USA though.

        • steven jacobs

It may be a little difficult-but worth the effort. Check out sites like Made in America.com-and others. The more we buy American, the more manufactures will come back to America. The CONSUMER has to make the first move. But I do not know if today’s American has the will/intelligence to do so

          • USN Vet 31yrs Svc

Most crap from china, india, vn & etc. Is cheap & has a short life span. But, its cheap. People do not have the $ to follow a made in the USA priority. Until they make it profitable to mfg in America, it will not change. Environmental regs & taxes have drive mfg out of this country. I will not pay $100 for a USA made shirt to work in the garden.

          • Kathryn Jordan

had our manufacturing jobs not been outsourced to china and mexico, prices for items that are made in America would have been at a decent price. You are correct when you say that stuff from China, India and other places is cheap and have a short life span. and that is the reason why it is CHEAP. I would rather spend the money on items made in America than items made in a different country.

          • allen osborne

Our corporation taxes are the highest in the world for toooo long. The gov should lower this tax to make USA competitive again.

That I do agree on. If that happens, manufacturing jobs can come back and we will see more “Made in America” products. I would rather support the workers of this country than workers in a different country by buying the clothes that are made in places like China.

          • Kathryn Jordan

And you are absolutely correct. We should lower those taxes except on those companies who want to do business outside our country. I can understand a business like IBM being a worldwide company; businesses who want to do business outside the USA just for cheap labor, they are the ones who need to be slapped with the highest tax not the companies that remain here.

          • Tom Langstrom

When such a great percentage of Americans were too damn lazy to even get out and vote during the last election do you really think that they will go the extra little distance to do anything to help their own country? Your point is well taken but reality hits right between the eyes.

        • 7LibertyForAll

That’s why President Trump is negotiating with businesses to bring them back to the US and encouraging others to enlarge or build here. They were chased away with onerous regulations, awful taxes and unrealistic expectations. Ya can’t buy American stuff if there are no plants here. It’s been much less expensive for them to move offshore to manufacture things. Those who come back to a much more friendly industrial environment will do much better under Trumps presidency.

        • The Capatin

Most of what I buy is manufactured in the US, UK and Italy. I am buying hats, suits and other clothing.

      • Kathryn Jordan

That is true; we, as Americans, like to buy cheap crap. It is time to start buying stuff that is made in America. We need to have industries that provide jobs here that make items we buy here; items that say “Made In America”.

        • steven jacobs

the American “character” has been destroyed. Most Americans cannot figure out what is happening to them

          • Kathryn Jordan

I sure hope the American “character” can return to where it was before it was destroyed. Do you think that people will be able to figure out what is happening to them?

          • omni

sorry-NO! They are too busy being indoctrinated in gender/income/racial/sexual equality/fairness to realize what real life issues are converging upon them. If it is not on an 8 sq. inch screen-it ISN’T real! And they are living in mom’s basement-so they are buffered from the real world in that respect too. As the Greeks said-“all good things come to an end”.

          • Kathryn Jordan

You’re right. The Greeks said “all good things come to an end”; it’s about time that the bureaucrats, and even those who are so blind to “real life issues”, learn a tough lesson. Our character needs to return to its greatness that it once was. From the bottom of my heart, I know America can do that.

          • steven jacobs

for America to have a CHANCE at a return to its former greatness and decency
            1)welfare must go
            2)english as the official language
3)end all immigration for 10 years
4)teach ONLY the basic skills in school reading-writing-history-math and CITIZENSHIP.
5)end all “special” treatment for “victims”
6)everybody under the SAME law-no exceptions and no embellishments
7)the budget cannot exceed 90% of the tax revenues
8)skew trade policy to GREATLY favor basing your business in the USA

          • Kathryn Jordan

question: what special treatment for “victims”? I do agree on teaching about Citizenship since I don’t think too many of our children even know what that means. Not a bad idea about English being the official language (why don’t you tell President Trump that?). It is time to do something with the “welfare”; there are people who abuse it and who don’t really need that help. Yeah I needed it once; not anymore. We need to teach new trade skills to those on welfare so they can get off of it.

          • steven jacobs

            special treatment:
I go for a job and a LGBT person goes for the same job-same qualifications but LGBT gets the job for the sake of “diversity”
Government contacts favor businesses that have “minority” workers over “regular” workers
you are “bipolar” so you get a stipend from the gov’t for life
white kid and black kid go for the same slot in a college-same grades-who gets it?
sorry-this sort of thing bothers me-and it has become the norm.

          • Kathryn Jordan

Everyone deserves a job. I respect how you feel. It is the same for those who have a disability who are capable to do the job and someone who doesn’t have a disability gets the job. Incidentally, I have epilepsy. I am not bipolar. If my neurologist gives me the “go ahead” to work, I will go back to work. I worked for 20 years as a cashier until it destroyed my health and my neurologist decided to put me onto Social Security Disability. Why don’t you go through 232 seizures while you worked for 20 years at the same company, 3 right temporal lobe resections, and then lose your job because you are such an inconvience to your team leaders. Tell me how you would deal with that. I don’t think you have any idea what it is like to have uncontrolled seizures.

          • steven jacobs

I have no idea what seizures are like, thank God. But if you read how the lawyer “judge shop”for the judges that approve 98% of all requests you will understand that-although there are some people with legitimate needs- there are hundreds of thousands of SCAM ARTISTS-an example was the DRAMATIC spike in disability cases with the 2008 recession and its high unemployment. Did everybody just get “disabled” all of a sudden? Been nice talking to you-best of luck.

          • Kathryn Jordan

I can’t answer why there was in increase in disability cases in 2008 recession. Who knows if everyone got “disabled”; I agree that there are scam artists out there who do their best to defraud the government of Social Security Disability benefits. There are people who are “legitimately” in need of those benefits because they are disabled. Why or how they became disabled is anyone’s guess.

      • J.B. Young

And are we given a choice?

        • omni

          of course!!
1)if it is NOT made in America -and it is not VITAL for your life/livelihood-DON’T BUY IT!
          2) find sites that sell MADE IN AMERICA(Made in America.com is one of those).
3)when buying a car see where it is assembled-and what % of the parts are American made-go with the “most American”-
4)tell people that, when the buy you gifts-to BUY AMERICAN
This is not a complete list-nor is it the perfect strategy. BUT-manufacturers and retailers are VERY-VERY-VERY sensitive to the wishes of the consumer. Without the consumer, they are finished. You WILL make a difference Good luck!

You can take a look on one side of a body of water separating China from North Korea and you can see the difference: North Korea and it’s poverty and China with it’s wealth. China supplies items to North Korea that we otherwise would not. I still say we ought to put sanctions on China and make them just as harsh if not harsher than the ones we put onto North Korea. The crap that comes out of China is so cheap that it is surprising if it lasts for a long time.

China has a chance to do something good but has chosen to ride the perverbial fence. If you ride the fence long enough — sooner or later one of the posts is going to stick you in the butt. It seems the whole world knows the little fat brat is NOT playing with a full deck and for China to just do nothing tells a lot about the game they are playing. We need to levy huge sanctions against China and all the crap we import from them instead of sanctions against Russia.

    • Great points! My Dad fought in the Democratic/UN kill young American boys and do no good thing police action of Korea! His revelation has always stuck with me, “War will change and we are now the Mercenaries of a one world system that won’t let us win, but will let us die”. MacArthur was right then and the Democrats crucified him for it, we could have won the entire Peninsula in less than a month and been in Peking in two, his strategy was flawless! But Truman and the UN wanted a long drawn out stalemate war, where each team must be evenly equipped on the Battlefield in Arms and Personnel. Thus we have world Elites unaccountable to the People playing a giant game of Risk and countries like Iran and Korea are allowed to exist to create Fear, to steal peoples Liberty! All the while the G20, G10 and Global initiatives just keep checking off their incremental transformation of the world into that Perfect Communist/Islamic/Fascist Utopia! Soon as these plans get exposed it will be time to Lock and Load and Defend our Families may GOD be with us!

      • Gerry Costa

Completely agree and the same with Vietnam. I fought there 67-69 and was going to reup but figured out — our government wasn’t trying to win the war but allowed about 58,429 of us to die. We had them devastated in 1968 after their failed Tet offensive and we could have ended it there except for the fact that our government stopped us. According to General Giap(commanding officer of the North) they were ready to surrender after Tet but for certain reasons they did not. Seems to me ever since WWII we have NOT fought a war to win but to draw and our people have died and are dying for no good reason.

        • Dan

Generally the way the democrats get the economy ramped up. More hard good to support a war effort.

          • Capisocialism is our word for it, as it has no resemblance to Free Market Capitalism, but rather works on the theory of Scarcity, for profit! They manipulate one side of the market and invest in the other and thus why they don’t like spontaneous War, as they have no time to make sure they profit from said war! Thus they like to tell the whole world that we intend to go to war 6 months in advance! Nothing is accidental, or left to chance when Democrats start buying stock in Weapons and Ammunition Factories, then invest in Energy Stocks, War is not far in the future!!

        • Thanks Gary I suspected that you were also a Vet! Completely agree with Viet Nam and we can add the War on Poverty, War on Drugs, Bosnia, Iraq 1, Iraq 2 and Afghanistan! I was personally in the War on Drugs, where Democrats used National Guard units Darklight. We destroyed crops in Mexico, supply lines in El Salvador, Coca factories in Columbia and Cartel targets in Costa Rica. When one of us died our Parents and the News got word of a Training accident with Fatalities in the States, no medals, no records and for 15yrs no Veteran status! And did we win H’ll no, the DEA, FBI and CIA made deals with the big Cartels who were more than happy to turn over the small Cartels in exchange for limited competition, they even started waving at our Convoys as if we were friends, made me sick and I resigned my commission! But, the truth is even worse than you imagine, if LibertyHeadJobs allows this true comment, for once.
Clinton gave/sold N.K. 2 breeder reactors loaded with weapons grade plutonium, each cost U.S. tax payers $5.128B (aka national debt). Clinton gave 20 to Red China.
Carter, Clinton, OGay, Reagan, et al, sent FREE shipments of rice & diesel fuel to N.K. increasing DEBT.
N.K. was then able to grow drug crops, instead of food, distributed via N.K. embassies throughout the world, with diplomatic immunity & MUCH greater profit/income.
Clinton gave/sold Long Beach deep water port to R.C. as a military base.
Panama canal was also given to the R.C.
WTO TREASON eliminated import tariffs on R.C. goods (slave labor + stolen resources), creating the biggest wealth transfer in human history.
OGay outlawed U.S. coal. Coal Co.s went bankrupt. R.C. bought U.S. coal mines. Mr. T OK’s coal & met with R.C. leaders & bragged that U.S. will now buy (U.S.) coal from R.C.
OGay OK’d sale of U.S. infrastructure to R.C. (roads, bridges, rivers, mountains, lakes, …). R.C. is now rumored to “own” several States.

From what I can see, China isn’t going to do anything but lean more to North Korea even if it does have a dictator that is not playing with a full deck. Maybe one sanction should be that China can’t participate in the Olympics anymore because of their friendship with North Korea and then not doing anyhing.

      • Gerry Costa

        Great idea Kathryn !!

  • Robert Kuhlmann

Sorry but I must be missing something. If N. Korea strikes first, and I do not believe America will, the rest is moot. China wants to beat their chest to show their power or at least on the media. I live in China and I see more show of strength in one parade marking the 70th anniversary last year. Over 30,000 military in uniforms, marching in unison. .hundreds of tanks, weaponry, etc. They show it multiple times every day. They get off on showing their military. Makes them feel powerful. Over 50% of their movies are war movies with gory killing of hundreds or thousands, blood everywhere. I don’t know who the enemy is. They are all Asian. Their guns shoot for 20 minutes without reloading. It is actually hilarious. I never seen one reload. Always showing the muscle. I don’t recall seeing one such parade in America with one tank or thousands of marching soldiers, etc.

However, they appear to be a peaceful country in spite of Communism. It is very safe living in China.

    • pogivic19

      My mistake. Sorry Robert!

    • Donna Lee Coutchavlis-Wong

Yes, I f you agree to child labor, and working 12 hour days and get paid in empty peanut shells. And living in an unbreathable communist country. At least they are strict with the Muslims that are there dictating no beards, and alcohol is a staple there, etc

      • Robert Kuhlmann

Dear Donna Lee. Focus dear girl. We are not talking about child labor, empty peanut shells and Muslims. We are talking about a maniac dictator who is killing his own family and thousands of North Koreans and publicly threatening America with nuclear warheads. And being allowed to build his nuclear arsenal while no one seems to care or attempt to stop him. Is it wise to allow him to do this? The UN has warned him and his father repeatedly to stop. This “boy” only wants power which will destroy his country. I pity the poor people of North Korea.

Why does China say they will be “neutral” if North Korea attacks America, but will “defend” North Korea if America attacks North Korea and “stop them”? That is two different results. Like a dragon with two heads. Why won’t China “defend” America if North Korea attacks first? Why not treat both of them the same? China does one thing for their neighbor. And something totally different for America. Pure and total prejudice from China. A common problem I have learned since living in China.

        • socialsavvy

Most interesting. China’s prejudice is definitely a jaundice thing with the NK’s being closer akin to themselves. As a white person most of us feel so good with ourselves, or should that we find it difficult to believe that other would not like us for the logical reasons. NK is still a great trade partner with China. No long distance boat rides, and they understand each other. The one thing we need to remember is that China came into NK when McArthur was preparing to dive head long into the China resistance. It ended with our being pushed out, whether in reality or by orders of Truman. Most favored the win taken back to the China border, but then were told that McArthur was a crazy old man and we could not win against the hoards of China. I have no idea, my parents did not buy that story. However, how many more Americans would die and then for what? Peace! Anyway. …her we go again and this time does little Kim Un have the right idea that he has the right to have what the other nine nations with the atomic power has? No psychological testing for him, we might need some of that back in the US.

I have been told for years that the yellow man has a higher average IQ and learning ability than the white man. If not they darn sure are going to have it by proving they do. Check out the accomplished and then maybe that is why the Chinese prefer the poor underprivileged NK to us.

          • Robert Kuhlmann

Great comments socialsavvy. Actually Chinese are not yellow or jaundiced. Many years ago, colors were affixed to nationalities. Yellow was chosen for Chinese and other Asians. Americans were given the color white. African Americans black and too, some are not black at all. American Indians red. etc. Some Chinese are whiter than you or I.

Living in Chinese has been very educational. I have experienced their ignorance, such as pushing on an elevator when the elevator is full and people want to get off. They do not believe to wait in line at the train or airports. They push in the front of the line. Women, men and children at young ages. They feel “entitled” and rules do not apply to them.

Further, they don’t seem to understand simple things. Confucius started in China for a very good reason. They are always confused. I am not being unkind at all. Experience is a great teacher. They are very naïve people and believe everything they see or hear from “other” Chinese. And it is a given that all Chinese lie. They admit to it. And they are very sneaky people. They also do not know how to stick to a commitment; again from experience. They change at will. The children are adorable and most of the women are pleasant. Men are not very friendly, with a few exceptions. But that same child or woman will knock you down getting off an elevator or push in front of you in line. Rude and ignorant in many ways. Sure, there are many lovely Chinese people. But those who I have met who speak English, agree wholeheartedly with my overall assessment of their own people.

How will China react if we shut down the five banks they use to support NK?

China thinks very intelligently about its words and actions. My belief is that war will start through a miscalculation by North Korea. In any event, China will come to the DPRK’s aid, but this war will be different–very quick. The U.S. would devastate the North through missile and space borne weapons, and then China would come in after the place cools down and take over.

The EPA and OSHA with their demands, and companies went off-shore.

  • steven jacobs

Hey, we have no problem going to war with everybody else. Why not China and Russia?

  • Louie Rey

Well that pretty much indicates whose side China’s on, no? So if North Korea attempts a first strike, which would be the start of the aggression, China will remain neutral. But if America and/or its allies in the region make a preemptive strike then China will engage us. I see a mushroom cloud in that area’s future and maybe not just one. No wonder Kim Jong-unwatchable is so bellicose. He knows he has China’s backing.

China does not want war, plain and simple. A war close to their border is definitely not in their best interest. They are about gaining wealth and prosperity for their country and people.

  • BRAIN S.

The Chinese could not be very smart. If they remain neutral, and NK acts first, the American/South Korean alliance will certainly defeat KIM, whatever the damage done to the South Koreans, but the reward will be the unification of the Korean Peninsula. It is what America wants, and it will be acquired with little loss of American lives, but substantive loss to the South Koreans. If America act first, the same result will occur, as both China and America will try to avoid a direct hit on either territory, but the Korean Peninsula will be filling the waters around them with the blood of the Koreans
It seems that the weapons have eyes and will select those who they want to kill.
KIM is the smartest in the trio, as neither of the big guns would want HISTORY to record that they were responsible for WORLD WAR 111.
All this because countries with WMDs do not want others to have them, and so, whittle down their control of Global affairs.

  • nokabosh

So, we are at an apparent stalemate unless NK attacks. But that’s not okay either. NK will still have it nukes and continue to threaten the US. It’s up to China to change this dynamic. We can force China’s hand with economic moves.

  • Walmart is a big Problem with selling Chinese Junk

  • nokabosh

The best outcome would be if China removed Kim and his nukes and allowed the two Korea’s to unite. New trade possibilities would result. The need for the US to beef up its Pacific defenses to counter NK & China would abate. China could still expand. But China is too much about face and likes having NK pose a threat to the US. We might still get this outcome if we put into effect economic measures against China.

Most reliable sources do indicate China’s economy to be slightly ahead of the USA or even with it. What they do not show is the rate China is burning through her natural resources/reserves, her current slight economic advantage and now has stated her support of NK. Her military is mighty but at a level so far below the national strength of the USA as to be more of a nuisance than an insurmountable threat. The USA and Russia seldom show any of their real time weapons, and then only those which by later change has been made obsolete. Fat Boy has learned from Mother China the wrong lessons and they both may be sadly educated soon. Their hate filled rhetoric and instructions for the behavior of the civilized world is silly. I hope President Trump stumbles upon the right way to end this needless diplomatic horseapples, if he can stop twittering or tweeting long enough to work up a good mad……..do it or get off the pot!

Well we were just ordered by China to allow ourselves to be nuked or they will declare war against us. China wants control of the whole pacific rim of asian countries. China has now openly declared we are the enemy. Japan needs a nuclear arsenal to counter this threat

    • 1947goldenjet

And a nuclear South Korea. If China is threatened with that likelihood they might act against Lil Kim themselves.

      • will

To easy to overthrow the south – nukes safer in Japan and Japan has changed since WWII. They like their version democracy and would never want to go back to the fascist pre WWII govt. I think Japan is a better ally than GB in many ways.

        • 1947goldenjet

I think that China would be more alarmed at nukes in South Korea than Japan. Also there argument against nukes in south Korea would be weaker than there argument against nukes in Japan. Just my opinion.

  • Ted Bell

50% tariff on all China goods and 50% tariffs on any one trading with North Korea until all nukes have been verified to have been removed. In addition those countries that we do not trade or have financial transactions with the United States who violate this embargo. With an example being a country like “Iran” who transfers product or cash/credit to North Korea. Then, ANY COUNTRY that continues to do business/trade with those countries would have a 50% tariff placed on their imports and after 30 days it would increase continually 5% every 60 days until nukes were gone. This includes even those who honored the embargo themselves but continue to trade with those who violated the embargo.

Or the inevitable will occur, WAR, where the likely result being millions of innocent deaths. Of
course the Chamberlain surrender Dems and globalists would not want to sacrifice any monetary loss to their portfolio when they could reap the benefits of another war and move to consolidate there power.

  • Kathryn Jordan

How China can stay “neutral” at all if North Korea strikes first sure is beyond me. However, they want to strike militarily if South Korea and the United States strike first and try to do a regime change (North Korea needs a change — from a nutcase dictator to a positive ruler). I don’t see how the United States can trust China anymore. Maybe we should put sanctions on China just like we did on North Korea. It’s amazing to me how a country that has such ties with North Korea would want to keep them because of their threats to the United States. Are they willing to chance Trump using the mother of all bombs on China as well?

    • 1947goldenjet

If they stayed neutral in 1952 there would be no North Korea now. They do not want to lose their vassal state. It is a major concession to us and a major warning to Lil Kim that they would be neutral if Lil Kim acted first.

      • Kathryn Jordan

I guess this is a time, one wishes that china had stayed neutral in 1952. North Korea is so isolated and so poor; it’s amazing that they even survive. do you think we will be able to get the other American detainees out before anything happens between the United States and North Korea?

        • 1947goldenjet

Not a shot. Our only hope is that China sees little advantage in a nuclear war with us that they invade North Korea and remove Lil Kim themselves. The next best shot is if the Chinese have enough pull with the North Korean military and intelligence services to orchestrate a coup and offer Kim asylum in China.

      • Kathryn Jordan

Maybe China ought to be hit with the biggest sanctions package the United States Congress can come up with and hit them where it will hurt — their wallets. I want that country to get a big taste of their own medicine just like North Korea is getting. We have stop buying cheap stuff that is imported from China.
